Thanks so much! Unfortunately I know a lot of people who were quite sick for several weeks recently, but I'm grateful this one was not so bad for me. I was very miserable when I had it in 2022!
Sometimes I get so deep in this conversation that I forget to oress the like thumb❤❤❤❤❤, so I get bet and give you a like, and sometimes I check if I gave that like on previous episodes!😊 I Do like them abd I love the book suggestions that I plan to get on Audible..thank you so much. Lots of love from Lisbon 🥰 💕 ❤️ 💗
I love your Alpine Boom sweater! I use SHOUT Color Catcher Sheets when washing something likely to bleed. I put 1-2 in the sink with the FO and hold my breath. They usually do the job. I'll never knit with red next to white again after my first disaster! I have a book suggestion for you: every December I re-listen to Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher. Its a lovely holiday story about a late in life finding of kindred spirits.
Thanks for the color catcher suggestion. And I love that book! I've read it many times. It's one I turn to when I need something cozy and soothing. I also like Pilcher's September.
I also love my Lento! It seems to be the best fitting on me too. Getting ready to cast on a second and after seeing yours I think I’ll do a single neck rib also!
Your knitting is lovely! I enjoy your calm way of sharing with us out in the world. I am getting ready to do a gauge swatch for the DRK Everyday Cowl soon. It will be fun to see what your cowl looks like, mine will be in a variegated pink and a purple. 😁 First to finish the grandsons Hanukkah socks and spend some time on my second sweater. Happy Thanksgiving from the NW WA state! .
How nice to sit and visit with you while working on a Christmas gift this afternoon 😊. Have you ever knit a garment by Norwegian designer, Sidsel Hoivik? I'm a bit obsessed with her kits this week, and will definitely order one at some point. It will definitely be a long-term project, and yes, I'm trying my best to enable 😃. Happy Thanksgiving to you!
Hi, Sandra! I so admire Sidsel Hoivik's patterns, but haven't tried them yet. Recently I discovered a podcast called My Wonderful Knitting LIfe and she talks about knitting Sidsel's kits. She says they aren't that difficult. Part of my hesitation has been wanting to tweak the colors, but it would be really fun to get a kit for a project of that size.
@@northwestknitting5993I recently found that podcast, too! Also, have a look at Nikki, Knitting With Cat Hair (you would enjoy her podcast). She recently received a kit, but was able to switch colours by contacting the designer.
Really great to sit and knit with you. Thanks for all the tips. Got quite a bit done on my Blueberry Vodka sleeve. Funny, I'm using a Rauma yarn in a dark teal (comes in balls) and my finger tips are stained when I eventually put the knitting down.
@@northwestknitting5993 I've used it twice before on the dark base with no dye transfer with no problem either. I love the yarn and will continue to use, I'm just going to make sure it's well washed before I wear it.
I’ve made several jumpers with Jamieson’s and Jamieson’s & Smith-they’ve always bloomed nicely and I’ve always been happy with the outcome (I have the same loose gauge you do and use a size 3 as well). I do put it in hot water and leave it in the water until it cools-usually overnight. I don’t know what happened with your videos-I’ve not been getting the notifications and have missed the last two.
Glad you weathered the storm! ❤ Thankfully, covid is the new cold, very mild. I’ve had it twice and never had the shot. I too, was fine. 😊

Love the cardigan 😊

Thank you, Paula!
We had a lovely thanksgiving. Your sweaters are beautiful, the color work is spectacular.
Thank you!
Stunning Alpine Bloom Kathy! Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy your family time🧶
Thanks, Teresa! Happy Thanksgiving to you!
I bet Ellie will love winding yarn with you!!
Barb, it's the most exciting thing I have to offer! But I think the two dogs and the baby will also keep her very occupied. Hope you are well!

Interesting. I haven't had that happen before using Rauma. I used the color they call petrol.

@@jo-annethompson9645 I do love Rauma!

I've really been enjoying the yarn, now that my fears have been resolved! I'm glad you found me again
