@@theallmightyego6756 bah, who cares what's conventionally considered "good", the most fun I've had in the game was way way back, about 1000 hours ago, when I played in the KV-2. Big, dumb, with a reload that lets me take a nap after every shot, but boy was it fun obliterating some poor random schmuck from range with the HE shell.

It’s so funny to bring a single AGM-65 on the F5C, they have a bit less range and way less speed than an aim-9b, but it’s still very funny

The ASU-57 is very fun as you see 7 king tigers roll past you upon taking the tank to a higher br. Then you obtain 7 kills.

In my opinion the BT-42 at 8.0 BR is extremely fun to play. There's pretty much nothing that the BT-42 can't penetrate since it has 115mm of armour pen plus you can do some really fun and cool tricks with it! For example jumping on enemy vehicles ex.
I enjoy doing the same in the short barrel 75mm Puma, using its heat
one vehicle that should be on this list with a ridiculously good gun is the ikv 103, it gets 400mm pen heatfs at 4.0 so you can uptier it to pretty much anywhere and pen anything

too bad the gunner sight is under ground and the whole enemy team can see your forehead.
I rarely see anyone playing it but the Italian 90/53 M41M is an amazing vehicle and it's my second most played vehicle IIRC. It's kind of like the ASU-57 in size but since the crew is almost a meter apart it's incredibly survivable. In low tiers people don't know where to shoot it and in higher tiers you can hide it completely behind bushes to become pretty much invisible (even more than ASU-57 since it's gun is shorter than the chassis).
Also the gun is amazing with 350gr of HE in a 150mm pen shell. If you can't pen an enemy tank frontally you can always shoot the cupola and watch the crew turn into a fine mist.
Ansaldo 105/25 m43 is so short it's hard to see, good mobility plus a 150mm pen at 4.7 along side the Breda 501 is the perfect fun combo.
It also has good Armor kn the front and is extremely fun to play since in open maps you use it while if it's a city map you can use the Breda and get like 4-5kills easily.
The 90m's are so fun haha. And the 90/53 m41m is somthin I brought up and decided tigers with, the gun absolutely nukes just about anything it pens
Pz VI F1 with the 2nd HEAT round is op and so fun. Also its low tier so ii is extra fun
M50 has to be one of the funnest in game being able to fire 6 high pen rounds practically all at once

I think the Breda 501 is insanely fun. If you are able to get a flank you can just mow down anything at it’s br. It’s fast, has a good gun and is surprisingly survivable. I have gotten 12 kill games with no deaths.

I love playing in my AML-90. It’s so fun to speed around and hide, then blast everyone. You can even drive faster than the turret traverse of some tanks, so you can circle around them if you track them first :))
I love rolling around and one shotting enemies in the Lorraine 40t. They dont expect it to be powerful and its really fast. The 4 second reload is very fun as well

Nothing more fun than one shotting a King tiger with Ikv103 from 5 meters range
i'd recommend the Ho-I.
It is like a Chi-Nu at 2.0, with a Panzer 4 short barrel like gun, but with 460g of TNT.
It literally 1shots even a Char 2c
It is agile, small and has effective armor thanks to it's low BR.
The APHE has only 43mm pen, but it should be your main shell.
It has also a very good HE with 12mm of pen, so you can shoot Panzer3/4 turret roofs with it.
And lastly a 90mm pen HEAT.
But as i said APHE should be the main ammo

U-SH 405 in the Swedish tree at 8.0 is really slept on. Its a full auto R3 T106 basically. Two recoilless rifles launching HEAT with 330mm pen, but the most fun thing to do is zip around behind people, ram them, and blast em.
The fun vehicles will always be the one tapping monsters with an impractical main gun, too long of a reload, and heavy frontal armor. You know him, you hate him, let me introduce, the Strumtiger.
I love the BM 31, I've had it happen multiple times where I just sneaked up on someone and launched a rocket at them from like 10 metres away after fiddling around for a minute to line up correctly
The sturmtiger shown in that video is in Münstern in north germany. I went to the museum there a few weeks ago. And it is huge indeed

The B5N2 is a really fun vehicle. Its get a huge bomb for its br and its flight performance is ABSOLUTELY CRACKED

a tank i found really fun to play is the chinese wz 122tm, its just a long t62 with some misile pods things and very agile and idk its just too funny to me

I don’t have any vehicles on this list, but if there’s one really fun vehicle that I love, it’s gotta be the Toyota -Corolla- Mega Cruiser. Aka, the Type 93. Sure it can’t shoot ground targets, but the speed it has and it’s ability to just simply phase through APFSDS shells is amazing. Also the lowtier French plane with Hispanos is pretty cool too.
You should play the VT1-2 its the definition of a tank that abuses the map terrain while maintaining an absolute monster of a horsepower and double top tier cannon at a 8.7 Br.
Also there a bug that somehow if you ever take out its transmission or engine it can still turn the whole tank as long the track and driver isnt taken out its probably the most cheekiest ways to make people bait there shot knowing that no tank should not move when there transmission or engine is taken out.
ASU 57 every puma variant and the m22 are my favorite gremlin tanks and the hs129 and f5e are some fun planes to use
Honestly the most fun I've had was probably with my M3 Lee with custom controls to switch between the 2 guns.
It has 2 useful cannons in a BR where it's stats are actually decent all around.
Anything on the E.B.R wheeled chassis is super fun. I’ve gotten so many nasty flanks in the tech tree EBR
the only tank that can commit more tomfoolery than the r3 t20, is the r3 t106 fa
8.0, r3 chassis, and dual 106mm recoiless rifles, whats not to love?

A little list of fun tanks at their own brs :
- SU-122 (impenetrable in front and a Funi howitzer)
- M4A3(105) (same thing as above, just with a turret and a .50 cal)
- Char 25t (fast as fuck, APHE in the French tech tree, a real funny flanker)
- AMX-50(TO90-930) (same thing as the char 25t but bigger, better armor and has a slightly better acceleration)
- AMX-50 Foch (against Tigers is a beast, but against a lot of tank, it ain’t that gud)
- AMX-50 Surbaissé (basically an AMX-13 on steroids)
- Strv M/42 DT (basically a Sherman’s 76 with an auto loader)
There’s probably more but I ain’t playin rn so I can’t check for other tanks
The T-50 is such a fun vehicle to play because it is obscenely fast and has decent armour with a good gun. You can literally race across maps and flank vehicles and they will struggle to pen you if you don't angle.
You could ve mentioned the 15cm german tank. Its as the sturmtiger a one shot kill in lower BR. Also the german airplane with a 75mm canon
The F4U-4B is one of my favorites. The 4 20mm ca nnons Shreds almost any other plane at its BR.
but its bomb setup w 4 250 and 2 500 pounders also is great 4 CAS in a combination w the m18

The Maus has one more hidden feature - it is so heavy its mass appears to inhibit brain functions of nearby players. Everyone seems to go full stupid when a Maus is around.
As for my personal favorite "fun tank" its the BM-8-24 (in ground AB). What it lacks in firepower against anything not open top or made of tinfoil it makes up with its sheer ability to absolutely infuriate enemy players with repeated barrages of tiny rockets. Constantly detracking them while they can do absolutely nothing to you in return because you sit behind cover lobbing rockets over it from safety.
Sturmpanzer! Whenever you see that god mode badge show up you know you're having good time

The m3 gmc has always been my favorite tank to go to for fun
I love playing the SU-122, it could literally pen anything with its 122 mm HE shells and the front armor is just mediocrely strong
The r-3 has a lower Tier accomplice, the M42. Quad 20mm canons with 48 millimeters of pen at 3.3. You can kill any Sherman besides jumbos from the side and it also melts planes.
I remember back when I bought and used the M-51W when it was the only Israeli ground vehicle. 3 spawns in it per match and bullying what ever I saw, good times

Very good vehicles at same br for Italy so you have options.
The cannons are going to destroy everything that they come in contact with and, the Breda is very agile and the ansaldo is both agile and has good armor on the front.
Every time I want to relax and have some fun, I go for T-35 and BB-1 for CAS

My most fun tank to play is the object 279 with its fire-power and ridiculously good armor that can troll bounce apfsds sometimes

For me, 2c BIS, nothing like just dunking on people like a Sturmpanzer, but you have a turret and you are a "Tanky" boi, with 12 meatbags to exterminate, or just the thrill you get of being hit by some other derp gun, have 2 crew members survive and return them the favor! atleast in about 15 seconds when your gunner comes online, so while they still have a couple seconds before they can finish you off, your ready to go.
the KV2 is fun because you can oneshot an tiger hitting the turrrts front plate i did it once and didnt get an replay of it since replay files broken

I have a few dozen vehicles i like but my number one is probably the magach 2 pure for aesthetic.
Also anything with auto cannons at low tier. Just running around and shredding everything.

The conqueror, Centurion avre, m728 is pretty fun for me and the typ 10
Now here's the funny thing, the most fun vehicle in WT would be the SU-122, you may ask why? Well, T-34 armour at 2.3 (basically unkillable), very speedy, funny overpressure and HEAT if you really need it and you can pair it with the next most fun vehicle in War Thunder - Yak-2 KABB, which is supposedly an attacker but has the agility of a turn fighter.
Also iirc you can pair it with the ZiS-30 my beloved tractor tank which is totally not a tank that can still handle itself well at 6.7
Oh and also the meatball launcher from 1.7 is pretty fun too for same reasons as the SU-122 (but planes are the bane of your existence)
my to top fav tanks are the British Fire Fly and the Concept 3
Sadly the FV4005 hasn't really been all that fun recently, last time I used it I hit a Tiger II on it's turret face and only broke his gun, which he fixed faster than I could reload. The AVRE has been doing stuff like that for a while now too so I think Gaijin just broke HESH again.
Nah its just because its british that they have to nerf it. Why else does an is2 overpressure anything it pens with only like 200g of tnt but a round with 21kg of tnt only tracks people when you shoot them side on and they have no shielding on the side of their tanks.

The French AMX ELC BIS is very fun basically a small go cart with the firepower of a m-51😂
The Tiger 2 is very fun. It's not broken because it plays against better tanks and the cannon is horrendously good

The low tier summer extreme event tank is stupidly fast, has very fast reload and a good gun for 1.7
Imo auto 37 mm and aphe on sdkfz 6/2 are extreamly fun considering its on 1.7
