When you wash them, they are much more prone to molding or just going bad in general, so i wouldn't recommend washing them all at once long before you consume them.
@@omniummysterio as someone who gardens and grows their own vegetables, no! At least not that i’ve noticed. Your sink is pretty cool. I bought, what I think are some of the best grapes I've ever had. I soaked them to clean them. The process was fine but not nearly as cool as how you prepped those blueberries.
I've started drinking herbal tea.to help with some health issues, and I add a quarter cup of blueberries to my cup before I add the hot water... it adds more antioxidants, AND a lovely subtle sweetness!
@@IMChrysalis Oh, that’s interesting! I never thought about adding fruit to my tea, I usually just add honey. I’mma try it out though, because that sounds good!
Don’t wash your berries until you’re ready to use them. They will mold faster that way. My stepfather used to have a you pick strawberry farm. So I learned this from him.
I was thinking this too. Learned my lesson from making the mistake with strawberries. It seems this person froze the berries so maybe washing them was okay. Fruit lasts longer frozen though I’m not personally in the habit of buying fresh and freezing.
Unless the fruit is in-season, it's actually healthier to eat frozen fruit. Fresh fruit is picked before it is ripe so it can survive the trip to grocery stores while frozen fruit is picked at peak ripeness and frozen immediately.
I totally agree about washing them before you eat them. You can wash them to freeze them but not if you want them to last in the fridge. The berries were big and beautiful. They are really good to prevent and clear up brain fog.
After trying to search the comments answering what the gadget of the white strainer with the bin underneath is called I could not find it! After too much time trying to find even something familiar I found the key words, "Rinse and Soak 2 set bins."
Out of desperation not to waste them AGAIN, I tossed a container of them in the freezer. . .no washing or anything. I used them handful by handful in baking for MONTHS. DID wash them at that point. If you're adding them in a box mix, toss them first in a bit of the dry mix before adding to the batter (by gently folding them in last minute) to keep them from sinking to the bottom of the loaf pan or whatever.
Good idea I need to but some silicone bags for the freezer takes up less room. I like to buy in bulk too, clean with white vinegar to get the dirt off. They literally taste the same fresh to make smoothie with.
That smoothie looked Delicious! Great idea and you can freeze all those blueberries 🫐 so you can make your favorite deserts, breakfast, smoothies, or just eat um frozen as a snack!!
The way you put the fruits in the container, exactly what I do to not contaminate my fruits and this is very satisfying to watch someone else doing it. It makes me crazy when I see people with their dirty hands pick a fruit and eat it straight up from a store.
I hated blueberries until I had farmers market blueberries. I was seriously missing out, I’ve never had any store bought blueberries that were actually sweet
I work in a big farm in morocco as a supervisor of the water department We produce blueberries and raspberries for international shipping And one advice for me to y'all is to always wash blueberries before eating them
A spoonful of peanut butter and spoonful of PLAIN yogurt (not vanilla-flavored) is sooooo good in fruit smoothies. Takes them over-the-top. This one looks yummy, too.
Guys freeze them then make blueberry muffins with whole wheat flour, brown sugar, butter, yogurt an egg and almond milk So delicious and a healthy breakfast for kids
Freeze them, then eat them! THEYRE SOOO GOOD LIKE THAT
Ik I had them yesterday and they’re soooo good
They taste way better just fresh but that's just me
@@mh20162for reallll

Thanks! 😊

That’s why she added white vinegar thou? I find that makes the biggest difference when keeping soft fruit fresh for as long as possible.
True..I don’t wash my strawberries right away anymore and they last much longer.
It will be on frozen freezer

Do tell us please what you put in the smoothie it looks very delicious indeed MashaAllah
What did I do with 12lb of blueberries - washed 11.5lb and put the rest in a smoothie. So revolutionary... How did you come up with that?
Should puree them and freeze them in ice cube tray. Then use in smoothies.
Absolutely don't wash them before you store them. They mold faster that way.
Is that a Kohler sink? I want to have one like that in my house!
