People don’t really get that it’s something I have to do self soothe and think I’m trying to show off or something. I was always really self conscious about it growing up. It feels sooo much more pleasing than one would think, especially things like the buildups or the drops (it helps that I know japanese, hitting all the lyrics feels like playing a rythm game irl).

Y'know, the funny thing is this video reminded me of something that happened in one of my classes that played out almost exactly like this. There was a girl (didn't know her, just shared the same class with her) that was part of the local school choir, I guess someone asked her what here singing was like, and almost on command she belted out this really great operatic that when on for, like, three minutes. By the time she was done we all gave her a round of applause and then just when back to our class work like nothing was different. Guess it just goes to show how life is just funny like that. Edit: I'm both somewhat surprised but mostly pleased to see how many other people had a similar experience.
