First Squid Arrive in Monterey Bay!

On this episode of TLA. I travel to Monterey to continue my search the elusive 50 inch halibut. With schools of bait fish having arrive already I was hopeful the larger ocean halibut would be around. I found out something better has started arrive! Fishing on the inside I was greeted with a large whale watching boat who nearly ran me over and my reel set off a viral fire storm of hate online against ME!! Those passenger boats have no f@$king etiquette. They blow through kayakers all the time. I took out new kayakers one time and the SHEWOLF rolled right past us, nearly flipping us over. I wonder if they could be cited for intentionally passing you by and flipping one over. It gets me heated.

I feel you brother. We deal with this week in and week out. Do everything in our power to keep ourselves out of harms way and visible but when we bring the issue to light. We become the problem on the internet and called “entitled” haha whenever that means. Cuz we use the ocean that is everyone’s property??
