👍👍👍👍 I really appreciate the great design and would like to print it and give feedback to you. Do you share the missing parts like the chain stitch hook? How about the 3d models, maybe in step format?
Most of the files are on thingiverse (thing 5427892) or printables (model 238160) apart from the chain hook. We're all waiting hopefully for that to be released.
Love your work!! Is the model on Printables updated with these improvements? I've got my printers set up now and this looks like such an awesome project
Could this be printed using a metal 3D printer for using on real sewing projects? And could the machine be flipped for use by right-handed users? Traditional sewing machines are set up for left-handed sewers.
That would be a good idea with the metal printer. But I think that the machine will then be very expensive. Theoretically, you could also design the machine the other way around. One would have to mirror all parts.
@@FraensEngineering So, besides the acrylic base being changed to a metal or wood base, the acrylic could stay the same. I would love a machine that was right-handed.
you can make bigger empty parts and fill them with glued sand, that would give vibration damping and compresion strength, also you could upcycle metal profiles used in windows, bikes, etc that would keep creep deformation
Congratulations. Design simple and reliable for a 3D printed machine
Thank you for this nice comment!
@@FraensEngineering thank you for sharing your projects 👍
Marvelous engineering
Another awesome upgrade would be unattended stitching for patch creation with e.g. Ink/Stitch.
Very impressive!
Many Thanks!
Whow ich hab noch nie eine Nähmaschine gesehen die ohne Unterfaden funktioniert
the parts should be castable, yes?
I haven't tried it, but it should work. Would be very curious about this machine. Maybe you can send me pictures of it.

Hi, I'm glad you liked my projects. As soon as I find time I will update the files.

At the moment I am very limited in time. I am planning to publish a project on Kickstarter. Maybe I'll redesign the machine for right-handers one day.
Really cool. I have an idea needing a zig zag stitch. pls advise if you have done any thoughts about that.

Woooa 😮👏👏
Unglaublich!
Vielen Dank! Dies ist einer meiner Lieblingsprojekte.

Can u make it more simplest verson? ayy
I don't think you can simplify it any more.
simplest version, minimum parts.
