Potpourri Logos II: The 16mm Showcase

- It's been a long time, hasn't it? Well I'm back with a new video. In honor of my UA-cam channel’s 15th year, and the amount of time I present studio logos, I wish to present to you what might be my longest logo compilation ever! A follow-up of my previous "Potpourri Logos", minus the explicit material. I had an idea back in late-October 2022 and spent over 7-months compiling over 400-company logos in 16mm film prints. Mainly the ones that are educational, but with a mixture of studio logos from film and TV-series printed in the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, and a few countries you may not expect to see in this presentation. Don't worry, there's no explicit content in the entire video, so anybody is welcome to watch this.
Please note that all material that’s included in this logo compilation contains warped music with distorted colors based on the age from certain finds I attempted to include and edit in the video. Some of the logo finds range from being silent to loud at the same time, so please adjust the volume if you wish to protect your ears. Not to mention, I don't own a collection of 16mm films, so the logo finds you'll be seeing are originally uploaded by users that own their original prints.

No doubt it was a very interesting compilation, I didn't expect to see the logos of pixar and local stations like KERA or WGBH, I liked a lot of variety here, very good video!

Very nice set of 16mm logos in this compilation, so I became into a spookiness day uploads on my channel! Yesterday I hadn't uploaded yet but yesterday I uploaded many things on Internet Archive and UA-cam and search 16mm film print but I can't find it.

I love these 1970s logos they are really odd. strange visuals and synthesized sounds. it some how manages to be warm and wholesome and creepy and disturbing and cold at the same time.

25:50. I finally found the film this comes from. “Graffiti: Fun or Dumb?” from 1976.
This is a great showcase, i never thought to see other logos,
And plus: i had this dream sometime last night i was dreaming about a 16mm video of something, and in the simple foot, there was some loud pops nanoseconds after the film ended, it went to the simple foot and during the tail, and after like 16 seconds it just went to some weird sounds of beeping, along with a really weird screen, and just strangely went to a film leader countdown, and the video probably ended. How weird it be to have a simple tail like that on a 16mm print?

Dang it, I wasn't mean to help send over the playlist of 16mm logos in some countries because it's incomplete, but oh well.
I'm not aware about what you felt, and I apologize. The video hasn't premiered yet, and you made a big deal by reminding me about a playlist that its "incomplete"? So what? The video I put my time and effort on may look incomplete, and I know I'll get hate from those who''ll comment that I forgot this and that. Again, so what? It's not going to be one of the best videos I've done, so what's the big deal?

@@alps2ndchannel886 Thanks! As much as I don’t mind anyone sending me playlists of their finds from films and shows, I make the most effort on my own. I browsed multiple playlists and looked in the eye by including whatever treasures can impress people like you and I. It’s what I’ve been doing for 15-years, and this one will be yet another popcorn-watch anyone could ever have.

Those are a nice find! How did you find a lot of these? Especially Metromedia, the only one I was familiar with up to now was from the Dark Shadows show.
I found like hundreds of them that were shared here by many users that scanned and uploaded on both here and Internet Archive. The only way I searched for them is under “16mm film print”. Depends on the UA-camr and whatever titles you’d find on both Internet Archive and Indiana University’s video folders.

There are only a few that I could find, and they were released until 1991.
Oh wait... On 1:26:25, How about the "United Artists" logo from 1994, isn't it counted as 16mm?

15:37 ok now they are just taking the piss there is no reason to make it sound like this part from trying to scare kids i would assume it would be used for a horror movie but most logos on here are for educational videos. and i tried to google "international bonn" i didn't find anything relevant but there is a school and a badminton tournamant with that name so i think its probably an educational thing .but the logo is so old it could be a company that has become very obscure before the internet even existed
