I have one GoDaddy account. I'm billed for 3 sites hosted under economy linux and 1 with deluxe hosting. Can you confirm I need to cancel the hosting plans of the 3 before I can add them as secondary domains hosted under the deluxe hosting plan? Won't this delete all my files? Is there a later version of this excellent video using the current GoDaddy theme?

I do some freelance website design and was wandering if I would be able to offer web hosting to customers through the deluxe plan. I know the customer would not get access to the control panel etc but if I were to charge just a nominal fee my guess is that they would not mind. what do you think?
Ken serious help man. I followed each and every step u told. I have two domains. with one deluxe hosting account. i set up and installed wordpress on the 1st domain. everything is perfect. wordpress is installed and site hosted well. however i'm not able to add my 2nd domain on my primary hosting account. i understood untill the create folder section. But how do i get the files to transfer. how do i install worpdress on my 2nd domain and how to get my hands on its files. i'm a complete newbie..

you don't need an .asp file. follow the instructions on the video, and you'll be set up. you should be able to access each domain individually after that without any .asp files.
The main issue I can see with this strategy is that if you fail to renew or do not wish to renew your account on GoDaddy then all the sites on your account will go down. I'm pretty sure a client of yours won't be too happy about that. Also I wouldn't charge the client for hosting as they are not having their own account, they are sharing with others. Apart from that your idea seems fine; but I'd just be concerned with what GoDaddy's policy is with your strategy, if any.
i build sites with wordpress. i like it and it can do a lot. to tell you the truth, i've never tried joomla, and i've heard some people swear by it. i'm pretty good with wordpress, and i'm building a site right now so i can create WP sites for people. i'll tell you what... if your site is in wordpress, i'll have a quick look at it for you if you know what it is you wanna do. if it's something quick, i'll fix it free. if it's something more lengthy, i'll give you a fair price.
