Have 5 Farers. The colors they do are just... sooooo good and usually not replicated anywhere else (which is saying something) . The build quality is amazing and the price point is fair for the detailing/styles/case detailing. Highly recommended!
Im attracted to Farer watches because the color combinations they use on their watches are mesmerizing. They're the best when it comes to putting color on their watches
Farer IS a good Brand but i think you should have compared this watch to an Omega seamaster than a sub . Thé dial looks like more to an Omega as a sub
Rolex comparison is better clickbait
@@grimacium Ha, I was going to say Rolex generates more clicks
@@droobie827of course
@@grimaciumSorry to bust your bubble but the Sub is just a bog standard watch. Definitely not worse the retail price nevermind the silly pre owned prices.
@@garyboyle695 Ummm I never claimed otherwise. It's just a fact that Rolex in the title gets more UA-cam clicks
Always been a fan of Farer, glad to see it featured here finally.
I bought my first Farer (36mm Lander Kano) this year, and it's gorgeous - pink, sunbeam dial, GMT function. Very happy with their customer service, and I wish them the best!
Love Farer. So many interesting options. And the build quality is unreal for the price
Great video as usual, and really good to see Farer getting some air time. For me Farer is at the pinnacle of microbrands, with well designed, interesting pieces and the customer service and personal touch to back it up. I hope they stick to this concept going forwards.
Such a great brand. Along with Chris Ward, one of my favorites.
Farer has some of the most unique color ways in watchmaking and it’s done tastefully and with tact
Farer is great value and well finished for the money. Refreshing in a sea of repeating designs.
Got a used Roche. Since they don't discount the residuals are high for a micro.
OMG! I just commented on the last episode how much I missed the micro-shots of earlier Watchfinder videos, and how much I missed the "talking hands". YAY!!! 🎉 I'm so happy that brought back an old school video! 🙏
You just commented on the wrong channel. The other one was Andrew's personal channel. THIS IS WATCHFINDER!!!😂😂😂😂
They also do two of these videos every week. Plus two of the chat style videos, so four total a week.
The Freshwater replaced my BB58 for the summer and its quality is equivalent. Also have their Classic Chronograph which has a Dubois Depraz module that's impressive.
I literally just received my Nazare less than a week ago and I’ve been stoked to wear it. The strap options go so well with the watch and it definitely gets attention. It should be mentioned that the colour combinations aren’t the only sweet spot, the build quality of the watch also deserves that qualification. Satisfying heft and size to be comfortable for my 6.9” wrist, it’s definitely a keeper
The red and white (Biaritz?) Looks awesome.
I have 2 Farers already and this one looks amazing. Perfect size and lots of options to pick from. Not sure which one tho, lol. Cribbar looks nice, and Porhtleven.
I like it. Just would have liked to see some more color combos offered. Quality micro brands are a definite option.
Very nice, I like the white and red one. Too small for me though
These microbrands are great but most of the luxury brands, the mechanical movement is a big part. The biggest asset these brands have is they are not afraid to experiment with colors, materials.
This one has a sellita movement I believe
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
I have two Farers and lust for several others. But I don't think I would go for one from this line. I would totally go for that oversized moonphase you mentioned though.
Got the cribbar. It looks and feels quality. The lume is great too.
great job as usual!
Pretty nice watch, great materials and good design. It's a great option for a dive watch.
I had a Lander IV. Still sad I sold it.
One of the most beautiful dials I’ve ever owned. Lovely little watch.
Great brand. Unpretentious, decent quality, good pricing. Most importantly lovely watches
I’m a big fan of Farer. I have one of their GMTs.
Dunno about the Aquamatic but the Maze II is bloody fantastic.
I have a cushion case farer and the quality is fantastic for the price in my opinion
Any chance you can review the citizen tsuyosa? the prx killer as they say?
That seconds hand looks like the Eiffel Tower.
Love them especially the freshwater. More fun than the Swatch collaboration
Farer is solid. I have one of their watches. Absolutely love it.
Love this, great looking watch too.
4:00 "dip them in paint" unfortunately that looks to be exactly what Farer has done with the hands.
In general I find that the small new independent brands have some of the most attractive and best value watches out there. Maybe they are more nimble and have less baggage to slow them down like the established big brands.
how's the lume??
I think all the interesting watch design is being done by micro brands, and Farer is definitely one of the best. They also make their watches a sensible, wearable size, unlike the fuddy-duddy big brands who (mostly)seem to view anything less than 40mm (& >48mm lug-to-lug) as a ‘ladies’ watch.
Absolutely gorgeous watches 😮
Very interesting brand looking at their collection. Now the ultimate question - how do these stack up against Christopher Ward?
I have 2 CW's and 3 Farers (maybe 4 after this video). Both make really good watches but I find that Farer are just more inventive and fun to wear. Also I do think CW's recent explosion in popularity has come at a cost on their customer services, hopefully they sort this out.
I personally love Farer’s line up of watches. Most of Christopher ward selection seem somewhat stale in comparison. I’m yet to see the 12 or bel canto which are highly lauded but so far Farer watches are fresher, more fun, better design language and less generic.
@@jasongeorge3115 yeah that’s what I’m seeing too, these are unique colors here which help set these apart 👍 , actually preferring Farer for my next watch instead of my 2nd CW
@@wisamal-hakim5531 I had to get something exciting from CW so I got the blue Trident 300 with hybrid orange rubber, I also have a blue Tissot Sideral, these fun Farer watches are really enticing me!
True, downside is they have too many great options. Everytime ive narrowed down options, they drop something new into mix. Re"Colorway" 🤣👏
Biarritz on order! I couldn’t get the creamy white and red on that brushed jubilee out of my daydreams.
Mr. Morgan: Thank you for not using the term “color way “. Good video.
Hear hear !
You brought back the talking hands!👍🏼🎉🥳
Great watches. I need one!
Beautiful, Love Them All
That Farer is a nice looking watch.
It’s hard not to think of Anthony Farer haha
Perpetualy free watch sounds fun
It looks good from far but up close the handsets look like it was 3D printed or the edges were 3D printed on, which is throwing me off!
Lightly veiled commercial.
The idea that any watch is a “Rolex killer” is always nonsense. Rolex sells an image, feeling, status. Tons of watches are better than the physical specs of a Rolex, but that’s not what they sell.
Wearing a Rolex just makes people envious and the buying experience is horrible. the market is dominated by flippers, 'investors' and those with a basic knowledge of watches.
I have one but rarely wear it.
It's a fashion item for those chasing said image, but equally hated.
Finally! A common sense retort to the image of Rolex!
I've never ever been envious of anyone wearing a Rolex. They are just blah. They may look nice on screen but in real life they are such a disappointment.
@@garyboyle695 not even the look, people see the brand and think you're a show off. It doesn't matter how good it looks, 95% of people know you have spent months of disposable income on it,plus you're now a target for left
Perhaps the other quality of Farer -- the unseen one -- is how good they are as buyers. Farer doesn't have any quartz watches at the time of writing, but last year they had a selection of quartz flyback rattrapante chronographs that are comparably wonderful as their mechanical siblings. How do Farer quartz stand out from the millions of others out there? They chose an above-par movement that's accurate to somewhere between Casio LCD watch and a thermo-compensated quartz. It isn't the best of the best, but neither is it average and ho-hum. Farer found a supply of these and put them into watches until they ran out.
Never seen the commentators face until now 😂. I pictured someone different with glasses!
They are all named after surfing venues or waves 😁
At law, there is a rule of contract interpretation that titles and subtitles are irrelevant in determining the parties’ intent. Perhaps that is why I’m not fazed by Rolex appearing in every UA-cam video title. If the video itself is well produced and interesting, then we can all forgive a little accommodation to the algorithmic gods in Mountain View.
I think my first farer will be the portobello chronograph its to beautiful
Dooo it - I just got #14!
Anybody have any opinion of the build quality between Farer and Christopher Ward? I've heard both are great a the pricepoint. Really like the Farer Resolute II and was thinking of nabbing one
I don’t own a CW watch but I have owned a Farer and it was a lovely watch. I doubt you’ll be displeased with it.
Ah thank you for the helpful reply right there. That seems to be the consensus with Farer as a whole and their quality. Thanks again and have a good day!
@@patti_b9388 pleasure.
My lawyer was called farer
That is vastly more Seamaster than Rolex. Stop using buzzwords for clicks, its pathetic.
He loves triggering the Rolex fan boys and girls. Can't say I blame him.
stunning
Love this brand but maybe the thumb nail should have said “Omega Seamaster Killer”….Oh…right. However, the ‘only $995’ (website quotes $1050) will quickly turn into closer to somewhere around $1600 🇨🇦 with taxes and duties. Hmm….decisions, decisions…
Pre owned planet ocean 2500
I quite like their Field watches, a love child between the Oris pointer date and Hamilton Khaki field watch. Thanks for the video x
Farer watches aren't cheap.
Though cost and style are subjective.
Farer should ask you to produce their ads!!
Well, isn’t this a kind of ad?… 🤔
You chose the less colorful versions
Looks like a great watch, but for $995 I can think of a few i would get before this.
Where’s the rolex? Cause it’s a dive watch?
Wearing my Freshwater as I watch this
I can't wear a watch that reminds me of Anthony Farrer. Even though Farer is spelled slightly differently.
I just checked, my submariner is still alive.
Which languages are they Day wheel?
Sanskrit.
@@threethrushes ?
Rolex lookalikes are 10 a penny. I'm thinking of an invicta myself.
So different it looks like a seamaster pro
Looks like a Seiko
Why can't they make the 36mm GMT in colors that aren't weird?
They’ve said they will be coming out with a new range of colors in 36mm. Also they offer their signature sea green Lander in 36mm already!
Well this looks like a Swabmariner or maybe a Swamega to me. Bit too plasticky for my taste 😉
Thank you for refusing to say "colorway"
I have a Farer in my Collection, and its a really well built, beautifully designed watch.
But the title is pure clickbait, and the Comparison to Rolex would not be very practical.
You're right. This is actually a tool watch unlike Rolex which is now nothing more than a flex.
Looks like a childrens watch.
“Submariner killer” something makes me think Rolex won’t notice the tiniest dent in sales of the Submariner due to this watch
Gevril has a better watch selection for the money...don't pay retail.
I can get SW 200 watches for $500 if u look
It looks more like a Casio Duro than a Submariner..🤔
Looks like something you won at a summer fair.
No thank you.
Whenever I read the word "Rolex Submariner Killer" I skip the video. Simple as that. Nothing kills this (genuine) watch. Especially not this Omega Seamaster "homage". The hands and the strap look like they're from a gumball machine.
Big fan
The hands look like they’ve got too much paint on them.
EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE.... is you want a subby killer just go buy an invicta pro diver with the bulletproof Seiko engine for sub £100....now that is a no brainer ain't it?
I like the health benefits from intermittent fasting but i can see me eating breakfast in this case.....so what am i looking at? Coco pops, fruit and nut or rice cripsy's. Please be rice cripsy's.
Using the name of Rolex to get click baits it works but it’s so annoying. This is not killing any submariners - nice one
Really? A Rolex, come on!
Not even close
Yeah naah, *OVER* a thousand € for a Selita movement watch..
Ugg, they look like Swatch watches.
I realize what I am saying here, but, I think I would take one of these over a Submariner. In reality, I would actually take the Rolex, sell it and buy 8 Farers.
i wish they were bigger.
well... still expensive. Real killers are Pagani, SanMartin,...
love it but id drift towards a more big named brand if i was parting with that kind of cash! maybe a tudor for not much more
I wouldn't really say more than twice the amount is "not much more". The black bay 36 is over £1400 more. And that's not a comparable diver. £2000 to get to the cheapest black bay diver and that's only on a leather strap.
But Tudor are just plain ugly
Can we please agree to retire the term 'Submariner Killer'...? It's clickbait done to death, nothing will ever kill the sub, let's just agree there are cool watches for all tastes in all price tiers...
Lost me at 38mm 😢
Isn’t it only plastic ? Expect the case, it’s steel? And this for 999€?
$1000 for this, seriously? Looking so underwhelming. Go for Seiko, or save some money for Tudor
This is not for me.
