Playing it a little prior to release and at release, my opinion is I don't take LE that seriously for the first couple cycles. It will take them some time to get balancing figured out and settled also to get a bit more content added. The game is good enough and the league mechanic looks interesting that balancing changes don't bother me as much and just go with the flow. The nerfs to fissure lock was expected, as switching to that after playing a Forge Guard and Spellblade during release, fissure lock was just night and day compared to the others. Granted I really only played for the first month or two after release so haven't kept up with changes since. Looking forward to the next league, but not to the degree of say PoE leagues where I contemplate taking PTO.
Why is the audio sped up and worse why is some of the pause space between words removed? I have playback set to normal and Allie is just a tad below that of the Chipmunks. Her words bleed over into each other. This typically happens when part of the pause gaps between words is removed. Its annoying to listen to the video and a distraction when paying attention to the video. Please have the audio at normal speaking speed. I tend to speak fast as many Spanish speaking people do (bilingual house hold), but its annoying when the words bleed into each other. No I'm not turning on captions which would only add to the distraction of watching the video.
Is it bad that I looked at the Healing Hands notes and went "84% less max hit? Honestly, fair. I want to see how that plays"? Helps that they're fixing some bugged damage nodes and making actual low-life scaling an option by converting the HoT. Not sure it's better, but it's interesting.
Yeah, I still think HH will be a strong tech-in for some builds and wount be 100% killed. They left the Divine Bolt build alone which is big, hopefully its still overall ok even with an 80% nerf.
Was about to start chaotic fissure lock, but either spellblade with flame reave, or meme guard with forge strike into shield bash with the ne shield weapon thingy sounds like a fresh take on the game.
I was really close to picking forge guard myself. I have a strong suspicion shield bash will be waaaaay too good on launch. Being able to equip 2 shields is op af given that the 10% extra block you now get is a really big buff for early game block.
@@Alliee And the new mh shield gives you life on block, which should be quite a bit sustain in maps, just from this one item alone. I really have to red up on block in LE. Been a long time, since I tried to max it. LL ward was just too strong the whole time.
You completely missed the Ghostflame nerfs, the less damage taken node costs more to get to AND adds 2 mana per rank, along with the movement nodes costing a LOT more mana.
Yeah, I decided to skip them in this video and quite a few other things got glossed over for the sake of keeping the video a reasonable length. Ghostflame definetly got hit pretty hard but I think it will still be ok given just how silly it was before. Im not happy with how brutal the dodge nerf is but I think ghostflame builds will be ok and it will still be a good defensive option.
@@Alliee I think the dodge nerf is fine really, simply because that 100% more multi really carries it, now you at least have to build dodge to have a decent amount.
Yeah, when you look at it like that it is a fair nerf, it wasnt good that you got 60% dodge rating for free. Im not really not a fan of something getting nerfed by 90%.
@@Alliee The fact it took that much just shows how strong it was, especially when it was converted to armor. This brought it in line with other classes, the mana changes I think are too heavy but we wont know until Tues.
It actually gained a slight amount of health from the new threashold its gaining making vitality stacking even better. Outside of that, it recieved a bit of a nerf due to the HH change but, given the build was great without HH its still overall a buff for the build compared to pre 1.0. Otherwise, no real changes happened to it.
It honestly depends on the build you want to play. Forge Guard is definetly a lot better than it used to be esp if you focus on block and abuse their new defensive nodes.
@@Alliee If I'm not mistaken, FG should be as tanky, as the 1.0 ward abuser, if build correctly. But, that will only kick in, once you got your block stats all figured out. Early game, that will most likely not be the case. But who cares? Memeguard is finally alive. I feel like I have to give it a try now. Last time I played it, it felt like the ubar hard mode in LE. 🙃

LE minions severely lack in playstyle, they lack DPS too in in higher corruptions. only viable way of playing minions is making a giant minion with dread shade and infernal shade. wraithlord has been guted. skele mages lack DPS. Minion army builds alredy sucks, and the nerf to dread shade on group minions is absolutely Massive. so what good changes were there ?
@@ryan_gaming_hub First of all there's more then just necromancer with Minions, plenty of minion builds are able to push well over 500 (you don't need more certainly with the balance changes) what i can see from your comment is you looked up some youtube minion builds and didn't manage to push as high as some insane ward abusing other builds. Both Beast master and Necromancer have plenty of different builds all good enough in their own right.
