This was my late grandmother’s favorite hymn. I think because her name was Mary. Every time I hear this song I remember her warm smile and loving embrace and that brings me to tears. RIP Grandma!
This was also my late grandmother’s favorite song. She died recently. I actually sang it for her many times.
When the world is burning and rioting just listen to this and you realize there is hope in this world.

This was just playing along in my playlist without me watching it. I never realized how similar your voice is to Lexi W's, at times (definitely intended to be a compliment, hope you take it that way, her vocal work is another I really enjoy). Gorgeous. The simplicity of the musical setting here really rings true. The stillness is very appropriate. Obviously Chris thinks this is one that doesn't need massaging, as do I. On the OTHER hand, neither does Take Five, and what he did with that...gives me chill bumps EVERY time I watch it.

On pitch... But here's a constructive criticism: Incorrect pronounciation of latin words because of your germanic linguistic background (english). Excluding english, I personally speak french and spanish, french being my mother tongue. And the germanic pronounciation of Schubert's Ave Maria sound SO weird to my ears! lol I recommend listening to italians or spanish people singing (french not so much in comparison) to get the correct phonetics for latin based lyrics. Keep it up guys! Good work! You HAD it in the beginning, then you stopped rolling those ''R'' with your tongue. RRRRRR! lol
Alexandre - Do you think they should tackle Rachmaninoff's "Bogoroditse Devo Raduisya"? No Latin there; it's in Church Slavonic. Just don't call it "Rachmaninoff's Ave Maria," or you'll never hear the end of it.
