We really are JUST beguinning with the JoJoLands. We really are beguinning a brand new journey, and we haven't scratched the surface. Strange to think that the first time in 40 years, the anime might actually catch up to the manga.
I just realized the enemy had to also mimic Paco's voice, if Jodio fell for the disguise. Araki, explain!
Just like how Iggy (a dog) mimics dios voice in part 3
that was not mimicking it was only voice for a split second from petshop sandclone of dio it wasnt accurate voice but it was sudden thats why vanilla looked at the clone and then saw that it was dio for a little bit which was debunked by vanilla himself@@EXFrost

@@pinkzero281 false. He only realises its Dio when he realises hes standing near day light. Nothing to do with the voice. Besides his voice in the anime IS Dio's voice and nothing in the manga implies it doesnt sound like Dio's voice

This was such a cool chapter pretty much the whole thing was a fight and this dudes stand is really cool definitely some great artwork for it. Paco has been awesome so far can’t wait to see if they actually get this guy to join them. Jodio holding the enemy underwater reminds me of the I am a rock fight on part 8 also which was great he really breathed in bubbles from the raft like it’s a video game
Breathing in bubbles like that is a thing. When you are getting your preliminary SCUBA diving certificate, one of the skills you need to demonstrate is pretty much what Jodio did. Just replace the raft with your mouthpiece going haywire and releasing a lot of air.
This also reminds me of Jonathan inhaling air trapped under some rocks during the Blueford fight.

I think dragona's stand just became a whole lot more overpowered. not only as a healer
but as an attacker Imagine them just punching a hole in paper and donuting the enemy.
Same thing for Usagi's stand Imagine someone just asking for a loaded ak47 or even a smoke bomb or car or nuke or even the requiem arrow or stand arrow

Until further usage of the Matte Kudasai, the stand has been stated to only make defective products. The camera it first duplicates shows a completely different version of the gang as it cant completely replicate their features. Every gun and bomb is likely to misfire or shoot the wrong kind of bullets/explosion. I look forward to the useful applications of this "weakness"
But wouldnt it take like 10 seconds of the enemy doing nothing and allowing smooth operaters to transfer the damage to actually work like you described

paco seems like the leader who is a musclehead but also can figure out things on the fly, I love it. This might be my favorite cast in jojo YET
nice analysis as always, but im pretty sure sand dude is basically just using metallicas camouflage. it might also be one of the mechanisms effect that ha tht lady leave the scene to make it easier to let the watch ecape
I dont understand why they keep talking about him "fusing to things". The cat potato thing clearly shows hes just using the sand and/or stand to create illusions. Idk why this confusing "fusion" terminology is being used.

Just from this chapter alone, i am feeling very confident that the kind of “particle manipulation” ability i mentioned last month could be what we are seeing from this arcs stand user.
The way he seemingly fused with the environment and still fragmenting like sand when in contact with Jodio and the group.
And if the speculation is correct and this guy could just be a rock human of sorts, maybe a Hawaiian Lava-Rock Human who is trying to take the lava rock back for someone.

That title has to be on porpouse, i cant wait for it to be thursday tho, (also it clicked on me like a month a go that both stories, the ninth of their respective series happen in honolulu, its kind of scary)
Just recently beaten LAD8 and I loved the game so much and was one of those games I would play all day saying I’d keep doing the story mission but end up doing some random side quests or doing the Sujimon quests and exploring the underground dungeons for better loot as deep down I didn’t want to beat the game and end the story there so I tried to delay the inevitable but ended it in a satisfying conclusion that I can’t wait to see how RGG will cook with LAD 9 or will we get a new Judgement game or hopefully a remake (hint hint Dead Souls or Kenzan or maybe just maybe even kurohyou? Sega please I beg of you) but you know once the next game drops I’ll also drop off the face of the earth to play it

We've already seen the lava rock works through the actions of people. Maybe it's doing something similar here. Maybe the most valuable thing to the squad right now is an ally who knows about the rock, and that's why it attracted someone and why Paco wants him to join the gang.
Maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way.
I noticed that the sand particles were completely absent when the illusionist was totally submerged, so I think that's the main thing that's trapping him now. It's probably not too much of a stretch to say that his iridescent sand comes back the moment any part of him leaves the water, which would let him make that wave gambit he attacked Paco with.

Leo-kun's name might be a reference to a manga by Moto Hagio called Leo-Kun, that's about a cat. You rightfully pointed out in chapter 10's review that Araki was obsessed with cats so I don't think that's a coincidence

Any thought on why the style changed for Jodio's face while they were underwater? (6:09) I think it might be similar to the dark determination from part 7 but instead of Araki showing it with eyes like he did for Johnny he's showing it through a different art style for Jodio

i was liking usagi a lot but paco has cemented himself as my favorite the last two chapters, he is just so matter of fact and serious while being funny about it. it's awesome

I think the lava rock is the orb that the arrow is maks from and you wll ask why? Because they have the same Grivte or the lava rcok wll be something very Valuable as the requiem and that my opinion on the lava rock 👍

But seriously, this chapter was fantastic. The last two been very good. This Lava Rock owner been a thrill to see what he does because his camouflage is legit insane the way he just spends with everything. The part in the beach was very good, with him blending with the waves, He's like Solid Snake if Solid Snake could stay camouflaged all the time without nobody see him.
