Premiere of "Songs for Peace" with the SIU Jazz Ensemble

"Songs for Peace" is an instrumental suite I composed for my student's Spring recital. It is inspired by members of our Carbondale-Illinois community, the unsung heroes that through acts of kindness and generosity make our town a better place to be in.
To my students I say to continue in the pursuit of excellence, knowledge and self perfection. You are being equipped to forge a better world than that which you have inherited.
