This song kicks my ass all up and down the street. Everyone killed this. Gary's vocals are perfect here. Pat Badger's playing was great and his backing vocals were killer as always. Kevin's drumming is superb. ...and, then - there was Nuno. That solo along with Gary's vocals at the start was masterfully crafted and executed.
Those bends give me chills , and I've never intentionally hit myself in the face , but this song ! The interaction between Nuno and Gary was really cool, and the rolling rhythm was felt in my entire body !
I didn't spot the opening similarity to Higher Ground! Nice observation. Love the 'nah-nah-nah-na-NAH-nah-naahh" harmonised line - sounds like teasing. Perfect for the song. Nuno's repeated line at the end of his solo just smokes. Reminds me of Brian May and something horns might play. As for Gary's vocal - wow! Love how he goes full Robert Plant at the end. Still one of the great singers in rock, no question.

Hola! Gracias por tu comentario :) Ellos son de Estados Unidos, e hicieron bastante música en los 90s, depronto hayas escuchado una canción de ellos que se llama "More than Words" que es su balada más famosa, ahora es que están volviendo a hacer música después de bastante tiempo, saludos!!

Some of my favorites off the new album are XOut, Rise, and beautiful girls! heck it's so hard to pick just three the whole damn album is so good 👍 and don't even get me started on the old stuff!! @@ginamarandino6451 yes gina yes, nuno is a god living amongst us, cupids dead is my fav extreme song, and the whole pornografiti album is a legend in itself. Most of the 80s hair metal/rock bands put their looks before music, but extreme always put their muscality first and everything else followed.

Omg who doesn't know Higher Ground is Stevie wonder... I agree most music sounds like other music, did Nuno rip off Mozart? Hell yes ! Listen to Play with me from their first album. Chilli Peppers ripped off everyone lol
Hahaha believe me, a lot of people I know don't know that higher ground is by Stevie wonder, yeahh, the solo of play with me is amazing, and I know it has some Mozart's melodies, but you know? The Chili Peppers have some original amazing stuff, the whole Californication album, for example
