That was a classy move by the Bruins to recognize his wife as well. For all of the benefits of being an NHL spouse, I'm sure there's a lot of time apart and raising the kids alone. It's important to acknowledge that their significant others have a huge impact on their mental state and focus. You can accomplish a lot without good support at home, but it's certainly a great deal easier when you have a solid foundation off the ice.
The legend came back and gets it done! Congrats Krejci!

I'm so glad that he came back this year, not just because it made the Bruins way better, but he also never ever got the respect he deserved in his first 15 years with the team. It took him leaving for people to finally appreciate what they had. Have loved seeing him finally get his due this season.

I always thought we were a much better team when he was in the lineup. One of the most underrated elite players in Bruins history, congratulations thank you for serving us for so long.

I’ve just gotta take a moment to really appreciate our leadership over the years. We’ve had some of the best captains, and alternate captains. They’re easily our most concrete players, and keep everyone around them so level headed. We’ve been so lucky to have the teams we’ve had. This one honestly got me more than the Bergeron one, because Krejci really has been such a silent leader. You just don’t hear bad things about the guy, much like Bergeron. This video just made me beyond proud to be a bruins fan.

1 Thing i was waiting for when i heard the rumours he was returning, i wont lie i forgot about the achievement as i dont get to watch every game being from uk but when i heard this i was annoyed to miss it live but happy he got the day to be about him and his family! (ashame he couldnt score that open netter at the end haha)

So good to see Johnny Bucyk still going ...Creston BC his home for many years has the Arena at the Creston Rec Complex named after him honoring his time a Bruin and a Creston resident. The Creston Thundercats of the KIJHL call the Bucyk arena home ice
