I scrolled down to find this comment. As I was watching I found myself really appreciating Seth as an interviewer. He gives her room to answer, elaborate, expand, and even go off in different directions. It's clear they have good rapport and she trusts him. No wonder his is the show she chose to do right before the album released.

Seth is an incredibly respectful host unlike Jimmy. He doesn't interrupt, let's her speak her thoughts regardless of the questions he has, and doesn't make awkward comments ever. Just a genuine dude.

Fallon's weak interviewing/conversation skills are the reason why his guests often take part in silly 'games' - it fills the time slot and takes the pressure off of Fallon.

@@BuildinWings That is likely a factor, but that absolutely does not change or cancel out the fact that this is a genuine issue that many smaller artists also face and do not have the same resources to combat it. So many artists get tied into predatory contracts that prevent them from owning their own music, and prevent them from making money from or from using their own music. She might not need the extra money, but she is someone who has the power to shine a light on this issue. Even if the money is genuinely the primary reason, doing the right thing for a wrong reason is still doing the right thing.

she's actually is! She finished her studies earlier than her age, and also she had one poetries and basically written something like an unpublished novel? Lol I'm not really sure. Some says that she writes her songs at 20 - 30 mins including the beats, chorus everything! She just doesn't stop writing as she said on one interview.
I think it’s a wonderful testament to how she was raised. All of the fame she has achieved yet she has remained, by all accounts, incredibly grounded and treats other people really well…. I’ve often said that if I had daughters I can’t think of a finer role model in the entertainment business than Taylor Allison Swift… She is a class act in every sense
Well… imho, it’s not so much she’s smart. I think it’s cuz she’s well-grounded. And, why is she well-grounded? Cuz she had and has a loving relationship with her parents who love her unconditionally. They not just love her, they are supportive of her. When they realized she’s got perfect pitch and a strong desire to sing professionally, they moved to Nashville. Her father is a financial advisor or something like that so she probably picked up some good advice from him. The parents also love each other. Miss Swift is a quadruple threat. She can write lyrics. She can write music. She can sing. She can play musical instruments.
She also comes across as genuinely a nice person (unless you cross her when dating her, then she’s just like the rest of us…human).

idk how this woman does it? Every time she gets screwed over she manages to come out on top. Even though this album is a re-record, it somehow has everyone feeling like their listening to a whole new era. Even i thought i wouldn't care about these re-records, but damn I'm so invested.

I'm glad she explained why is she rerecording in the first place, cause Rerecording is a very heavy money and time consuming process and they are not usually successful, since fans keep buying old albums as for nostalgia, so for her Rerecording which actually gave a tough competition to her original album, she can bring a change in industry, let we all support her
We should help to protect masters of any artists and every person should be the owner of his works.
It's such BS that you can own your music but a Corporation owns the recording so you have zero control and tiny royalties.
just think of it as a weird remastering project. with all the extra songs and 4 LPs it looks a lot like remastering projects.

It’s not necessarily her own fault, but that the press and media attention scare away her boyfriends-such as her partner Joe Alwyn who she dated for six years. I’m sure there are also plenty of gold diggers out there. However, her older relationships fell apart 9 times out of 10 because she was a young woman dating an older man, which is famously a recipe for disaster.

I may not have heard all of her songs or even liked any of them, except for the songs in the album 1989, the best album of hers BTW, but I really love and enjoy watching all her interviews. She’s really matured as a singer-songwriter. I never thought so even five years ago. She’s like the Joni Mitchell of her generation and she deserves to be taken seriously.
Can’t believe I’ve grown up hearing “Taylor is such a mean person off cam”, because I refuse to think this glowing gem of a person can be mean. I mean, we can all be a bit mean at times, but I was made the impression that she’s a bad person. Only recently have I started getting into her music and watching her as a person, and just… there’s no part of me that think she’s a bad person. She seems like a ball of joy, and I’m so happy for her that she’s able to re-record her songs and claim as her own (rightfully so). My list only includes Taylor’s versions of the songs she has re-recorded. I really like her as a person and her music, from what I’ve seen and heard so far.
People often underestimate the genius of Taylor Swift and I mean this in a most literal way.

I've been a fan of Taylor since I was in primary school. Being the age that she was when she recorded the music , now, and hearing it again with more life perspective makes the music all that much more special. Her fans get to re-relate to her and also feel the nostalgic feelings of when we heard it for the first time years ago.

it's pretty punk rock what she is doing. By re-recording those albums, she is effectively cancelling the original versions and they are going to lose a ton of value. Then she will buy them for pennies on the dollar and release a mini box set of each album containing the original and re-recorded version. The music should have been sold to her from the get go.
