What a great technique - thank you! Do you have any suggestions if the thread breaks when you are turning the tube or is it easier just to scrap it and start over?
If the thread breaks and you are at least half way through a long draw cord I have inserted my serger tweezers or hemostats and grabbed the fabric and was able to pull it through.
Sure a three thread will work. Just remember that a three thread overlock is not as sturdy as a 4 thread so just turn it gently and you’ll be fine. It’s such a time saver. Turning tubes is my nemesis. 😜
Hi Marsha, the trim catcher is made by a 3D printer. I’m out today but I’ll get the woman’s contact info for you in a day or two and you can order one.
@@marsha11neeriemer90 the woman I bought the thread catcher from I found on the Facebook page called BabyLock Buy/Sell/Trade and Chat. Her name is Kathy Zaso Schulz. You can join that group then search for her name and contact her from there.
Thank you 👍
Chris, thank you for a great tutorial and for the source for aglets.
Hi Laura, my pleasure. Happy sewing.
Thanks so much!
Great video! I’m a new subscriber.
This is brilliant thank you so much.
You are most welcome.
Great demo
Thanks. I’m very happy you found it helpful.
You can also do that with yarn and regular sewing machine.

Wow- this is game changing! Would a 3 thread stitch work or does it require 4 thread?
