Agreed, although Scotland is larger than Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg combined, so we are not such a wee country.
Why do you say Scotland is a wee country? You could fit Luxembourg, Belgium and the entire Netherlands into Scotland and still have more than 4000 square miles left over. We are the 119th biggest country out of 195. Hardly wee, eh?
Scotland has a population of only around 5.5 million compared to over 28 million in the Netherlands (17+ million), Belgium (11+ million) and Luxembourg (650,000+) so I think we qualify as a "wee" country perfectly

The thing about the Tartan Army is that every member of the Army knows that whenever they "go on tour" they are not only fantastic supporters of Stevie Clarke's Scotl;and squad but just as important they are all ambassadors of Scotland abroad and they arer all doing an incredible job.
I am so proud of the Tartan Army.
Cologne loves the Scots, they are amazing people and fans.

2:15 we germans love the scottish fans and in cologne we have a special love because one of the most beloved songs here is "Du bist die stadt" wich is a cover from highland cathedral wich you can hear here

As a Scot, what surprised me most... more obviiys on other videos, was how the Pipers and Drummers knew how and when to move on to next tune.

I was in Berlin and watched the game at the fanzone at the Brandenburg Gate with lots of fellow Scots. At the end of the game the German fans were actually coming up to us and apologizing for the result. We had a great time during our stay in Berlin. Thank you Germany 👍👏👍

I was once asked by an English person why Scots were so traditional. I said when you have been invaded and they are always on the border you need to hold on to your identity. Or become English.
The bagpipes were banned for many years, the English classified as a weapon of war.

The melody that starts at about 2:15 is called 'Highland Cathedral' and was actually composed by two German lads. It's commonly played at both weddings and funerals. Alba gu brath
and with "Du bist die Stadt" it is one of the most beloved melodys in cologne ^^
Scotland is a country for PEACE and we love to travel to visit all our neighbours in EUROPE. Football is only part of it. Thanks for showing this.

I am 73 years of age, yet I would have loved to be there with these proud Scots! Scots and bagpipes were always on the front line in those world wars one and two, the propose was the sound of the bagpipes would put fear into the opposing army!
