Was introduced to King 810 about 2 yrs ago....still obsessed and amazed with it all....would love to sit down with David and the rest of the band. Total Respect from Canada

Their frontman wears his heart on his sleeve with every word he writes and says, and the emotions he wants to convey REALLY come across in the music. Any time I listened to the previous album, I was floored. It never got old, always a new journey with the listening experience. This band is pure and visceral with their music...the emotional outpour is amazing. It's not all the time that I listen to a band's music and literally FEEL everything they're putting across. King 810 deliver the goods. I'm excited to listen to the rest of this record soon!

I know I’m late, but I don’t see this song as a stance against religion. It seems very clear to me that David is once again writing from his experiences, and uses metaphors relating to the death of Jesus and the eternal judgement from God. He has an extreme view, so it makes sense to use such controversial & provocative lyrics & imagery. He did a damn good job with this one, and the instrumental parts are hypnotic as well.

My original point was about instrumentation, I get its not for everyone but personally I'm much more concerned with storytelling and conveying certain emotions through the medium of music, and in my opinion very few do that better than king 810.
