One thing I couldn’t appreciate about this one live is it seriously has some of the best lyricism in any song I’ve ever heard. Vessel is seriously a top tier song writer Also everything that isnt the drums is most likely Vessel, he played everything (bar bass as that was George Lever) on previous albums. Piano is 100% him
sleep token is not a metal band and and they're my favorite band for that. they take my favorite aspects of metalcore but never let themselves be defined by genre. their music is simply theirs

They take elements of pop music that I tend to like, and replace the bad parts of pop that I don't like with metal elements that I like. It's great fun and I've positively fallen in love with it. I cannot wait for this album to drop.
A lot of the music that gets popular seems to be through new metal heads who just care for the super heavy breakdowns. This is like a love song to older metal fans who have found a way to appreciate the finer aspects of these metal bands
I’d argue that Sleep Token are trying to prove they’re not a metal band. They’re just… a band. Sometimes the music is heavy, sometimes it’s sad, sometimes it’s sultry and sexy, and sometimes it’s upbeat and poppy. They just make music for people who like music

Yeah Vessel is the main Piano guy. While I won't reveal his personal channel and out his identity, he makes amazing music with just him an the piano as his bread and butter alongside his amazing tortured voice (I mean that with utmost respect and admiration btw lol). He's just perfect. I really wanna show off his personal stuff cause it's powerful and it makes me cry everytime I hear and see them cause of the messages in a couple but you're gonna just have to trust me hehe.

granite felt so bland to me. But I also have been following sleep token since before sundowning and to me granite doesn’t compare to anything from sundowning but it’s all opinionated.
The song writing on these tracks are amazing as you'd expect but mix-wise I feel like they're just very cookie-cutter modern metalcore sounding. The mix sounds good and it does the job, but I think George Lever's mix style (who mixed everything Sleep Token from the start up until these recent singles) would've just brought a touch more more character and uniqueness to the mix and still hit just as hard

Aqua regia is an acid mix they use to dissolve metals like gold. I think thats why the video has that fluidity to it
