You can get a LOAD of brushes by deconstructing warpaint papers. I have more than I know what to do with and haven't had to make a single brush. Also, black blood can easily be created by deconstructing either failed sorcerous spell pages and sorcerous spell pages. If you have a sorcerer on your thaumaturgy table, you can keep churning out the pages to provide the blood. Time consuming, but a lot easier.
On the first cave where you get sorcery instead of going down and then climbing up. Use the spell you just got and cast ice bridge from the left of the table to get the chests on the other side

a few comments on how to I would improve the system. As it stands, the casting of spells takes a little too long having to navigate the floating stone "menu". Have Sorcerous Scepters (what we already have) that you can slot a spell on to. When you activate the scepter, it casts the spell placed into it immediately. Now for the new stuff, add a Sorcerous Staff. This acts as the scepter does now, it gives you access to all spells, but sacrifices expediency for range of spells. You can even make it a melee weapon with some cool sorcery attacks in melee, such as short range (melee range) bursts of flame, waves of darkness, etc. Channeling the staff would have you stand stoicly, planting the butt of the staff in the ground with your head bowed in concentration. Then the stones would appear for you to browse the spell menu. I would create a few more spells to really round out the usefulness of sorcery, because as it stands, you really only get utility out of it, and cant make it a full play style. + Living Lightning: Tendrils of sentient lightning squirm their way from your flesh and create a cloud of striking energy out to 15m in all directions. Creatures in the effected area receive periodic bursts of moderate stagger, and moderate damage as the lightning bolts arc into them. Visual effect should be very visible, but not obscuring. Costs a cloth bag + Essence of Vitality: Able to craft a potion that counteracts the effects of corruption on your stamina and health for an hour. Crafted at the Improved Alchemy bench (or better) for 2 soul essence, and 1 ritual blood flask. + Gout of Flame: A channeled spell that shoots a stream of fire out to 25m as a series of slow moving "fire balls". It costs a burlap bag to start but also deals 3 points of health damage per a second. the fires deals 15 damage per second to enemies. Each fireball upon making contact with an enemy imposes a soul flame status that does this 15 damage for 1 second. So you can miss a little and get the flame back on target without losing out on damage. + Gaze into the Abyss: A spell that allows you to increase corruption to a threshold of that you desire. for instance, you could be at 19% corruption, and cast this spell to get yourself to 20%. Cannot reverse already present corruption. Costs a burlap bag + Slow Fall: I know this is already in the game, I would just change it to increasing corruption instead of having a pouch cost. + Enslave the Storm: Winds howl around you as you cast this spell with a leather pouch. You can fly for 2 minutes with full use of your hands. + Spirit Walk: Leave your body at the cost of a cloth pouch and some corruption. You appear as a pulsing blue ghost (similar to the ones in the south western city biome) But the further you go from your body the more corruption, and then health damage you do to yourself. I think 100m would cap corruption at 50% and every additional meter would deal 1 point of health damage. If you walk too far you die. + Soul Snare: Cast on a dead human corpse that hasn't succumb to rigor mortis with a leather pouch. If that human could have become a thrall its soul is crystalized into a gem. The gem lasts for 8 minutes. If you can get it back to your thaumaturgy table in that time you can create a Soul Binding with another leather pouch, 5 witchfire powder and 5 soul essence. These materials, and the soul shard, are then crafted in the normal amount of time it would take to break the thrall normally (altered by the level of sorcerer working the bench of course) to make a Enslaved Spirit. The Enslaved Spirit is basically a glowing version of what the thrall would have been. The point of this spell is to be able to mass capture thralls and mass craft them into Enslaved Spirits. + Life Drain: Burlap bag cost to send out a wave of red energy out to 15m with a 45 degree arc. All creatures hit by the wave take 10 damage per second and you receive 1 point of health per second for each creature hit. This effect lasts for 20 seconds. You glow with a acid green colored aura while the spell is active. The developers could go the extra mile and make some green tethers between you and affected creatures to show the drain. + Dark Feast: Craft a potion of healing at the thaumaturgy table with 10 soul essence and 2 sacrificial blood flask. Heals 50% of your health over 5 seconds (10% a second). Also restores 100 hunger and thirst. + Summon the Maw: Summons a demon called the Maw at the circle of power. There you can talk to it and browse its wares. It sells materials for soul essence, and sacrificial blood flasks... lots of them. These high prices are to ensure that the system isnt too abusable. The selection of materials is changed every time the Maw is summoned, and the materials range from stacks of stone to ice, to star metal. The chances of the material being for sale by the Maw is based on its general rarity. Maybe it could even be that the Maw sells a low tier, mid tier, and high tier material. would need testing and QA. + Summon Greater Demon: Summons a much more powerful demon from the abyss than we currently have access to at the circle of power. it would be miniboss (1 skull boss) level of threat, and scales with your level. Requires 25 sacrificial blood flasks, and destroys the circle of power. The greater demon will attack any creature, and any building piece within 50m of its summoning location. When the ritual is complete the player who owned the cirlce of power used to summon the greater demon has a ring of magic runes surround them. If they step outside of this ring the greater demon will attack them the moment there are no other creatures attacking it. I've got others but the general goal of these changes and additions is that sorcery, except for a few spells, like teleportation, the steed summon, and one or two others, is generally gimmicky or too niche to be useful as a playstyle. I think there needs to be more low cost attack spells, and the change of sceptres and staffs would be huge.

I didn't realize this until after I'd already unlocked it all but you can disassemble sorcerous pages/failed pages for black blood that you need to unlock the final bits (I got mine from harpies)
On Live, There is a bug where you can't craft your next spell mine being the Wall of Fire, After searching and searching through the forums it was because I was encumbrance I loosen my weight to 55% and was able to craft my next spell. It's a known bug that's been going on for some time I hope this helps : D Overall Great video!
The game gives you ingredient lists. What i was expecting was a guide on how to gather alot of those ingredients. I was expecting to see how sacrificing was done so i could get blood. This was not helpful in the slightest. Frankly im amazed at how many comments you got saying it was helpful. What part were they having trouble with? Beats me.
I killed 50-100 sorcerer at New Asgarth and Barrow Mounds, and i haven't got a single sorcery page from them. My current theory is i need to go back down south to the starter areas, and upgrade my book from those mobs before its possible to drop any pages up here. Or its completely bugged like many other features ( i still dont have 60 skill points, but the people i play with do.)
Go to jhils caves. The scraps, bin Yakin seal , jhils roost and farm blood with pick axe from the three skull huge vulture creatures. Just outside of entrance of bin yakins is a chest with lasting feast in it. Not sure if the update brought it back but it has been inaccessible to craft. Not sure it’s gonna help thrall in the survival field anymore since they screwed the thralls heavily on hp. Good luck in the purge with this bs

Ran into a bug where it won't let me upgrade my tome despite having requested ingredients, a spell page, volatile glands, human flesh, and the book itself, but the craft button iremains greyed out.
I crafted the table and put the tome and all ingredients in, but it still won't let me craft or "upgrade" the tome... can anybody tell me why it won't let me? Do I need to do something else first?
I love the caves in Conan, they're straightforward.... don't wanna say how many times I got lost in Ark's caves but did at least once 😂😅

When I was cleaning the junk out of my chests I found that placing sorcerer pages in the dismantling benches yields a decent amount of black blood...

So that's why I couldn't find the sacrificial stone. I had to upgrade my book first.
In my knowlegde it says invisibilty and corruption hiding is unlocked but the 1st doesn't appear... Do I need a certain level of corruption?

Does each player have to upgrade their book and thaumathurgy for themselves? Tribemate cant use the spells i upgradet
If you add a second book you only have to use the first recipe to unlock all the spells it’s probably a bug but it makes life easy.
That is a bug and I am sure it will be patched out. So use it fast if you want to get away with it.
On Isle of Siptah i feel like im missing something trying to get the skulls.

No point, it is exactly the same conditions as on Exiled lands. The difference is very little, and I believe IOS has more sorcery camps
