Hey all, here is a day in my life as a second-year medical student. This was the day before my Musculoskeletal/Derm exam. Hope you guys like it!

Who am I:
My name is Zach. I'm a second-year medical student in Philadelphia. I make videos about medical school, entrepreneurship, and other cool things. I love trying new things and often mess up. However, every time I screw up I usually learn something. Whatever I learn I post either on UA-cam or my website 🌐 (zhighley.com/).

I watch your videos as well kharma medic, I watch Ali abdaals vids as well, they are all amazing and I hope you fulfil your ambitions and endeavours
The animation style is almost the same but I prefer kharma medics animation style and love the intro where you welcome everyone with the classic “welcome to another dose”. I am a first year medical student, I mean I was until I left Poland where I watched MA to MD vids and I had sent him an email regarding studies there and well it wasn’t exactly pleasant in the pandemic so we abandoned it there and I am rethinking to studying medicine in India, I mostly made a regrettable decision but it’s one that could not be helped due to family affairs.
Every premed and medical student needs to watch these videos so they understand the real commitment required to be successful. Your videos are amazing. Keep them coming.

I'm watching this right now, in 4th year/tenth grade, to see if going into the medical field, psychiatry, is right for me and tbh these vids make me even more excited. The work seems though but worth.
@@nia_m_h_2334 Being critical, this video does not show you anything specific about studying medicine. You can have this routine and lifestyle in any other career, so it is not something you should be guided by.
@@sebastianvega298 ? It shows you the most important aspect, how hard you work. Medical school doesnt care about how smart you are, if you don’t put in the work like Zach you’ll get nowhere. Seeing that is more important seeing someone scroll through anki all day

The first time I watched this video was last year. I was looking for some inspiration/ motivation to pass my medical admission test and I was very stressed and frustrated during that time. Now, one year later, I’m rewatching it but in a completely different mood, I passed the test and I’m so happy I chose to peruse this career ❤️. Thanks Zach, you helped me so much. Awesome video Zach. Could you please do a video on how to properly search for content in the Anking for non-US medical students? I know you mentioned in one of your videos how to look at tags and decide, but I'm having a hard time searching Anking for relevant cards. I hope this makes sense. Keep up the good work.
Hey, the best way to do it is to use a third-party resource (B&B, sketchy, pathoma) and then go to browse -> look at the sidebar -> and find that *tagged* third party resource. Then you just unsuspend those cards.
If you are unsure of school-specific content I would go to browse -> search in the search bar -> scroll down and then look at the tags -> one of those tags will usually be labeled to a third-party resource if you have trouble finding the content.
