Wow! You are deff underrated!! I've watched many videos and this one was the one that helped and educated me the most with no confusion or questions! Keep doing what you do, you rock girl!
Great video. I always admire all the people who have their thread stored out in the open on wall racks. Not an option for us in the desert SW. Everything is covered as there will be mountains of dust in no time. Like you I leave the needle size I’m sewing with next to the machine so I know what’s in there. My Babylock Imagine does not need a special serger needle and I love it for air threading. Just got back from a tune up and she’s never let me down. Neither have my beloved Bernina’s. Love Gutterman and Wawak. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄❤️🌵
Another great informative video. You know how much I appreciate it as I was practically in tears recently before my thread and needles were causing all sorts of issues. This is a great reference!
Great info! I too store my thread away from the sunlight and dust! Love Schmetz Needles!! I did learn something though about the size 14 needle in the serger for coverstitching! I need to use up my threads before switching to Gutterman from Wawak. Have you ever used the Maxi lock Stretch wooly threads for rolled hems? I did have a problem with one spool of wooly nylon but it wasn't Maxi Lock.
I know about Maxi Lock Stretch but I have so very many tools of Willy nylon that I couldn’t use that up in my lifetime so I’ve never bought the stretch thread. The only time I use stretch thread is for rolled hems which I don’t use that often.
This is such a helpful video! Is the Mara thread like the all purpose version at Joanns? Do you use it both in your sewing machine and cover stitch? Thank you!
Thank you Jen. I am so pleased you’ve found it helpful. The Mara 100 thread is 100% polyester thread. It is far superior than the thread at JA In my opinion. I use it in my sewing machine only. I use Maxi Lock in my serger and my coverstitch
@@sewjourns7128 thank you! I plan on doing the same when my cover stitch gets here. I’ll add some Mara to my next Wawak order. Definitely tired of the price of the thread I was getting at Joanns!

Thank you for your valuable tips. Especially where you purchase the thread and supplies through Wawakcom.
Great tutorial! Thanks Chris 👍😁

I understand the frustration and as always I love knowing I can somehow help.
