- The Hart Cemetery and Flat Rock Cemetery have slowly been surrounded by the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta.

you should look over were interstate 20 and 285 North cross at. At one time it was a battlefield and a Confederate graveyard tossed in trenches and covered up... When they built the interstate they just looked over it and kept on building, relic hunter,s with metal detector to this day still recovering old button n other item,s

BWI outside of Baltimore surrounds Friendship Cemetery hence the airport's original name "Friendship Field" as seen in Goldfinger

One of the unique features of Hartfield Jackson is that it's where the army sends a lot of newly enlisted soldiers on their way to basic training down at Fort Benning; as such if you happen to ever be stuck at this airport and want to kill time; hang out in the central area behind the check in desks and near the restraunts; if you are lucky you might get to see a group of Drill Sergeants picking up a new set of recruits which assuming the army is still fun can be QUITE THE SHOW 🤣
