I think it's _incredibly_ kind and generous of her to show us how to play her songs. Most artists guard their songs ferociously! So thank you very much Laura 😊👍👍
kept me sane throughout the lock downs her music did and previously in another tricky period of my life. To cherish that very rescue I now still perform some of her songs at open mics. Giving a go at this one today. Forever grateful Laura
What a gift. Saw the performance on Jools’ Later last night. I hadn’t heard the song before and was blown away, and resolved to learn it ...then found this! Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for bringing this song into the world and, more! making a tutorial to share how to play it so us mere mortals can pick around with the lovely chords. You're a special musician, Laura, thanks so much. Much love
I watched and took notes and learned the song. A really good tutorial. I love this song. Some songs smash you in the soul and this be one of those songs.
Wonderful song. I'd worked out the first progression on my own but had no chance with the up the neck part.....until I found this. Thank you so much. Brilliant gesture in trying times.
This and Nouel are so fun to play, never knew fingerpicking can be so beautiful in Standard Tuning. Thank you Laura for showing us the chords to your songs, been a big fan since I Speak Because I Can.
I think it's pretty clear that Laura is a very intuitive guitarist, and doesnt find it a natural process to explain each chord fingering, although she tries very hard and does a great job, I think. Its a nice piece to play. thanks. :)
Dear Laura I don‘t know if you have time to read all the comments here. But l would like to thank you from the heart for all the musical gifts🥰 And would like to ask you what guitar you are using in your videos and which strings? Thank you, take care🙏🏼🌸
Hi Laura. May I ask what guitar make you have and string you use. Slide sound makes me believe they are not nylon strings as I once thought. Thanks for the music. You're a true talent.

Absolutely. I love this song, so much and I love it even more now that I can attempt to play it. I'm so impressed by Laura's generosity.

When a guitar that was recorded on an iphone mic and heard through a laptop speaker and still sounds amazing you know it's probably a pre-war Martin.
Or just an amazing artist
Is it really a pre-war Martin though, aren't those incredibly rare?
