Bought a new 1600 let's hope it lasts as long as my old one . on a budget 385 delivery old one taken away and new one installed. Thanks again 🤗

I have the 9 kgs version and it has been wobbling a lot since new!
Yes, the travel bolts have been removed (all 4 of them), yes it is all level and not rocking.
I have noticed, however, that 2 of the travelling bolts were slightly bent when I initially removed them.
The machine washes fine, but at over 1000 RPM it walks around the room.

    • @MysteryOfSounds
      @MysteryOfSounds 23 дні тому

Is the washer OK now? It's been 8 months since then. I have the exact same washer, but it's perfectly level, so it doesn't wobble in general, but sometimes does it.
I think Hoover often has a problem with load balancing. Especially when you wash clothes that can get tangled, or a sheet with smaller items together.
If you need a reference, you can watch the entire cycle. I recorded it and posted it on my channel. The only major cons - it is noisy during spinning. Probably normal for Hoover...

I had a very similar Hoover 10kg dynamic next washing machine. I experienced the same issues with the spin cycle. I also had a number reliability problems with the machine. Having a brand new machine break down more than once within the first 3 months of ownership is simply unacceptable.
I was so disappointed with the machine that I decided to sell it and replace it with another brand of washing machine.

We have this washing machine (in black). We bought it because it matches the Dryer we already had. It cannot do the 10kg on almost all settings so that's a massive negative. Other than matching our dryer it was one of the key reasons for purchase. It has always bounced when going into spin, especially with heavy items - even when we keep these to a minimum. We were so concerned we had our floor professionally re-levelled but it still bounced and walked on various wash appropriate settings. We had an engineer to check it over but he determined that nothing was broken and that it was all set up correctly. The belt came off too at one point but that was a month after the warrantee ran out.
It has to be the worst washing machine I have ever owned. We are forced to use slower and lighter load settings so the majority of its suggested benefits are unavailable to us. It most definitely doesn't do what it says on the tin. These are still on the market so avoid at all costs. Much cheaper machines can do so much better. When I was growing up, Hoover products had a reputation for quality and longevity but for me and my family, that reputation can now be completely dismissed. Will never invest in Hoover again.

I have just bought the 9kg version of this machine. I have it sitting on well screwed down floor boards and 18mm ply.
When spinning with a load it shakes quite a lot, it still spins with an apparent unbalanced load. The other day it actually moved out of position with bed sheets inside.
It's level and all four feet are down and tight, I'm starting to think maybe it was damaged in transit. I have removed the transport bolts.

We have just purchased a 9kg version of this washing machine and have looked all over for an explanation of the extra functions on the right hand panel, now fully explained, thankyou.
The bearings had gone on our Hotpoint washing machine and after their recent fiascos we weren't going to buy any more Hotpoint appliances. As for Hoover reliability I guess that we'll just have to wait and see. Next to replace is the Hotpoint ( already modified ) tumble dryer and the Hotpoint fridge which has rust appearing at the bottom of the door. All just over 5 years old.

i have the 8kg version of this washing machine and it does the job and today i had to do an auto clean and put cleaning stuff in as it was smelling so hopefully when finished it doesnt smell. i mostly use the 59min one too. also one thing i found strange was that when i select auto clean, u can only change temp to 40 max. where as the highest temperature will break down bacteria and mold as such better so i dont know why it would only be max 40 and also the spin speed is 400.

Blimey! I didnt know the Hoover made a washing machine!.... If they are anything like here in the USA the new washer's get confused if you add too much soap, if it's unbalanced etc. They don't use enough water either. I had a new top load washer that took 3 hours to decide what it wants to do and it kept saying fault on the screen or long drain, kept going in circles while the water ran and ran......water and electric went up with using that one..I took it out smashed it with the tractor. I got tired of un plugging it to reset it only to have it go in circles again with the water running all the while..i dug my dads old upright Kenmore 25years old washer, I put a new pump on it....still works to this day, do a load in 25 minutes no matter what u put in it, it stays balanced, gets the laundry cleaner than the new ones ever will, COMPUTERS and EPA DONT BELONG IN LAUNDRY.....good day to you all

I have a cheap Bosch washing machine and I can relate about how annoying it is to see the machine constantly trying to ballance the load. And the most annoying thing is when it gets the load balanced the first time, yet still it decides it could do better, so then it rebalances...and makes things worse

Cotton is the energy label program, eco cotton, you have to select whites for use the normal cotton. Any way, if you want to do an extra rinse you have just the plus water options right? I have an lg slim but inside is 41 liters the volumes of the drum, that means 4 kg washing machine, i can't wash my blanket in it! Now the new lg is 1cm more deep, 47 instead of 46 but he drum is 58liters almost 20 liter more 😍 Hoover candy is he only that do the drum bigger than the others in slim version, but is so expensive in offert500 euro, (like i payed mine last year) so i want to get the last version of this hoover 9 kg 61liters drum deep 52cm and have the black door panel...but im afraid that dont wash good like lg and is louder than lg on spin cycle

      Like self-cleaning ovens ? 😁 hehe
Not exactly, but run an empty cycle with hot water and washing machine cleaner. It is almost like self-cleaning 😀
      And remember:
      - After use, leave the door open to allow airflow to prevent mold buildup.
      - Wash the drawer regularly
      - Clean the filter every few months to maintain efficiency.
      - Avoid overusing detergent to prevent buildup inside the machine, and avoid capsules. They may not dissolve fully in colder water, leaving residue in the drum or on laundry.

Would I get the error 03 if it’s a full load or could it be something else? I’ve drained the filter a few times, but I still get the error code only on Daily wash cycle. Any ideas?

I work in a hospital and normally wash ed using my daily 60. I now use the cottons for a through wash since covid. My previous washing machine was a service. It lasted just over 10 years and washed amazing. I might try a hair or Samsung washing machine next time. I really find though thr Hoover does a very good job its a very noisey machine.

Make sure it is level first. I used a spirit level on mine but my floor is pretty level and has a concrete base. It should not be deafeningly loud on spin, especially if you have the brushless motor version. If you bought it new, I would complain to the retailer if you can’t sort the problem.

This seems to have an inverter motor, like an LG, so its not got the usual loud whine that the cheaper models of Hoover washer make from their old fashioned brushed universal motors.
I think the cheap quality build, using the lightest and thinnest metals in the casing, and very cheap quality suspension, means the machine would not tolerate unbalanced spins, like the machines of old, which spun even the most unbalanced loads with no damage, so these machines have to ensure the load is as balanced as possible, to give the weak drum supports and casing a chance of not being damaged.
Just out of interest, where is this machine made? I have the Dynamic Mega tumble dryer, and thats made in Turkey, but I wondered where the washing machines were made.

    •  5 років тому

I have a smaller Dynamic Next and it just spunn it self broken and now causes all my electricity to go poof when it tries to go high RPM in the last part of the drying part of the washing. Have contacted Hoover support for this and we'll see what the results are. It was bought in 2017 and has been hard to live with since the drum are VERY unstable at the slightest unbalance and makes the machine jump around uncontrollably. The motor sound is very high pitched and almost unbearable in the small 64 square meters appartment I live in, but at the same time, you need to be in the room as soon as its RPM goes up.... Frustrating.

Now that the Candy Group are apart of Haier I can imagine that the days of of the reaming ex Candy factories in the EU (which again AFIK focus on built in laundry in Italy and cooking appliances in France) are numbered.
