As someone who is trying to learn how to make cool base designs in survival games in general: Thank you so much for making this with such detailed commentary
We dont realise on vidéo,but once built,it is trully amazing, in fact, it looks way better than any construction i've ever seen in a vidéo game. Hyper realistic and majestic. Bravo
This has been one of the best builds I've seen. Starting a new co-op with a friend and building in the Argossean style for the first time. I have a lot of inspiration to use now
Just made this on official servers 2 day build about 11 hours is my first base I just started 3 days ago on Conan. Used all stone tools to build this apparently I didn't use the same materials. Changed a few things in it since I'm not using dlc but it came out very nice.
Would love to see it without the DLC pieces as they are some pieces that the basic sets just don't have :( Unless you got to the Bazaar for the Sandstone advanced set.
I've added a larger rectangular garden personally and raised it so only entry is via villa (or sorcery now lol) It's 5x10 and houses a long table full of bounty food and wine, an argossean statue and a water fountain surrounded by pillars, bushes and braziers. Pillars house an upper level ceiling like used in this vid too. Looks great 😊
I have watched many, many, many builds on UA-cam, and I have to say you are, by far, the best at this. You are truly a master of your craft, my good sir.

It's the only PVE Starter Base video I could find by Eradication, and these two are nothing alike other than they have a border and gate lol. I watch Eradication quite often. I don't see the similarities in builds, but even still it's okay for people to get ideas from others and then put their spin on them or improve them. That's what these videos are for. We watch them, then try to put them in our own builds and change them to our liking. What's the difference?
lovely build. ive really enjoyed building this one. what a f-ing work of art that bridge is!!!!!!!! well done x ive just sat open mouthed watching from 26 mins in watching you put that together!!! incredible.
I loved building this you just explain so easy and the fact you show an over view before starting the next part is great thanks for time and effort you put into videos
So awesome, I'm learning a lot from your builds. There are a lot of little effects and tricks that take a long time to figure out on your own, and just watching your videos makes a new player like me understand a lot, quickly.
This is an excellent video. I think it's great that you name the necessary DLCs right at the beginning and show the foundation piece by piece. Very comprehensible, recreating it was really fun! (Only problem: getting the first foundation correct seems impossible xD)
@@DrB048 Absolutely! I used the starter foundations as you recommend it in the beginning. That's rly a good point, since as a perfectionist, you will replace this first two foundations a lot before you have the right angle (at least I did). After the foundation pieces looked good I continued with the argossean pieces and it worked out rly well.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm always looking to improve my game architectural skills. Also I found it hilarious that a shellback was basically touring the build at one point like, "Hmmm this is niiiiice!". Lol

An fantastic Build! Even as Artist I never thought about such an amazing complex home in CE. A little harbor in the bay would b fittiing very well I think.
Yeah this is an oldie that was released last year. The original video was a time lapse and I've received an unbelievable amount of requests to do a tutorial on it. I finally got around to doing so ha.
As a console player. Thank you. Shows that mods arn't everything. And thanks for explaining what to do. I love video's like this. With speed builds Im not always on time to pause
Amazing build, i recreated this! With some tweeks here and there but gosh darn it is beautiful, took me so long to get the base of the building! I love love your step by step build videos
Looks like a Langobardorum villa converted from a Roman garrison ..with hellenistic textures! - 6000yrs before it could have possibly existed. 😃 Nice build tut. 👍
i built a pirate shack right there. same bridge mine was to my animal pens. built a pleasure palace to Derketo and had a nice little start on turtle island. this is nice. think ill do something simular and keep it on the next playthrough.... it already has 5 level 20 purple and greater shellbacks guarding it after i took down the temple and shack
I am absolutely amazed by your design, showcase, explanation, language .. all of this art is a wonderful addition to my belief, that the love of God is set in the heart of people and it's meant to be shown to the world, to see, what love can mean. Godspeed.
Only dangerous thing about this build chaps.. Is possibly worry about the update on age of sorcery September 1st.. after the update the devs have said anything sitting on ceilings could be destroyed or spoof. because of the update and the game not registering the ceilings as floor tiles. The stability may flip null. hence losing your benches and items in benches and chests etc.
Amazing build. Out of curiosity, why do you use ceiling pieces as the floor on the ground (base) level and not the foundations you originally placed? Wouldn't the foundations be, well, a stronger foundation for the build?
It's building prederence. I actually did a video comparing a foundation base to a pillar/ ceiling base. That video might answer some questions you might have.
Question, at 3:02 in the video when you're putting the stable fence foundation, how do you get it to snap to the foundation that's there? My pieces will not snap like yours did. I followed exactly up until that point. It just will not snap at all for the stable fence foundation.
You know what would be absolutely amazing, is of anyone caught the number buildings and listed them, this is a big build and would be easier done by knowing how much I need of each resource beforehand.
I have the piece count... o.O I am putting together a patreon, and one of the things that will be on it is foundation layouts with piece counts listed.
@@DrB048 well its the smallest amount of information and it directly links in with this video. I would sub for more like it and then they have locked amounts but not when you just decide against sharing this video's information.

That's to cut back on the number of placed foundations to improve server stability. Also, the initial foundations were placed to make sure the location for your build is perfect. I recommend using a cheaper building set when trying to get your initial placement perfect.
I do it by slightly turning the roads as I am placing them. Here is my road tutorial, it might help explain some things ua-cam.com/video/LTGUowK3xTA/v-deo.html

@@DrB048 Ahhh okay that makes sense, I didn't think about it since you were doing with infinite pieces. Would that be liable in PvE-C where u can get attacked?
Awesome stuff like this makes me want to play CE again - I don't think any other game has come close to it's building system. I'm just not sure what to actually do in the game besides grind materials, make a cool base, capture a few thralls for guards then... do it again? Once you've got the basics of surviving (which you have if you're getting the resources to do this) if you're not interested in PvP or you're just playing solo I'm never sure what to do next.
@@DrB048 That's true - I kind of forgot about those. I played on a private server with a couple of friends, but our interests in parts of the game never aligned. It was the base building that mostly drew us to CE. We each ended up with separate bases. They didn't really leave the desert river area, while I had map rooms and other buildings in most biomes. I started doing dungeons - wanted to do them as a team with my friends but mostly ended up just my thralls and there was little challenge to the ones I tried. I think there's been changes to the combat since I last played, but at that time at least thralls were so much better in a fight than I was that the best thing to do was keep out their way while they curb-stomped everything.
@@Edramon53 Yeah, I had a few friends that would do the dungeons with me. We ended up leaving our thralls back at base, which made the dungeons enjoyable.
@@DrB048 I found that rounded cornered and square cornered paths can overlap differently compared to one another. You can cross-overlap them much better than of you use only 1 type. Anyway, very nice build of yours! Excellent videos and narration. Such dedication to redo a speed build you did just to give us a tutorial! Thanks for sharing your crrativity with us and allowing us to up our own game! Keep the good content comming! Subbed!

@@DrB048 Ahhh okay that makes sense, I didn't think about it since you were doing with infinite pieces. Would that be liable in PvE-C where u can get attacked?
Do anyone know how to start the DLC I have this one it’s my first time playing
You have to be a certain level to unlock the t3 buildings.
@@DrB048 what’s the required level if you don’t mind me asking
@15c Zigg I am not 100% certain, you will probably have to check in game.
awsome thanks slower this time thanks ^_^
love your builds
How did you get the dirt roadways??
I got two tutorial videos on my channel explaining how to do them.
Super kewl! 👏👏👏👏👏
I built this on the server I’m on, but I’m having trouble finding the stuff you used inside, I don’t suppose you have a list of names do you? 😅
I don't, unfortunately. What items were you looking for? If you describe it and link the time, I might be able to help you out.
@@DrB048 not sure which table and chairs it is, or the crafting stations, tho I have managed to get the right forge done 😅
@TeenageAssassinPSN Ahhh the big table and chairs are from a bazaar pack.
@@DrB048 oh, rip me then lmao 😂
Wonderfull work thx for sharing.
RIP the baby Shale in the way of the bridge 😂

Awesome stuff like this makes me want to play CE again - I don't think any other game has come close to it's building system.
I'm just not sure what to actually do in the game besides grind materials, make a cool base, capture a few thralls for guards then... do it again?
Once you've got the basics of surviving (which you have if you're getting the resources to do this) if you're not interested in PvP or you're just playing solo I'm never sure what to do next.
Their is also the dungeons which I surprisingly enjoyed.
I believe No Man's Sky has a similar building system. Not sure which one came first, NMS or CE.
How do you make the stone roads?
Here is my road tutorial ua-cam.com/video/LTGUowK3xTA/v-deo.html
where is the place on the map??
I think I mention the location somewhere at the beginning of the video.
yub i get it when i replay the video but forget to delete the comment btw i built it today and its AMAZING@@DrB048
tysmm@@DrB048
how did you do the pathways?
Here is a tutorial that I've done that will help explain it. ua-cam.com/video/LTGUowK3xTA/v-deo.html
Great work, thank you.
perfect work! Niceeee
Wait, I have been trying for days to make the backyard filled with pathways. Yours looks incredible! How?! T.T
Patience to get the placement just right.
Subbed!
