Top quality from Softube! Been playing Marshall and Engl for years and this plugin nails it. One big plus for Amp Room is that you can buy different amps and cabs and use them in the same plugin which is nice Also cool that they included Engl cabs. Always liked how they sound, they deserve some recognition. Cheers! 🍻
Thanks for posting these, I recently got the softube metal suite after watching one of your older videos (still rocks), but sure looks like Softube isn't standing still.
One question: You say that you prefer analog gear for the feel and lack of latency however if you play through audio interface and studio monitors, and you don`t monitor through a cab, in theory there should be latency, as the analog signal is converted to digital. So what do you think is the difference playing with amps (no cab in the room): latency is very low or something with the attack maybe?
Real deal is always a real deal and my audio interface is really fast thunderbolt one so the latency is pretty much non-existent. And if I record so that I monitor directly from the interface before AD conversion there’s none. It’s like driving a real Mustang GT vs playing a Mustang GT computer game. Can’t really compare 😁.
I just listened to the song and noodling. Its rather tough to make an opinion through a video, but how do you say it compares vs your marshall amps or 5150 through loadbox?
So I just downloaded the trial to give this a go. I noticed that I have to have my DAW open and can't just use this as a standalone app... am I doing something wrong? or is that just how it is.
@dryzd thanks dude! Good thing I just did the trail then. It seems like a really great tool. I primarily use a Kemper but sometimes it's nice to have to pluggin options. My go to right now is the Bogren MLC and it looks like it will stay that way!
My best friend bought for me the Softube Amp Room Marshall suite 2 days ago. It sounds awesome! I had the Silver Jubilee plug in from buying the Focusrite interface but it never sounded right. Now it works much better! Only complaint is it doesn't let me use the JCM800 separate from the Amp Room. I can use all the other amps in the Marshall suite outside of the amp room but the 800 isn't listed.. Is that normal?
Hey! Stefan from Softube here. Glad to hear you like Amp Room! The JCM800 was never released as a standalone plugin, it was originally in the first version of Amp Room, then it became part of the Metal and Marshall suite. Hope this helps!
@@jeffallen3382We know, we know! It's a mix of license checks and loading all the sub-plugins in the Amp Room plugin. We've have made great progress with this though in the past months and there will be an update soon that will cut loading times immensely.
Hi Euge, i’m a huge fan of your channel and love your tutorials and also your reviews of the latest software and hardware. I've learnt a lot from your mixing tricks. Great! I also often find the Softtube stuff very successful. Only this time, to be honest, i’m a little disappointed. I have an Engl Savage 120 MK2 myself, which is an absolute monster next to my various other amps. Unfortunately, the plugin doesn't even come close. It somehow sounds totally dull, undifferentiated and lifeless. And the speaker simulation really doesn't make it any better. Listen to Ola's or Jon's UA-cam reviews of the original, for example. You'll be blown away. Sorry Softube, you can do much better. Just my 2 cents
i also own both Savage 120 & 60 MK2 and even if Softube did a very good call on this one, I was a little confused when I tried the plugin and compared it to the originals. And i 100% agree with the cab section... it doesn't make it any better XD
Great playing, as always, and great plug-in! But instead of 60W Savage they could add Fireball, Powerball II or E670 SE FE… there’s never too much ENGL’s 😉
Sounds fire brother.....but id rather be able to afford the real deal..i live in th country cant get internet..just...phone a little bit....so.. never have bought any of these computer thingy majigs...but in the original days only needed amo..guitar and cabinet and a few pedals...but i love your playing...your awesome and rock n roll
@@JohnWikuYah some products including amp sims are moving away from iLok. My gut feel is they may be losing more potential customers than revenue lost to cracks.
come to really understand, all this digital crap is just that....crap! Super noisy, no 'feel', no soul, the latency is a joke! Will never think of this digital crap as anything but HOT garbage!
Euge is a Huge talent producing quality content. 🔊

Best sounding tone on yt! Euge makes anything sound awesome
Thanks!
Amazing! Softube have the best amp sims and cabinet out there by far.
softube has done great! I love the amproom. this engl version sounds great.
🤟
Awesome as always. Thanks again Euge. My favorite guitar oriented UA-cam channel ;-)
Thanks!

Glad you like them! Thanks!
Woooohaa, that sounds really so damn close to real Savage 120 MKll and that together with your playing is amazing🤘
Thanks!
I KNEW you would have this up! Nice job - I will be getting this as well
🤟
Its Warmness sounds really good, full… it’s suitable for down tuning songs !!

So good, love those tones 🔥
Thanks 🔥
Looks like Brainworx Savage has a competitor now!
Engl vs Marshall Softube amp room battle!🥋🥊⚒️⚔️
Sounds great, might have to try this out!
And just so you are aware, suite is pronounced like sweet lol :)
I know 😁.

How does this compare against the Brainworx plug-in?

Not even close
Sounds like ENGL and those two sound like…well…😎

Great tone. I think Amp room is a little bit underrated software😕.
Thanks!
@@EugeValovirta230V Can you tell me if there is a difference in the sound with di-box or connecting guitar directly to the audio interface?
