The Besttttt !!! Much love to you bro !!! Im a med student from India .... much love from India !!
thank you!! all the best in your studies 🙏
@medschoolbro how many years have you left
I just discovered your channel. I teach first year college history classes to students who are often the first in their families to go to college and even more often have to balance work, family, and school. PLEASE make a time management video that addresses general strategies whether in med school or any intense program! I think my students would appreciate it and maybe listen better to someone more their generation than me (Gen X).
I'm about to graduate medical school and was losing passion but this video and seeing how good you are motivated me a lot, thx ❤
Stay in there 🤗
Definitely would LOVVVVEEEEE a video on time management
I've got you!!
What a neat video! I found your channel because I was wondering what medical school was like since I have a handicapped son whose life represents a medical book.
Was a great and inspiring video!

I got into McGovern in Houston this cycle and I’m so excited to start in July(29th)!!!!! Any advice you can give to make sure I get the most out of my time at medical school? Especially where I have md Anderson and the whole Texas medical center in my back yard? Thank you for the great content!!

Oh youre in Brisbane and RBWH!
Almost done with my first year of med school. the amount of things we have to sacrifice?? 😅 please do a time management video!
Make a video on why you are opting for the usmle please
med bro - your videos are amazing. I am a first-year med student and have been feeling very extremely overwhelmed. I'm not really sure on how to study tbh, my study techniques for undergrad arent really working out. could you please make a video on ur study techniques? it'll help a girl out a lot!
You will get it in time i was horrible in anatomy 1and 2 but passed I also loved phlebotomy. I too am an aspiring med student without actually being in med school yet
I'm a qualified doctor from the UK and trained at a UK medical school in London quite some time ago! It's normal to feel overwhelmed, there's a lot to learn. The secret is to break into down into smaller chunks and 2nd to really get stuck in. That takes some doing, but once you immerse yourself the feeling of being overwhelmed will go, because you are actively engaging (rather than panicking as to where to start which can be unproductive and exhausting) and you're working to a plan (your bite size / manageable chunks). You will need to read and re-read stuff to make sense of things (that's normal too) to build foundations so that other things you learn will progressively fit together.
The secret is to unleash your passion for medicine and work hard. Then you will find that learning becomes fun and exhilarating and your confidence will grow - just as is clearly evident with med bro. Try different study techniques to find the ones that work for you. You can do it - you wouldn't have got a place at medical school if you didn't have the intellect, aptitude and motivation to succeed in medicine. When I was at med school many years ago I had a personal / pastoral tutor who I could turn to for support and I hope that still exists for you. I imagine and would hope that support structures for students have improved. There is no shame in seeking support and guidance if you are feeling 'very extremely overwhelmed' to the point where you need to ask for some help. Medicine is a caring profession and there will be tutors, profs and lecturers who are experienced in providing pastoral care.
And don't forget through the student health service you should have a GP who will have a lot of experience of supporting students as they are largely dealing with a student population and quite likely your tutors and professors too! I hope this may be of some help to you. I'm sure you will be following med bro's YT channel closely. I'm very impressed by his passion for medicine, commitment to working hard and his excellent YT content. I think he's probably in year 4 so don't be too daunted by his level of knowledge. You wouldn't expect to be as advanced as he is as a first year med student. Wishing you all the best.
Do you make your own Anki cards or use a pre-made deck?
Just curious, what specialty are you planning to take?
Please make a video on time management. 🙏
the visuals in this video ✨
👌👌
you should make a guide for USMLE Pharmacology and Microbiology
Love the video! I always look forward to your videos!
Calcium gluconate
You got it!!
I would suspect the use of calcium gluconate, furosemide if renal function is adequate, and hemodialysis in severe cases. Am I on the right track, @medschoolbro ?
Where can we find your study guides? Thanks!
Please make a vedio how to manage routine. Thanks 4 ur vedios . I'm in first Year and struggling how to mange the study routine along with health ..Ur vedios are source of energy and motivation.thanks alot once again.

Curious as to how / why you chose Queensland to study in?
Another day. Another dollar.😂
Med student from Namibia

Bag raid! That anki clicker is lit! 🔥
it's almost here 🔥
Are you living in Australia on a student visa? Would love to hear the story about how you came to Aus for med school
Inspiring videos
I would also say money. I would not be able to afford takeaway every single day. You had lunch and your dinner outside, I’d have to meal prep or eat at home. That also requires time (grocery shopping, cooking, prep, dishes)
Hey just wondering you did your MBBS,right? And currently you are in your internship?
By the way i am also a medical student, just completed my second year.
How did you get to the top?
🔥🔥🔥
Great video but my day in the hospital starts at 0430 for rounds at 0600! Yikes!
Can you please tell us about your medical journey?
Yes check out my intro to youtube video but Ill definitely do a deeper dive into this at some point :)
Which MacBook?
Your life looks very fulfilling to me! I have to admit that I envy you in a kind way. 😉 It seems that you have embarked in a great learning adventure and the work and organization you have put into making study guides and reference cards is very impressive.
I think that having visual explanations brings life and more enjoyment to studying in the medical field. I would definitely buy everything you have made if I was a med student. I am thinking about going back to school in engineering and I will be inspired by your dedication.
You are a handsome, smart young man and I wish you the best experiences and gratification for all your efforts and empathy towards helping people. I wonder if you have time to listen to podcasts. If you do, I suggest Lewis Howes! I also got a book recommendation by Jim Kwik called « Limitless », maybe you could find it interesting… Take care! ☺
Didn't mention what time you go to bed.
Brains & Beauty ❤❤❤
7:55 - Calcium Gluconate ?
If you can wait 90 minutes to drink coffee after you wake. Youll fall asleep much easier that evening. You Rock man !
never heard of this!! thanks for sharing
@@medschoolbro I enjoy the videos immensely. Here is a more detailed explanation: When you wake up, adenosine levels in your brain and body increase slightly. This uptick prepares your brain to be more receptive to caffeine's effects. Caffeine then blocks the receptors that adenosine uses to make you feel drowsy, keeping you alert and awake. If you drink coffee before the 90-minute mark, you might want to factor in an afternoon nap.
Calcium gluconate for MgSO4 toxicity
Calcium Gluconate is the antidote for MgSO4!

I don’t mean to offend anyone but with ai what is the point of forcing your brain to retain all this information??
I mean seriously, your dr house symptom to disease recognition is impressive but it’s really just a matter of time till I can get the same conclusion from an app if not now it will be developed soon, this has got to be the greatest problem our generation will ever face no???
