@@Diytravelshow I just realised visits are limited to three hours. So 5 drinks is lots. Thanks for the video. I should have said that three months ago. We are visiting the lounge in two days. Now I just have to figure out how to get a whisky at 10 am. (one or two should be fine.)
I disagree with your comment regarding tiping .. our minimum wage is more than enough here in Canada. Its crazy how in n. america, especially canada, tiping is still expected. I think we all should be advocating for all in pricing with a consistent level of service.
This is probably one of the best if not the best lounges in Canada. It's a shame that since the pandemic, Westjet has taken the reverse route to become a low cost carrier again and has lost their aspiration to become a full service premium carrier. I would not be surprised if this lounge loses its Westjet name and becomes a paid lounge that is operated by a third party provider in the near future.
@@Diytravelshow Elevation lounge is accessible for international pax (not transborder US), and, there is an international Plaza Lounge. WJ has a few European flights from YYC with business class that includes comp Elevation Lounge access. Fact Check before posting.
The lounge is free if you are flying WestJet business or have a status with them. Or else you can use Priority Pass or VISA or MasterCard Airport Companion.
If you don't have the status for free access, it's advertised at CAD$59+GST. Not bad when comparing it to one or more meals in an airport restaurant. Also, it's open from 5 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. MT (not overnight.)
Thank you for making this video
My pleasure!
Context! 5 drinks per guest for a 3 hour stay is more than enough. 5 drinks per guest for a 12 hour stay might not be enough.
Thanks for the input!

I respect your views on tipping, it is not mandatory, but I always express my personal preference in my views including tipping

It's already a paid lounge accessible by Dragon Pass
