Cannon in game is not plot armor. Jayce and victor are dead and so is Warrick. Jinx is alive though. Right before the explosion there is pink streak headed towards one o the air vents. Cait is looking at schematics of those airvents while holding the monkey head of the grenade Jinx set off. So they were already down there. You see and airship like Ep 1 where Powder says "One these days I'm going to ride in one of those" and the words THE END are written in Jinx style. Jinx is taking "Silco's" and Ekko's advice about walking away and leaving some things behind to move forward
Why is Ambessa attacking?: She want her immortal soldiers. For that she needs Viktor alive (Singed said as much). Viktor is dying because of Jace's attack (he said "Jace's attack did its work" & "I sense my twilight approaching") To prevent Viktor's death, he needs to absorb the Wild rune beneath the Hexgate (He said it could cure/fix him).
One nice touch - Jinx's final outfit has a pink X over her chest. It's mirroring the blue X used in the murals of her in the beginning of the season, but also bringing in Vi's colors.
i am pretty sure that Jinx is not dead. In a show with such an eye for details, why did Cait look at the plans of the hexgate showing ducts under the thing at the end? And remember, literally the first words Powder said in this show! The kids did the parkour, then Powder steps next to vi while an Airship flies over them, and she said "one day i want to fly in one of those". The show ends with exactly the same Airship flying into the sunset and then the jinx scribble appear.
A show that good would not do all of this without a reason. It was the same in S01E09 when jixes rocket was flying towards the council we saw a frame of blue light behind Mel. Now we know that was her magic saving her and jayce. I bet dollar for pennies that a future show will reveal that Jinx survived!
Why does the show put Jinx as broken since Isha died in Epi 8 and 9 and she wanted to die and now overly emotional fans want to torture Jinx and deny what she wants?
@@privatecaboose250 Well, Vi had a clear death wish earlier too. When she nearly drank/fight herself to death until jinx got her out of that slump. Ekko did the same here for Jinx when he saved her in her lair. Of course did Isha´s death hurt Jinx, but wounds can heal, like when viktor saved jayes from jumping of a ledge or when jayes did the same for Viktor. It's nothing emotional, it's just looking at the details and connecting the dots
@nadal1275 Not all wounds heal and Vi didn't try to commit suicide unlike Jinx, the two are not comparable Just because Vi went downhill over the break up doesn't mean Jinx would go the same way. Jinx while falling down was smiling and accepting her fate. This is wishful thinking on your part, just because you have a emotional attachment to Jinx. That is torturing Jinx, keeping her alive just because you are sad over the death of Jinx That is totally selfish on your part.
@@privatecaboose250 Lol you do know that Jinx is not real? She was never alive and nobody is torturing anyone by analysing the show. You should think about looking in a mirror when you talk about wishful thinking. Anyway, you are way too personal for my taste. so, have fun
@nadal1275 Yes I do know that Jinx is a fictional character. Just hate ppl acting as if main characters cannot die when their isn't any rules stating they can't die.
Isha did not die trying to kill Vander. Isha died trying to give the wounded Jinx, and by extension Vi and Cait, room to get away from all the Noxian soldiers surrounding them and she succeeded. Jinx surviving that encounter lead to her having her realization in prison that the only way to stop her pain was to walk away, and her initial plan to do so was suicide. Ekko talked her out of it, but she realized in that prison cell when Vi came for her.. and again here when Vi was tunnel visioned on Vander.. that her sister was never going to be able to let go if she's around. Which thats Vi's flaw, she is so devoted to the people she loves and so self destructively focused on protecting everyone but herself that she can't let anyone go to her own detriment. So Jinx left as she originally planned, but instead of suicide its heavily implied she's on that blimp at the end and is just leaving the city behind. Isha sacrificed herself to save someone she loved and she did save her, in more ways than one.
the climbing and reaching robots/viktors evolved reminded me of world war z movie zombies, how they climb and move together. sort of like a zombie swarm.
A while back you asked for a list of what characters were playable in the games, and I deferred, because you didn't want spoilers. At the time, Warwick was only showing up in background shots, and Viktor was still coughing blood when he breathed heavy, so I didn't want to lead to you speculating how he might have to change to go toe to toe with the rest. Here's the playable characters that were named in the show, and had speaking lines: Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ekko, Jayce, Ambessa, Singed, and Warwick. I'm avoiding the rest, as we don't know where future seasons will go. For example, the Black Rose lady that Mel kept interacting with is credited as "Illusionary Sorceress," and is voiced by Minnie Driver. I'm guessing when you cast an actress like that, it's not just for a few scenes. Lastly, I recall someone mentioning that you should check out Schnee's analysis videos. He does an excellent job from a story structure analysis. If you're interested in more, Georgia Dow does a dive into the psychological states of the characters, and Necrit does videos showing all the hidden details and how they tie into the lore of the setting. I'd recommend all three. Thanks for sharing your time enjoying the show!
I've seen a lot of fan theories surrounding Jinx's sacrifice and I'd like counter a few of the more common ones with a different point of view: - Concerning the supposed "shimmer trail" being Jinx's escape just before the monkey bomb explodes: watch the beginning of episode 9 where Jinx tries to end it over and over with the same monkey bomb. If you can't see the purple lights, pause it at the beginning of the explosions. Her monkey bomb is a combination of Chemtech, Hextech and Shimmer(!) ... (they clearly show that at the beginning of the scene) - About the ending scene with Caitlyn: she's documenting what happened for future generations, completely in the Kiramman tradition using schematics and voice recording (=her monologue leading into that scene). She then smiles when she hears Vi humming and walks over to her and starts the conversation by mentioning her humming/singing. (I think it's quite a leap to conclude that Jinx escaped through the vents based on Caitlyn using schematics in the same way her mother did) - The airship at the very end being "the airship Powder always wanted to ride": airships were previously also used to show Piltover's progress and considering what Caitlyn was talking about in her monologue voice-over at the start of the scene, that seems like an appropriate way of ending that scene. (Also: Powder/Jinx already flew on one in episode 4 season 1)
@@harryballsak1123 Thank you for all the evidence you provided about how the show shows us how she didn't die. They are showing us already in season 1 that Jinx is willing to kill herself (bridge scene anyone?), after that in season 2: - they show us that after Silco died she was "already dead inside" and ready to "watch it all burn" - they show us that she's totally OK with Vi killing her, saying "I'm glad it's you ... it had to be you" - they show us she's extremely depressed and self harming after losing Isha and Vander - they show us how she actually ended her life multiple times(!) while Ekko tries to save her - they show us that she heroically sacrifices herself for Vi, hugging Warwick on the way down and blowing them up using her monkey bomb Clearly they are showing us all that to make us think she's still alive, right ?
@@_MicZ_ So they are throwing red herrings then? And several of them? Also using your logic Ekko stopped her form killing herself so she can go on a few scenes later just to kill herself?
I'm a fan of letting the weight of character death stay permanent. It takes a lot of willpower from a creative company to say "ok we're done with this story, let's end it right". The pressure will be to milk the adoration of the viewers of the show for more money, and all creatives involved in the show will be poked and prodded to water down their work for easy $, resurrect Jinx and follow the pattern of slowly turning a great show into subsequent cash-grabs of lesser and lesser quality (see: star wars, indiana jones, marvel, etc). I hope they can hold fast and keep progressing with completely new stories with a different cast of characters, evolve the now triumphant mix of 3D and 2D elements, expand the world they've created and kick more ass for the next couple decades.
