So many recent stories have revolved around the Webway. The Lion's Forest Walk ability is basically a personal webway. The Watchers in the Dark guarded the Ouroboros, a Webway-building machine. Vashtorr built Wyrmwood, a planet that can bore into the Webway, using the parts of an Old Ones Webway-building machine. Wyrmwood showed up from the Webway during the Pariah Nexus story. The pattern continues - so either they _are_ building up to the Khan's return, or they want us to _think_ they are.
The second path through the great rift is near the Attilan gate, the dawn of fire series mentions it in The Martyrs Tombs where a Fenrisian rogue trader finds it. (Also a bit where a Black Templars dreadnought with a massive sword start swatting some death guard... Worth a read)
I think they've been hinting at Armageddon for the last 3-4 editions... Between refreshing Orks, especially Gaz... Ragnar chasing Orks, now SW refresh. WE's and Angron... Bring the GK's, Steel Update and return of Yarrick all in one big narrative that makes sense vs piece meal stories..

Second phase of the Indomitus Crusade was launched through the Attilan gate discovered by Rogue Trader Katla Helvintr. It's how Dante was relieved on Baal.
as drukhari main, im seeing very very big changes in the aeldari sphere in the future. i have a feeling the yannari arc is going to make some big shifts coming up and i think its coming with the drukhari refresh. weve got all the phoenix lords, fulgrim with a crone sword, vashtor bringing a chaos planet in to the webway, girlie man and his deadelf girlfriend. Vect isnt going to sit idly by while chaos gets a foothold in the webway.
Vulkan coming back seems more plausible now that you mention it! Convient the next edition pertains to the orks and a new wagh, considering the relation with Vulkan. Could be an awesome segway into Salamanders getting more narrative lore in search for the remaining artefacts. Maybe the last of the artefacts are on Armageddon and/or brought there in a God Emporer fate aligned type deal. Also, still a personal theory, but I think the energies of the Wagh from Gork and Mork after the fight with the Beast, were imbeded into Vulkans dna and we could see a different version of him. The contrast and comparisons of Vulkan and Orks would be a very interesting clash
@@srchubz We already know Russ is almost confirmed for 10th ed, but Im already thinking of the back half of 11th ed and not the transition from 10th to 11th

I really thought they were going to be the next launch faction but I guess Orks are all but confirmed. Maybe the 12th ed launch we see Drukhari, which then ties in the Khan as well for late 11th, similar to the Space Wolves, Russ and Ork segway into 11th from 10th. Vulkan I do agree is really back pocket save for GW but I do think he will have a very grand entrance that probably will pertain to the Throne
@@foreverfornever1124 my personal thoughts are that the Orks + SW, especially given the start of the "Wolftime" Dawn of Fire series, and given the Armageddon talk... Russ comes back via warp/space hulk/etc. to launch 11th. I think also since the warp's involved the Custodes will get linked in some manner, which leads to Drukhari/White Scars + Khan
Commorragh is pronounced like 'comm-or-ah' (also said as 'comm-or-ach' much like a Germanic or Hewbrew sort of throaty sound), as it's another 40k less-than-subtle tip of the hat to the story of Sodom and Gommorrah. Also, keep in mind a rather minor new Sororitas book actually had an Imperial ship successfully breech the Tear in order to recover The Praesidium Protectiva from the hands of Chaos, though it came at a great cost.
I commented on a previous video that I was thinking the next Chapter Approved might move to Vigilus (since we're in Pariah Nexus now) to give an update there. It'd also tie in nicely with releasing the four aspected chaos space marine factions and binding the demons to them.

I’ve already drafted half a dozen potential entries for the BL submission! But you’re half right Valrak, usually BL open submissions happen when writers reach the end of their contracts with GW and have chosen not to renew them, but also when GW are planning the next stage of story progression in one of their IP, if I remember correctly. They also don’t really hire a lot of writers except through Open Submisions which is also kind of a form of promotion for the company. They aren’t seeking out writers, they’re making writers come to them. The submission conditions themselves are incredibly harsh too, kind of as a trial by fire for new writers, to see their knowledge, writing style, and efficiency with such a small word count. Sorry for the word salad, but I felt I had some interesting stuff to say on the topic haha
6:07 From a business standpoint and a player standpoint these are both important and awesome ideas if GW is pushing in that direction. More representation for other markets is awesome since that will get more money which hopefully will be put towards making the game more fun. I hope if they are trying to appeal to other markets like Asia I hope they figure out how to make it easier to get in those countries! I keep hearing that it’s very hard to get warhammer in Japan and that sucks cause everyone should get to play!
Of course Chaos will win the Nachmund Gauntlet. You have Guilliman returned, the Lion returned, both intentionally ignoring probably the most crucial lifeline between the two halves of the Imperium. Why do they do it? Why, it's Failron Shitski-Cuntden, of course! Of all the exceptional writers that have graced the Black Library with their talent, GW had to choose the worst of the worse. It's spectacular how this guy managed to fail upwards, absolutely incredible.
I have been hoping for years that since the great rift opened, it would effect the webway and let loose the Khan but also the Eldar he was chasing. Great for a Dark Eldar range refresh alongside white scars and then the Khan is back to give Xenos and Chaos a headache.
hahah that foil edit. but seriously, this could be something really interesting! If someone is better at writing than me, let's get a good resolution for Gabriel Seth. Ok i came up with a decent theory based on the info you provided about the Dark Eldar seeking assistance from the Imperium. I think they are ramping up the Chaos stuff because they are going to set up a scenario where the Imperium, the Eldar, the Dark Eldar, and of course the Tau probably and maybe even the Orks and you can bring in some of the Votann and stuff like that too if you like, could form an intergalactic alliance to beat back the forces of chaos, and then that sets up the perfect united defense force of the 2nd worst threat to the galaxy in my opinion: The tyranids. As at war all of these factions are, they all have been known to cooperate with each other when particularly facing these 2 other factions. I bet even the Necron could be convinced it is in their best interest to help as well.
GW is getting quite cute with how it picks up talent. I mean written submissions is a great way for them to filter for good writers to work with. Bit like how UA-cam filtered animation talent on their behalf. Hopefully it pays dividends for he fans.
As much as I'd love to see Russ and Dorn come back, I hope they do bring back the Khan and/or Vulkan next.
