I feel like everyone is trying to compensate for the fact that you can't windbomb anymore by solving shrines in the most unintended ways possible, and I absolutely love it
But you can sort of windbomb, you just gotta have timed bombs 😳

I know you probably figured this out, but in the depths, lynels are under stables. Lightroots are under shrines, bargainer statues are under goddess statues, and under every major town is an abandoned mine.

I find it impressive that in a game where it's so easy to get stuff like hearts, food and arrows, Quin somehow manages to run out of all of them, simultaneously, at all times.

My favorite part is how Quin solves each puzzle the worst was possible, he makes it so difficult for him self and it’s the funniest thing ever
Quin’s Steward voice is the best. I don’t think I read NPC voices differently in my head, but Quin does and it’s awesome.

That being said, there are so many games out there that I do want to play others. I’ve been doing TotK for the last few weeks by itself, but I need to go back and beat FFVII for instance, play something like Control or Deathloop, or hell, even God of War 2018.

I'm here SOLELY for the way Quin solves puzzles. It I want to see it done the "right" way there's a billion others to watch, or I'll do it myself. Creative content, I live for it!
Quin has one strategy for shrines that he will forcefully make work even when there's much easier ways, you have to admire stubbornness like that
Idk why, but the way you talk makes me smile uncontrollably. You narrate my thoughts, and I imagine link with the bokoblin mask and fire proof armor as the devil on my shoulder (with your voice still)
Yo quin, hot tip for you - if you give a badly damaged weapon to a rock octorok in death mountain it'll heal it fully - it's once per weapon, once per octorok, once per blood moon, but it has the chance to give you a random status boost too

Yeah, and if you reverse time on the weapon just before it gets eaten, the game will glitch and give you a duplicate weapon. Which i totally never used to clone infinite Lynel bows.
But it got patched with today's update anyway, so....
quin just saying if you give a weapon you got from a quest or chest or something like the fierce deity sword it wont work

I finished the game last night and my first thought was “I am so excited to watch Quin do this!” It’s so good dude

Seeing that his pockets aren’t burning with enough potential energy to charge an atom bomb, Quin decides that he will take what he learned from yesterday’s Depths expedition and search for even more Lights of Blessing. His feud with the Goddess Hylia continues-as She proves deaf to Princess Zelda’s devotion-leaving him with no option but to actively ignore Rauru’s many blessings. Instead, he will collect them as if they were funny seeds or peculiar gems, much to the Comment Section’s chagrin. As karmic retribution for his blasphemy, not only is Quin tormented by an eternal storm wherever he walks, but his infinitely large IQ is suddenly stumped within the bounds of Rauru’s many shrines. The solutions range from “climb boxes” to “copy a pattern on the ceiling,” but still Quin’s two brain cells are _being difficult._ (They scream, but it’s in French and we’re having trouble with the translation.) *Thus concludes our (mis)adventures for today!*

Fun fact - the guy you saved in the monster camp inside the mountain is the same guy who was obsessed with the blood moon in BotW. Whenever I've talked to him in this game it's also always triggered a blood moon for me too
He always told me the moons status but I only ever had a blood moon once after rescuing him

Shrines are One of the best parts of the game. I completed all the shrines a little while ago and it was some of the most fun I’ve had playing the game. I can’t wait to see Quin solve them 10 times faster!
There’s an absolutely amazing shrine on one of the sky labyrinths. You’ll know which one I’m talking about when you get to it.
The anti gravity driving one?
If Quin would go find that one breakable wall on the side of the great plateau he’d figure out why the temple statue keeps taking about being under water. I’m excited for that side quest and him finding the ending.
I've gone ahead and done all the shrines. And there's a few that I can't wait to see Quin do, the braincells gonna scream.

I am always so impressed by the creative solutions he comes up with to shrines. Because I truly was NOT expecting the tiny ice cube elevator OR the spinning cube trick.

also quin: walks right past all the boxes without smashing them (the arrows are in there!!)
but on the other hand it is very entertaining to watch him fighting enemies with everything else, using his tremendously huge brain to come up with alternative ways to deal damage
Yeah, there are about a zillion (literally a zillion, and shut up I know it’s not a real number lol) says to get arrows in this game.
I play in such a more covetous way than Quin does.
I want as much of everything as possible at all times just to cover my bases.
@@chambeet saaaaame my inventory is ridiculously well stocked and if there are less than 100 arrows I get nervous and go buy a bunch keeping hyrules economy intact single handedly. sometimes I feel like having everything at hand at all times makes the game a bit too "easy" at times....

I love how Quin handles puzzles in such a smooth-brained way that it revolves right back around to crumpling up his mind and making it wrinkly again so he can solve the shrines; classic ^w^

10:11 I loved this shrine. My perpetual habit of looking up at the ceiling when I first entered a shrine finally paid off.
I have to say, for as unconventional as Quin's methods of combat are, he's surprisingly skilled. It's no wonder he's one of the three people who likes chasing the Sages around; the man thrives on chaos.
_(Overall I enjoy having the Sages around, but big men like Sidon & Yunobo take up a little too much camera space for me. Usually they're in time out til they're needed, just because they're too damn tall & I'm too damn small. Unfortunately relatable.)_

Favourite shrine in the game I’ve found so far is probably Jenga.

I don’t get mad at the way you try to solve shrines because you’re thinking creatively outside the box, looking for your own way to do it. It’s the best, really, & I enjoy watching your brain scream. I think you have a ton of fun & that’s the point. Never change!
So far one of my favorite shrines was the one where you had to build different things to ride the rollercoaster rails. And I also really liked the one where you had to hit the targets.

As well as the lightroots in the depths being in the same spots as the shrines in hyrule, the names of the lightroots are the same as the shrines, but backwards, it's just a cool little detail I like

Ah yes, shrine screaming, my favorite pastime. I did that with the shrine where you had to form the cube with the blocks. Suffice to say it went quite well. 👌

Just as a tip, any NPC with names such as: Traveler, Researcher, Fashionable Person, etc. are always going to be Yiga clan members in disguise.
Every day is a good day when Quin posts a video. I'm definitely looking forward to any Korok hunting videos ya might do. Also, break any chests ya see. That's where I've been getting the majority of my arrows. Just lift em up and drop em with Ultrahand. Keeps durability on yer weapons from going down lol
Shrines are very fun and I adore the fact that you marked them with hearts! I like all the ways one can solve the shrines, like the spinning crate! I don't have a favourite shrine yet but I do like the target ones or the ones you can scream and bash things with
Great video Quin, those Gloom hands never stood a chance, they’re lucky you didn’t fight them, for their demise would not have been so certain if you did.
In case you dont know, breakable rocks have the same hierarchy as enemies. They get harder to break fre red, to blue, to black, and just take more hits to get through. Hammers, yunobo, riju, mineru, bombs...all the usual methods work -- you just need to do them more on tougher rocks

My favorite is way high up in the sky just east of dueling peaks. There's something that looks like a big smoke stack/dead tree. SUPER FUN

Quin has so quickly became my favorite youtuber, i remember watching his first totk video and have been excited everytime a notif pops up that he posted, i could watch him all day
My favorite shrines have been the Proving Grounds ones. They’re like the tests of strength, but they added the Trial of the Sword mechanic where it takes all of your gear and you have to start fresh. Challenging and fun!
