If you think these are bad, i would advice against trying the HKPC3 swedish heli. It gets 6 atgms which usually oneshots, if you can hit the target that is *cough cough* 85m/s *cough cough*
Also only 2km range 💀. I think the worst of any heli atgm and with the 85m/s missile it takes 23 seconds to reach your target at max range. Also the guiding is ass after the atgm update. At least the huey chassis is fast and nimble. 🤷
Also sure I may be missing a few helis here, because well I uh- don’t have them… and I can’t be bothered getting a test drive for a heli that will give me clinical depression… Also I don’t, and will never, use helicopter ATGM’s, I feel incredibly slimy using them, also to mention they are insanely boring to use.

The french Gazelle Helicopters probably also deserve a mention just for their horrendous stock grind because they get even less rockets stock (20mm + 7 rockets or only 14 rockets respectively) and it sits at a higher BR. Oh, and I forgot to mention that their rocket launchers are angled up so you can't even launch them where your cockpit is facing. :)

When playing the Hind use it's fat weight to your advantage, make straight line passes coming in from one side of the map to the other, never from spawn to spawn. Just dump rockets don't be conservative, and use all that weight to fly out at top speed. Works quite well.

MI4AV is an amazing helicopter aslong as it isn't your first spawn. The 4 air to ground missiles loadout is very good, with 4km of range and they 1 shot easily. It's just that the rockets are trash and it's slow which gives people a bad impression. Overall 8.0 with 4x ATGM makes it one of the best starters.

I actually made that sim about a year ago myself, because I thought it would be funny to see what happens if I shot a Karl Gerat’s 600mm shell at a Tiger II UFP.. Long story short, I used the wrong materials and that’s why the plate did not completely crack and fall apart.
The sheer pain of trying to unlock the Mi-24 from the Mi-4 is insanity. I've been on it for over a year because I cant take the constant grind. A full 2+ hours in a GOOD match gets you 12-20k RP.... Out of 300-400k. It's bullshit.
It seems that you haven't played them enough,a deployed landing gear acts like suspension if you catch on fire and need to land fast (them turn off engines before overheating) They also work when you are basically "drifting" on the ground due spaaa danger,and they can also receive a small portion of impact from incoming SAMs,I don't know why do they behave like that,but it works
People say about "Russian bias" in Warthunder and yet reality shows that western tanks are not that good and it is in game where they can do anything. Now lots of people start hating me. Whatever. That only will make me right

The vikhrs in the KA-50 are ridicilous anti everything missiles, because they have proxy fuze and you can guide two of them at once. Also they parallax rotor design makes it able fly even if the tail is cutoff
All that maneuvering and rocket throwing looks fun but I do not have enough skill at the moment to do that in the bathtub of the Mi-4, takes me back to battlefield days
I love the lynx/glynx, it’s a nice multi tool, I can do rocket runs, sead with hellfires if I really want to, and the stingers are somehow actually good? Gun could use more ammo though
Chad MI-4 distracts everyone from the fact the H-34 even exists (it’s not just an event vehicle for the US but also the starter heli for France lmaooooo). It’s somehow even slower and less agile with the possibility to mount a single Nord as an atgm. I’s not bad but you just get one and it has a meh range. Meanwhile the Mi-4 has 4 Falangas that are slow but can go up to 4 km, which is more than even the Tow-2 on the 9.7 Ah-1F
Idk why people say Mi-4 is bad. Yes, slow AF, trash machine gun, and other bad things, but 4 AGMs with 4km range at 8.0 is not bad at all, no SPAA or SAM can take you down from those ranges. I dont say is a great heli, but i think is decent.

the fact that you get quite a lot of kills in that AB 205 scares me. like, every time i took that thing to a battle the game is like : pintle mg damage, take it or leave it.
Once, I almost killed a helicopter with the AB 205. I also may have gotten some critical hits on tanks. If they didn't let us research helis with ground vehicles, no one would EVER research Italian helicopters.
It’s down to the fact I have about 2500 battles in the G-LYNX which does not have CCIP, and I am very used to not using it, when I keep it on, it just feels incredibly weird, and throws me off. And since for the most part I am decent at aiming my rockets under 1km, I don’t really need it. Also I genuinely despise ATGM helis, I will never use them, it feels completely skill-less and scummy. Never used a single ATGM in the G-LYNX for example lol
