I have to respectfully disagree with you. 6:40 "prices of bitcoin were pretty similar", 7:20"price of ETH for FTX creditors was a lot higher". When running the number BTC was actually 17.8% higher for FTX than Celsuis whereas ETH was only 15.6% higher for FTX customers than Celsius customers. Although we all got hosed whether you got Mashinsky'd or SBF'd, some just took it in the Alex-hole a bit more than others.

For example, 10,000 (your funds ) * 118% = 11 800 * 30% = 8 260 You'll get your hands on it, it's even less than your initial deposit of 10,000. Clawbacks are almost impossible to enforce overseas. USA court clawback judgements don't apply outside of the USA. If you're not American and do not live in the USA or are unlikely to do so in the next five years, simply ignore the clawback demands. What are they going to do, get on a plane and come and get you? No, they're not. And even if they do, they'll have to work thru your local countries civil law procedures and your local judges will probably take umbrage of Americans trying to enforce their laws on local citizens and send those American lawyers home with a swift kick up the ass.

While FTX return is higher in %, BTC has pumped ~300% since their petition (vs. Celsius where BTC increased just over double) which means it works out nearly the same at todays date. As BTC climbs, it's worse and worse for FTX creditors who wish to re-buy their BTC with their returned cash 'x' months in the future (who knows what BTC price will be when they get that cash...)

Are you not accounting for the value difference in BTC and ETH high points since customers got their crypto back? Any who sold at those highs def got more value than FTX who is just getting cash and would have to buy in at such a drastically higher point right now.... or worse even higher as this drags on.
