I purchased one of those vacuum coolant fillers to bleed the system. Are you saying that just by leaving the cap open it will bleed all the air pockets?
Actually, even if you have the cap closed, it should bleed out the whole cooling system, don't forget to turn the heat to the max. As far as I know, it might have a pressure release valve, but you can also leave the cap off, just don't forget it. I'm not sure how efective those things are. Never used one.
