You need to make sure that you stop giving her the impression that you're chasing a relationship. Let her want that more than you do and she will naturally stop referring to you as her ex. If she does refer to you as her ex, just laugh and say, "Obviously. We're broken up and there's no way I'd ever give you another chance. You were the worst girlfriend ever" and laugh. Note: You're obviously joking when you say that, but initially, let her think that you're actually being kind of serious. She will like it that you had the balls to say that to her.
And another way is to answer, "I'm so glad you called. I can cancel the flowers I sent". She'll ask "huh? What flowers?". You reply, "I sent them to the funeral home. Hey Dan, got your program, went out with a girl that I dated, never got to the boyfriend / girlfriend stage, and we went out to some event and she held my hand, then we drank and did kiss one time between dancing. I brought her back to my place and tried to have sex but she fell assleep like a log.
