Oh wow - husband approval! That's better than mine... he doesn't restrain me, but he certainly wouldn't watch me either! LOL Too fuinny... maybe if the power was out for like 4 days, and it was the only thing left to watch. (?) Oh that was funny. But How NICE your husband joined you! That's amazing. he must be so nice!! xx!

Hello from Pikesville, MD, USA! I am working on a double sided afghan for my bed. Waves on one side, hearts on the other. Bright green and rich orchid. Great vlog.
Live the blanket. I made one a few years ago with one dark and one light. It ended up weighing about 20 pounds. Love it. I live in Texas, originally from California. Love to hear the birds in the back ground. Enjoy your videos. WIA a shawl.
Hi Lisa! Thanks for introducing yourself! Your blanket sounds amazing. Do you have any pics you could post to our facebook group? What pattern are you using for your shawl? Chat soon, Christa. xx!
My youngest son "borrowed " the big blanket last time he was home, but I will take a picture when I go to his apartment. I am making up the pattern for the shawl as I go. I get inspiration from many places and try to crochet them.
Hi Rachel! So glad you like the WIP cards! Will be doing a tutorial on the Sunburst Granny Square Pillow, with a large Granny Square back. Would that help? xx!
Love your yarn wall, Christa! Scrumptious! I LOVE your yarn pool blanket and that Gumball yarn! Might have to buy some of it & get my sons to give it to me for Mother's Day so I don't break my rule this year to use up my yarn stash & only buy yarn I've run out of! Lol! Blessings. Kerryn
Hi from me, Jean Johnson, from Greenwood, IN US. The road kill bunny is adorable and I'm sure your son will be so proud when you teach his class how to crochet. ho ho Your scrap blanket is coming along very nice.
I am working on the Round ripple crochet baby blanket for my 1yr old niece, Lillian. Doing it in a varigated pink yarn. Its called Barcelona by loops & threads. It's a bulky 5. Color is Peony. Using a j hook and working out beautifully.
AR! Long time! What's your news? Met a lady who house sits a holiday home for a family from LF. Not in Florida, though! ;) Are you hooking anything these days? xx!
The Secret Yarnery not much excitement. Heading down today to FL to meet the hubs for a weekend sans offspring. Going to be busy soon getting ready to sell monster abode in favor of more simple living. I’ve got two baby blanket WIPs happening at the mo - my nieces and nephews insist on procreating! Good thing I’m not near you or I’d have a sick yarn collection. Hope all is well with you and your babes. XX
Hi christa, I am from Maryland and new subscriber of your channel.your channel is totally different. Many other things along with crochet. Rabbit scarf is awesome. Please teach us too the 🐰 scarf. rain pics are scary. Hope everyone is safe through driving and stay warm.
The Secret Yarnery it's a pattern that comes out every week. We're doing it with a group of women. We didn't know each other before. They are learning me how to read a pattern and make new friends at the same time 😀
I am Angella from USA in New Hampshire. I am currently working on a granny square blanket that my mom started before she passed away for my sister. My mother made me one and it was the last gift I received from her. I am still new to crochet but I am learning and love your videos.
Hi Angella! So nice to meet you! Finishing your mom's blanket is quite a task! Good for you. I'm glad crochet has found a way into your life. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Hi, Norma from Ontario Canada. On my hook I am in the process of a crocheting a king size granny squares afghan for my son and daughter. Also a car seat poncho for my grandson. On my needles I have a scarf and have a number of cross stitching projects on the go including a baby blanket for my oldest grandson
The Secret Yarnery A car seat poncho is to take the place of winter snow coats for babies in car seats. It is highly advised to use car seat ponchos or blankets instead if bulky coats and snowsuits. Reason being, it was determined that the outer materials coats and snowsuits are made of can be slippery. Therefore the seat belt could slip on the material and not protect the child as well as they are meant to do. With a car seat blanket or poncho the seatbelt goes directly on the child to hold them in better. Hope this makes sense
Wow nothing like that in Canada. I have been busy making circles, now I need to figure out how to make them squares. Anyway having fun. Thanks dear for your help.
hahah I was avoiding this video cause i thought you were going to tell a roadkill bunny story, then i realized you were holding a crocheted bunny! i watch all your videos, glad i finally got to watch this one! hehe
Hi my name is Carol I live in Casa Grande Arizona. I am 71 years old and I have had 2 strokes. Just started crocheting and just love it. Would love to be able to afford some nice yard but the super saver is what I can so am ok with that. I live with my husband of 45 years and my grandson whom I have raised and 1 pug. I love you so much always upbeat and happy. Your instructions are great and am learning lots. Thank you.
Hi Carol! Thanks for introducing yourself! So glad you found our little community and crochet! I love pugs! So cute!! I'm glad you are liking the tutorials - always hard to know if you are going too fast or too slow. :) xx!
Hi. My name is Diane and I live in Hiawassee in the beautiful mountains of north Georgia. This is the first vlog I’ve watched. It is a lot of fun to watch you. I really like your tutorials. Keep up the good work! I really enjoyed the video and information you told about Kenya. Stay safe on those muddy, flooded roads. How long have you lived in Kenya? Where are you originally from? Do you enjoy living in Kenya? Can’t wait for your next vlog! Have fun teaching those students on Friday. Until next week....💐💕
Hi Diane! I have lived in Kenya for 17 years or so. From Saskatchewan Canada! I LOVE Kenya. Definitely my home! Thanks for your encouragement for tomorrow! Will let you know how it goes! xx!
Hello from Georgia. I have 3 hooks going at the same time working on 3 shawls. I do knit but I'm faster with crochet so I stick to that. New to your channel and I'm loving it. The video at the end driving in the rain looked scary and it sounded like the wind was howling. Stay safe
I'm making the Boomerang shawl,Virus meets Granny stitch shawl and the South Bay Shawlette. When I finish these I want to start on the Pineapple Peacock pattern. It's a free pattern on Ravelry. I'm 71 and retired so I have time......I hope..LOL to complete all of them. I really enjoy watching your videos and I will have to go back and start from the beginning so I can catch up. Have a great day
That Pineapple Peackock shawl is on my list! Since the video tutorial is already done, I am looking for something equally spectacular that still needs a tutorial, but have yet to find anything as fabulous! Well... that isn't in Russian! They have some amazing patterns too. Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Hello 👋🏻! My name is Kyla ( Spring. Is my middle name that I go by) I live in West Virginia on top of a mountain ⛰! I knit , crochet and Needle Tat . I have crocheted for near 35 yrs , and just taught myself to tat and knit in December. I’m new to your channel and so far I love 💕 it!!!
I absolutely love watching your vlog. I am envious of your ladies. Right now I am using some of my stash to make "plate protectors" because I am tired of the clanking sound they make when you put them back into the cupboard.
PLATE PROTECTORS! So clever! What design are you using? Double crochet circles? Would love to see pics on our FB page, if you are on that. Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Hi Kristy! So nice to meet you! Bunting for your back porch - what a great idea!! Would love to see pics on Facebook if you are on that. Devine! Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Hi Christa! I really like all your vlogs. I'm trying to view all of them to catch up. You remind me of the snow queen in the movie Narnia (The lion the witch and the wardrobe), no offense but i really like her, so do you. Beautifully done blanket! Love the bird sound in the background.
Thank you! 😘 I will take pictures and share it on facebook! I am currently working here in KSA, recently hooked on crochet to kill spare time after work. But I find yarns here a little expensive in a bookstore just 2mins walkf from where I stay.
Hi Christa!, I am a new subscriber, think this is my second reply and I haven't introduced myself, silly me.,, my name is nancy,I love in Hampton,Virginia,I love your blogs.and especially your scrap blanky, I would love to have the pattern.,and of course your yarn shop,,absolutely love it!,, have a great day.
I really love your podcasts! And I can’t wait to start the CAL! My big questions of the day are, “How did you get to Kenya? Was is your husband’s work or is Kenya where he’s from? What is your husband’s job?” I loved the story about your orphanage. Maybe that’s what took you to Kenya.
Hi Kathy! I was travelling and fell in love with the place! On my second trip, I was set up on a blind date with my husband - the rest is history! We were married 10 months later, and that was 15 years ago! I'm a lifer! :) xx!!
The thought of driving in the rain is giving me anxiety yuck! Yay for life skills class! I’ve been waiting for an update on that. But really when will we be able to purchase some wip cards in the near future🙄
The Secret Yarnery I am on row 65 now and loving it :). I have gone the very multicoloured route but people seem to love it :). If you would like to see it, a few of my videos have it in showing some of the rows so you could see how it looks in lots of colour and Kim from the channel Bluechrub has it done in a more natural/neutral colour palette. I find see others work helps me decide to make it or not lol.
Oh my gosh that yarn wall is EVERYTHING!!!!!! love it. Also I love the scrap blanket your working on, so beautiful and colorful. I'm about to start one myself. As I said before I don't crochet I knit. Really enjoy your pod cast.
Hi Christa! The roadkill bunny is the cutest! You could do a whole series of roadkill! Love it! I always like to ask you questions (cuz I'm nosey), how often do visit Canada or the states? Do you plan on living in Kenya forever? Oohhh, the yarn wall...in envy. Take care! Cary
Last time I was in the States... was a trip with my son for an admission playdate at a private school. He was two, and yes - NAILED it! ha ha ha! That was... uh... 9 years ago! Can you imagine? Hazard of adopting kids: no passport for him/her until the adoption is finalized... and I have a knack for spacing them out - one after the other! LOL ;)
Fantastic! Loved your shop stash. I'd love to buy Kenyan acrylic and the chenille yarn. Do u ship to USA, and u never got into your back story like you today me u would. Do you sell kits? I want to make the roadkill scarf to make my grandgirls smile and laugh! I adore ur vlog.and the wip cards
Deborah! You are so right! I didn't find my Vlog notes until... like 20 minutes ago. APPARENTLY in my scheduler/diary. Whaaat? lol Wrote a new list for next week. And know now where it is. ;) xx!!
HEY,Christa! So nice seeing your beautiful face today! Thanks so much for the mention!!! I was so giddy HAPPY lol. I am in absolute love with your shop. I am trying to memorize each item on the shelves haha. You know, in case I ever get to Kenya! I can't wait for the Cal!! Whoo hoo, bring it on! All that rain puts a damper on the spirit but I'm so glad to hear you still being your chipper self. Well, love from Texas, and stay dry!! 💞🇨🇱💞
Hi Dana!! So nice to hear from you! How's the weather in Texas? The CAL is starting today - a day early! Tah DAH! What yarn have you picked? Chat soon, Christa. xx!
The Secret Yarnery Christa, Texas has been very fair, weather wise. It's been really nice. Sunshine but not hot yet. Great weather for a picnic in the park! I just viewed the first 5rows to the Cal, and I am so excited. I think I will use Lion Brand ice cream in 2 different colorways for each section. I don't know how it's going to look, but that is the lightest yarn I have on hand presently. Must be used lol. I joined the group and the event page as well. Will definitely post pictures once it gets going. 😊
Hi Christine! Website is in the works. You can email me your mailing address to secretyarnery @gmail.com, and then pay via world-remit.com. Cards are $5 for 25 (5 of each style) Hope that helps? xx!!
Hi Sheila! So glad you found us! Love Washington State. Always used to drive down to Seattle (from Vancouver) to hit up that monthly auction at U of W. Fabulous! What's on your hook? xx!
Hi Zac! Haven't had good malaysian food in decades! ...what is the name of those flakey flat breads that pull apart and are SO dreamy?? Sigh... Flash backs to mid 90's for me! lol! Your WIPs sound amazing! Would love to see pics on our FB group, if you are on Facebook. Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Roti Canai? They were my fav too. But instead of eating it with curry I eat them with sambal(the one that serve with nasi lemak) with those crispy anchovies. Yum.
Hi I’m from Massachusetts USA and I don’t have any yarn scraps because I have just started two Afghans. One is almost finished and the other I just started. The first one I am going to raffle it off for Christmas and jus for the day nursing’s and the aides that work during the day. . I live in a nursing home and have just started crocheting again. So I hope I can get it done for Christmas.
still eying, as usual, the multicolor mercerized threads as,we'll as the self striping magic DK! followed the link but didn't see them for sale. I'm currently designing a special thread square for a CAL. greetings from northern VA (though I am Italian -American).
9.0mm, Melody! 2 strands of yarn. Thanks SO much for the shout out - you made my day! Was laying in bed deciding if it was time to get up, and made my whole day special. Thank you! xx!
Hi Christa, I'm Cheryl from Pennsylvania, USA. I love your vlogs, I'm a new subscriber. Your scraptastic blanket is fabulous, did you use one or two strands of yarn when making it? I really enjoy hearing about Kenya and seeing all the videos, thank you!
Hi Cheryl! I'm so glad you found our channel! Thanks for introducing yourself! I used 2 strands of chunky acrylic (size 4) to make the Scraptastic Blanket. What's on your hook? xx!
Nothing at the moment. I'm getting ready to make myself a shawl or poncho, I haven't decided which one I'm crocheting yet. I also have a lot of odds and ends I want to make a scrapghan with.
Hi Eileen! No I don't. I followed a paid pattern on Etsy for the first 6 rows, and then went rogue - changed a cat into a bunny. ;) www.etsy.com/listing/556158911/crochet-pattern-scarf-fox-cat-raccoon?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=crochet%20cat%20scarf%20pattern&ref=sr_gallery-2-20
HI all from New Orleans here! Busy week here. Im a teacher so end of quarter is here. Cant wait for summer to binge watch and make mega projects! Working on a crochet sampler afghan
Hello, my name is Lisa and I'm originally from Ohio ,but currently living in Northern Michigan. It's been snowing all day and calling for up to 8" more. Right now I'm getting ready to start making my mom and my oldest son a blanket. I love your scrapit blanket absolutely beautiful. I wish I had enough scraps to make one,but I've only been crocheting steadily about 6 months and don't have nearly enough. I'm sure in due time I will though. You have some beautiful yarns I especially like the cakes...so pretty. Oh and I love listening to your bird in the background. My youngest son use to have a cockatiel and I miss having her around. Really enjoy watching your vglogs ,made me feel like I was there with you looking at all your vibrant yarns on the shelves. Thank you for sharing.
The yarns sound amazing. Love to try the silk one, but couldn't make a pom pom out of it! Love the fact you drive on the same side of the road as us over here in the UK. Good luck with the school class, you are braver than me! Thanks for another lovely video. xxJane
Hi Jane!! Fret not - I am trying to drag some reinforcements with me for teaching on Friday! lol What's on your hook these days? How's the weather up in the UK? Warming up?
We are just recovering from having snow I mean serious snow - for the UK - we had over 10 inches fall last Thursday. Schools closed, couldn't get to work, so we all went sledging. But today the sun is out and taking all the slushy snow that is left away. I'm crocheting some bunting for my baby grand daughters bedroom with her name on. Lilley Belle so made lots of L's & E's. She is one in a couple of week and we are going over to the Isle of Man to visit them. Also hubby bout me some interchangeable needles for Valentines so been loving using them made hats, cowls, finger-less mitts. One day I'll try socks again. Tried them on DPN's but just ended up with a tangled mess! Looking forward to the CAL. Never enough hours in the day for crafting! xxJane
Oh how wonderful! That bunting sounds ADORABLE! Lucky family to have you! Can't wait for the CAL either. And that snow sounds record breaking! Imagine. xx!
Driving in the rain. Looks like PA USA where I live now. And the flooding and potholes like my old hometown, Staten island USA. Can you giveaway a crochet vacation with room and board in Kenya. Hah hah! I'm a newcomer to your channel. You are so bubbly serious.
Hey I just love all that yarn I don't even know which would be my favorite. I hope you enjoy Friday. About Kenya what type of food is popular there and what is the money difference between US dollars and money there. And what about like the cost of living such as rent amounts and other bills you may have. Like lights and water bills. XXXXOOO
Hi I'm Ailsa, I'm in Manchester, UK. Love watching these vlogs! We saw a program recently about the giraffe hotel in Nairobi, my kids would love to know if you live near it :)
Hi Ailsa! We sure are! Giraffe Manor is in a suburb of Nairobi! It's about a 45 minute drive - other side of the city! But so fun to go and feed the giraffe - my kids LOVE it! It's awesome. xx!!

Hi Carolyne! Between WIPS! What a rare occurrence around The Yarnery! I admire your restrain! Thanks for introducing yourself! How's the weather in Arkansas?
Being between WIPS is rare 4 me also. I ALWAYS seem 2 have something going on because not only do I crochet but I needlepoint, sew, & embroidery. The weather here is weird right now. It's pretty & warm during the day but still getting cold @ night. I'm looking 4ward 2 many more videos
Hi Christa! I’ve been enjoying watching your old vlogs from when you started your channel - the market was so cool to see! It reminded me of the Arab Shook, when I was in Israel! I’m wondering what made you stop selling your own yarn line? The yarns look gorgeous and I would think you’d have a great business with it? I’m just curious, so if you don’t mind sharing the details, I’d love to hear them. 😊 Thank you in advance! 💜🧶
Oh thank you so much, Stitches by Sharon H! So glad you are enjoying them! Turns out Im not much into people fondling my yarn balls... who knew! HA HA HA!! Shhh.... ;) 🌺🌻🌸

I am from Nebraska. I can’t wait for the CAL but my yarn won’t be here until Monday😒 Right now I’m finishing up an “In Bud” shawl from the “Shawl Project” book. I’ve also started my Christmas gift crocheting. I am making about 40 dishcloths. Thanks for the tour of your shop.
I'v made three king size blankets throws I always do a couple of rows light and then two rows of darker wool that's really the only rules I have when I'm making my blankets I always put a border on my blankets at least three rows 👍
Oh my goodness all that water and rain just terrifying, I love your WIP cards, the one about diamonds and the one with the 10 reasons for yarn cracked me up, love them. That pink black and white yarn is just gorgeous, I love the cakes beside it to, we'll what yarn don't ya love anyways, if I was the Kim that got the shout out thank you very much, such an honor to be mentioned. Oh I forgot to mention your scrap blanket I just am in love with that also, I'm going to have to make me one, I live in Columbus Ohio and it gets freezing here
Of COURSE that shout out was to YOU!!! There's only ONE Kim. ;) Does Ohio count as "the mid west"? It's my husband's favorite part of the US. Go figure! He loves the cold. SO much crochet to do - too few hours in the day! Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Yea we are the mid west we have had some record breaking COLD temps this winter, we had a couple nice days now it's snowing again today. They say in columbus, if you don't like the weather wait a minute it'll change. We have like 8 months of cold here I hate the cold weather. Thanks so much for the shout out made my day.

Hello there from Boston, Massachussets. I'm a newbie here. Just started following you last week. You have so much yarn, I wouldn't know what to do with it all. I love the colorful yarn. I'm a color girl, but also love black nd white. I have a combined stitch blanket on my hook (sc,hdc,dc). I can't wait to finish it. I don't know how to post pics on UA-cam. Anyhow, I always talk too much. I have a couple of questions. You drive on the left side of the road there? And is this a city or a rural area? Thanks for reading this long post!

Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Cute sayings❣
Hi, Norma from Ontario Canada. On my hook I am in the process of a crocheting a king size granny squares afghan for my son and daughter. Also a car seat poncho for my grandson. On my needles I have a scarf and have a number of cross stitching projects on the go including a baby blanket for my oldest grandson
Hi Norma! Love my fellow Canadians! What is a car seat poncho? I get the feeling 2 of my kids would LOVE to have those! Great WIPS! xx!
The Secret Yarnery
A car seat poncho is to take the place of winter snow coats for babies in car seats.
Hi i'm Dot from the UK :) love the blanket looks very warm, and the road kill rabbit is so cute :) I'm also a new subscriber
Hi Dot! Thanks for introducing yourself! Glad you found us. What's on your hook? Chat soon, Christa. xx!

Go circles GO! You got this. xx!

Oh! ha ha ha ha!!! I could see how that would be alarming. Sorry! xx!
Stay safe
Glad you found us, Nancy! Your shawls sound amazing! What patterns are you using? xx!
Chat soon, Christa. xx!
Jacqueline, I'm from Pennslyvania. I'm currently working on finishing a baby blanket for my cousin and starting a blanket for a friend's wedding gift.
Hi Jacqueline! Nice to meet you! Such a nice friend you are! I'm still in the hoard-all-my-crochet-blankets stage. lol! xx!

Hi Spring! Nice to meet you! The top of a mountain sounds like the perfect place to burst with creativity! Well done! xx!
Chat soon, Christa. xx!
The Secret Yarnery yes I am using double crochet circles. I will post a pic on the FB page soon. By the way I am from Blossvale NY.

Hi Christa! I really like all your vlogs. I'm trying to view all of them to catch up. You remind me of the snow queen in the movie Narnia (The lion the witch and the wardrobe), no offense but i really like her, so do you. Beautifully done blanket! Love the bird sound in the background.
Hi Regency! What a pretty name you have! Thanks so much for the compliment! What's on your hook these days? xx!
Thank you! 😘 I will take pictures and share it on facebook! I am currently working here in KSA, recently hooked on crochet to kill spare time after work. But I find yarns here a little expensive in a bookstore just 2mins walkf from where I stay.
Cyndi from St Cloud FL. Right near Walt Disney World. Im currently making a hook case in an attempt to get more organized. I love that blanket!

:) xx!!
Thanks for getting back to me! You’re an amazing lady!
The thought of driving in the rain is giving me anxiety yuck! Yay for life skills class! I’ve been waiting for an update on that. But really when will we be able to purchase some wip cards in the near future🙄
Send me your mailing address, Hayley! secretyarnery@gmail.com
Hi a new subscriber here :) I am from Salisbury Wiltshire in England and I currently am working on my rings of change blanket :).
Hi Sonia! Wow - what a big project! How far along are you? Are you loving it? I'd like to try one of her patterns one day. xx!
LOL ;)
Hi I'm Paulette from Illinois. I have so many projects started. I love your blanket. Looks warm.
Hi Paulette! Thanks for introducing yourself! Love Illinois. What's your favorite WIP?

Roti Canai? They were my fav too. But instead of eating it with curry I eat them with sambal(the one that serve with nasi lemak) with those crispy anchovies. Yum.
That flooding is crazy, I can’t believe people still drive in it. I would just stay home 🤣

still eying, as usual, the multicolor mercerized threads as,we'll as the self striping magic DK! followed the link but didn't see them for sale. I'm currently designing a special thread square for a CAL. greetings from northern VA (though I am Italian -American).
Hi Maria! I love those self striping yarns as well.... so delicious! Your square for the a CAL sounds fun! xx!
Hi! I am Kris from western NY. I have lots of wips. You should punch a hole in the wip cards so that you can pin or tie them to your actual project.
Hi Kris! I totally thought of doing that! A few holes along the bottom of the cards. Good thinking! xx!
I need your blanket! What size hook did you use, please! And thank you for the hello
9.0mm, Melody! 2 strands of yarn. Thanks SO much for the shout out - you made my day! Was laying in bed deciding if it was time to get up, and made my whole day special. Thank you! xx!
Hi Arkansas here. Trying to make a sweater
Love the vlog... do you have the pattern for the rabbit? My sister would love to crochet her;)
Hi Eileen! No I don't. I followed a paid pattern on Etsy for the first 6 rows, and then went rogue - changed a cat into a bunny. ;)

Hi Cherie! Nice to meet you! Summertime Crochet! Love that! What is on your mega project list?
AWE! Thanks Lisa! So glad you found us - and CROCHET! That's fabulous! What pattern are you using for your blankets? xx!
I think one is called Bernat Lush life but adding an additional color to it for my son and haven't decided yet which one I want to make for my mom .
Hi, I'm Naomi. From Hawaii but in Kansas. Thank you for you vlog.
driving through water washes the grease out of your ball joints. They rust fast
Well that explains it! Luckily it only rains a few weeks a year. xx!
Thanks, Deborah! If I ever get independently wealthy - a crochet holiday giveaway would definitely be on my list!! xx!!
So nice to get a reply! Plz get your website up and running.
Hey I just love all that yarn I don't even know which would be my favorite. I hope you enjoy Friday. About Kenya what type of food is popular there and what is the money difference between US dollars and money there. And what about like the cost of living such as rent amounts and other bills you may have. Like lights and water bills. XXXXOOO
GREAT questions, Denise! I'm writing those down right NOW!
It's awesome. xx!!

Thank you in advance! 💜🧶
Oh thank you so much, Stitches by Sharon H! So glad you are enjoying them! Turns out Im not much into people fondling my yarn balls... who knew! HA HA HA!! Shhh.... ;) 🌺🌻🌸

Robbie Hambleton from Sedan Kansas making baby blanket
Hi Robbie! Nice to meet you!
Hi Barbara! Great projects you have going! And how fabulous you are working ahead to Christmas! Bravo. xx!
I'v made three king size blankets throws I always do a couple of rows light and then two rows of darker wool that's really the only rules I have when I'm making my blankets I always put a border on my blankets at least three rows 👍
Clever! That is a good rule for blankets. Do you use 1 strand of yarn? Would love to see pics if you are on Facebook. xx!
Lovely weather! Reminds me of my summer holiday last year. August in Sweden...Luckily you don't have to go outside to crochet!
I made 5 scrap afghans with 2 strands and I have enough scrap to make a 6th one
That's awesome, Wendy Cone! Thanks for sharing!! xx
I love your vlog, I've been watching all of your tutorials. I'm going to be making the Christmas balls and the daisy pillow cover I think it's called. I'm making bunny easter baskets right now for my 7 grandchildren. See ya next week and stay hooked and dry.
Christa, always love your crochet vlogs and your tours. Looking forward to joining your CAL on Friday. Best scrap blanket ever. Definitely gonna steal that idea too. I made another Sand-dollar blankets and gave it to one of my Physical Therapists this week (they just moved to the beach) and she was thrilled. Great pattern and tutorial thank you.
Oooh Diane! I hope you took pics! Your stitches are so divine, and your blankets always turn out so great!!
Hi Crista, I would love to get some of the yarn from there in Kenya, is it possible for me to purchase any?
Hello I'm Ann Massey from Nashville, Tennessee. I have on my hook is a beautiful baby blanket for a girl and hats and beanies. After I finish it I will donate it to Knit & Crochet of Tennessee.
Hi Ann! Thanks for introducing yourself! Your crochet projects will touch so many lives! Good for you. xx!
Hi Borealis! We drive on the left side of the road, right side of the car. ;) That was the outskirts of the suburbs - heading out of Nairobi. :) xx!
