CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Rod (Andy Samberg) prepares to roll down a hill, but his strange pronunciation of the safe word confuses Kevin (Jorma Taccone).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The comedy trio known as Lonely Island attempt their first feature-length comedy with Hot Rod. Andy Samberg stars as Rod Kimble, an inept would-be stuntman who believes his dad worked for daredevil Evel Knievel. His stepfather abuses him at every opportunity, but Rod keeps attempting tricks on his moped. After the stepfather becomes very ill, Rod gets the brilliant idea to attempt a stunt more dangerous that Knievel ever considered in order to raise the money to cure him. His master plan being that, after the stepfather improves, Rod will finally get his revenge and beat him in a fight.

Funniest fight scene ever. Rico is a true friend. He didnt hesitate at all, just straight on him kicking his balls. Thats why this scene is so great that there was so many other ways to fix this problem but he went straight for the attack. What a great friend.

I saw this movie in the theaters with my Dad as a kid and to this day I've never heard a group of people laugh as hard they did at this scene that night.
I love everything about this scene, but for some reason, "TRASH!" at 1:36 is my favorite. Gets me every time.

Yeeeessss!!!! Rico was easily my favorite character in this, although I did cheer for the main character when he finally got to prove to his stepdad that he was a man.
Rico is such a good friend he'll defend them when danger comes around.
Andy Samberg is undeniably comedic gold, and his performance in "Hot Rod" is absolutely hilarious. Akiva Schaffer's direction truly turns it into a classic comedy that is sure to leave you in stitches.

Danny said in an interview that there weren't any lines for him in the script to say during his fight. All the stuff about green tea, church, trash, and the hat were improvised by Danny on the spot. I love this man.
This is easily one of the parts I quote most from this movie. Oh man. Makes me laugh EVERY time.
