I agree with the commentators. First Cash game was much better.
Brian Rast seams to talk more about meta topics and his own experiences then what is actually going on in the current game. While this is interesting I also very much prefer Randy's approach of focusing more on the current game. For example at 1:05 there is a mystery hand and Brian talked over the whole thing. And the viewers do not get any commentary about this hand until the very hand. :-(

this kind of poker is fun to watch, a mix between wild action player and high level pros.
It is very easy to watch Tan Xuan play like a madman and forget that he is actually a very solid, good player beneath all of the shenanigans. His play was incredible for this session. So many players would lose so much more money in some of the spots he found himself in.

The program is designed to be entertainment. Brian Rast understands the Math of poker, but he can’t grasp that the human element is what makes the game enjoyable to watch. His commentary ignores the live action, frequently masking the interplay between the players and even ignoring the outcome of the hand. Either train him in the art of announcing, or get someone who understands that silence is golden.
