- The Behringer Wing mixing console is a fully digital console with a touch screen and the benefit of a classic fader style interface as well. What's nearly unbelievable about this console is the ability to use a wide variety of compressors on EVERY channel. In the old days of studio music mixing nobody could have afforded to do what this awesome little box does.

This is a very cool video. The big thing I noticed on the Wing is that they really did a good job of making everything sound much smoother. The reverbs are smoother, the compressors and so on.

Wave designer is great on Kick drum

The EVEN compressor is a Neve 33609, not Eventide. Also the 1176 is not tube, the crunch comes from being FET based 🙂
Your voice is coming out very funny like your almost singing in a way like your carrying out a note I don’t know if u noticed it when u went over your video but it really stands out just so u know
the sound of the mic is so bright that it hurts my ears even at low levels
The hardware blackface Urei 1176 is an FET compressor not tube.
The wave designer is a transient shaper based on the old SPL rack unit.
the RED is a Focusrite emu, and the Even is a Neve 33609 emulation
wave designer would be more like a transient shaper, you can add attack or decay on drums for instance
I was lucky enough to ask to the development team of the wing and the compressors are recreation of the originals units without transformer distortion or spectrum reduction. its basically like the perfection version of those units ( respecting the schematic design only )
PS : the Even is a Neve 33609 clone
The Red sounded more sibilant to me, as did the 9000.
Sounds like a warble effect added to your voice. Whats up with that?
