Not necessary! There many privileged people(castewise and financial wise) whom I know are genuine with left ideology. But there as majority of privileged people who are working in Govt sector and influential places just claim that they are left because to avoid social stigma. When they see they will be benefited by joining right wing then their true color's will be revealed. eg: those political party member or their family members switching to party with opposite ideology.

What makes both ideologies toxic is when its followers decide to discriminate others and treat others like sub-humans - whether it is right wing followers killing other humans on the basis of what they eat OR left wing followers denying government jobs to non- politicial general population.
