I've used Leupold since late 70's and still use it on my 7mag as well as other Leupold scopes on other rifles. No problems ever with one, congratulations on a great scope.
It’s time to start including windage cds locking dials on 3 and 5 line. I like the zoom ranges of 3 and 5 but don’t need 6 on every rifle. But I like the locking windage cds dial. It does not justify spending that much more just for that dial. Plus your windage dials on 3 and 5 is just crap. Spongy as hell. I can buy scopes fraction of the cost that have better feeling dials. Leupold you need to do better. Crisp clicking dials is a must on any scope line anymore. You have fallen behind. Any time I buy a new rifle I want my first thought to be which leupold scope am I putting on it, instead I spend hours doing the pros and cons… then end up buying a another brand because of your mushy dials. I hate doing that. I want to buy leupold so please make that decision easier to make. Compete with the market on quality when it comes to the dials. And a side note. Anything over 10 zoom needs a side focus. Anymore I won’t buy a scope without it. 2-12 and a 2-10 is a great zoom range but I’ll never buy it because it does not have a focus. Still a lot of rifles in the market lack high cheek combs like a Kimber rifle would have. Focus is a must for accuracy.
@edwardabrams4972 so the exact same way that the vx3hd, vx5hd, and vx6hd are. You buy them with a basic moa turret and then order the CDS after you get your ballistic data. I just wanted to know if they were compatible with the CDS dials. Their other video said some models are and some are not

Much needed videos. Good job.
Glad it was helpful!
I just bought a VX6 HD 4x24x52mm TMOA reticle. To go on my new Xbolt 280AI rifle.
Big Fan of Leupold. Please add links to other videos on Leupold scopes
We have a full "Riflescopes" playlist on the homepage of our channel. Go check it out!
Very cool great job
Got the vx 3 and vx 6 i absolutely love them just got some bx 5 binoculars but they wont focus for some reason.
Read the instructions on how to set the dioptic focus or whatever it is called. You focus your right eye first and then focus the left.
@@devonplant6742 awesome thanks I didn't know that

I’d like a VX 4. 3-12.
They don’t make a vx4 maybe a Mark 4 ?
Thanks for the feedback. We are always working on new designs. Stay tuned.
Vx4 4-16!!
What about reticle differences??
Покупал до санкций leupold vx-r 3-9-42,но там другая эмблема, логотип. В каталоге leupold 2012г. У меня к Вам вопрос , когда поменяли логотип?
Which logo? Seems similar to the one I bought in 2011

Can’t hear what he is saying because of the very loud background noise (music).
Does the freedom come with the option to install a CDS turret?
No you have to buy them with the turrets new then you can get one to match your caliber!

Not all VX-Freedoms are CDS compatible. They will have CDS in the product name if they are.
