To quote a guy about to be killed in the film The Chronicle's of Riddick " this is a world of many people, many religions, and we simply can not and will not be converted!"
a white man with a beard, living in the clouds, knowing everything that happens on earth.... is that accurate and truthful? Sounds more like a fairytale to me...
But, which version of Christianity? Historically speaking, religions tend to go after other sects of their own religion a LOT harder than completely different religions.
They got it right. The point isn't that Crane Pool and Schmidt is always on the correct moral side just that through their cases they shine a light on American culture and opinions of the people. In this episode it's pretty clear that they are on the wrong side and the writers had that in mind. In a sense the CPH doesn't have to be morally right in every case they just have to win and in the process tap onto some part of contemporary American zeitgeist.
when people pull this they are forgetting Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. you are not a christian nation.we actually are in the uk and don't pull this rhetoric
Ever heard of separation of Church and State? The majority of politicians don't give a shit about God but because a lot of voters do, the politicians act like they're religious. It's always been funny to me as a non-American how people preach the Constitution whenever it suits them but forget crucial parts of it whenever it doesn't suit their arguments. Politicans talking about God undeniably goes against the Constitution but people don't seem to care that much anymore; they have the "it is what it is" mentality. However, just because there are people that actually expect the U.S. to follow its Constitution in regards to religion despite the fact that it will never happen again, doesn't make them dummies, dummy.
It's also a fact that the bible, quran and torah advocate slavery in gods name. And judging by your profile you're a black man. When are you going to advocate gods word and campaign for black people to be put back into the cotton fields as property?

Tv shows really know how to sell a scene, even when it isn't accurate or truthful.

While I like a lot of the cases they showed on the show, this is one of the ones where they got it drastically wrong.

Even though America wasn't founded on the values or principles of Christianity or religion in general?
