Meanwhile, the new one sounds like a fully mature woman, who's looking back at her painful heart brokened memories from years ago, but sings it with a more brave & bold heart. Idk what to choose.. These were my exact thoughts when I first listened to “Red (Taylor’s Version)”!!! I described the stolen version of her actually living through the pain, while the re-recorded version is her reflecting on that pain.
i heard somewhere that the reason why the "weEE"s in WANEGBT TV are so high pitched is cuz she originally wanted them to sound like little kids sliding down a slide, but her manager talked her out of it
I can honestly say that I prefer every single TV over the original :) especially Red, Wildest Dreams, Holy Ground, Stay Stay Stay, Come Back Be Here and Girl at home. You can hear how much love she put in the re-recordings.
From what I heard, it is also actually how she intended it to sound like. But her old label decided to not put another pop song on it, so they just sent out the demo version of it.
I prefer Taylors versions on all she has re-released coz I think her voice has matured just a bit more and to be honest I don't care coz I love all that she's done anyway ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
For me some songs I like the older one better and some I like the newer version it just depends on which song fit her more mature and less mature voice but I only stream Taylors Version
I don't want to sound snarky or condescending at all but anyone who has experience producing music can hear all of the differences pretty clearly (though admittedly some songs are more altered than others.) They absolutely do sound super similar, they are supposed to but there are subtle differences, especially vocally. How she puts emphasis on different syllables, how she holds certain notes, how she enunciates, etc. That said, it is definitely extremely difficult to hear some of the differences when it plays different parts instead of the same part both times back to back.
@@DeadSezSo Yeah I know what you mean. I hear all the differences too, especially the syllables. I can tell everything is much more up front. The only song I have a problem with is Better Man TV. I don’t know if it’s only a problem with me, but some parts of the chorus’s bass sounds like it’s fighting with either itself or the rest of the production. Like it has this weird bass vibration around “…I can feel you again, but I just…” around the 2:22 mark, and it’s on the 2nd chorus, and the lines “…might still be in love if you were a…” near the end around the 4:11 mark.
Edit: to clarify, I’m talking about within the song itself, not in this video.
Maybe I’m not making any sense, but it just sounds so off and very uncomfortable to me for some reason.
If i ever get a glow up, i want it that to be like State Of Grace TV. Holy molly, the og feels like a demo now cause the goodness of the the TV
the original vocals of 22 and we are never getting back together are still featured on taylor's version, also, girl at home at taylor's version is no longer country compared to the original
i like WANGBT 2012 version, i dont like sounds of taylor’s version
im a critic swiftie
the one i would prefer 2012 version is only WANGBT, and I knew you were trouble.
the rest TV for sure
i dont like some too and i noticed they are singles (ikywt, 22, wanegbt). It might just be a me problem since i'm so used to the old version since i've been listening to them for years
I relly love her incomparable voice😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
TV can never match the stolen version of 22, WANEGBT, IKYWT, Holy ground, Girl At Home
The way stay stay stay sounded… bad in the original version and it’s so good in the Taylor’s version… wow.
i forgot how more noticeable the dubstep is in the stolen version. if that makes sense

the original is a classic.
Some tracks sounds underwhelming while some tracks improved thats what I feel about this album❤️
I can't believe i never noticed the voice crack in 22 lmao
I knew you were trouble SHINES on Taylors Version
Better production, more harmonic and better treatment to the high vocals
YESS
i love girl at home tv because of the improved vocals and the upbeat music!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I love this
Girl at home really got that upgrade in TV
Though her voice pitched down still it's beautiful ♥️
Better Man sounds way better. Is actually one of her best songs
22 sounded so like a phone voice memo but she delivered
The old is better tbh has a more natural sound
Girl At Home got a complete revamp
I Like Both, To Be Honest
I'm really tone deaf so i can't really tell the difference except the really obvious vocal differences but i'll be replacing all the taylor swift songs on my playlist to Taylor's version ones because i want to support her.
She’s clearly a better artist now and using better production on every song, Taylor’s version is objectively better
I know we're all swifties here but its okay not to lie to ourselves... some of these are bad we can admit it lol
girl at home notably sounds different
different genre!
I dunno but now I hear Stolen Version kinda weird
