All these new mechanics are wacky, it makes everyone from older smash games feel a little bit outdated. all the characters from late smash 4 and throughout ultimate have all these crazy gimmicks and unique meters and resources. mario just out here like “yeeha”

I suspect if say Dr Mario were added nowadays he would also have more fun, using a mix of viruses and pills (similar to pac man using ghosts for attacks). a lot of new characters pull out tons of references to source material while things like those examples could have been different, donkey kong could probably use barrels, a new BotW Link would probably incorporate weapons similar to Byleth but is instead cursed with his old moveset, etc

Piranha Plant changes colors during a couple of it's attacks, also. When you're charging up the poison breath, it takes on an orange and red color, and also when you use the poison breath attack. and when you use I think a forward smash, it becomes a darker shade of purple than the costume purple, and spiky.

Dante is canon in SMT, and Persona is canon in SMT, Joker from P5 is canon in Smash and so are a lot of DQ heroes, therefore Dante is canon in DQ

The blue, yellow, and red alts can also be used to represent the enemy difficulty as well. Blue enemies are weaker then you, yellow enemies are the same strength as you, and red enemies are stronger then you.

Carlos there’s no way the white outfit is based on Yusuke, there’s no red on Yusukes outfit except small parts of the mask and the Akechi Joker has red and gold all over his outfit, but I can agree on the enemy level alts
