I've always used SuperShieldz, too and I'm glad to read they have matte ones for them! I'm ordering the new iPad Pro 12.9 this week! I can't wait to grab one and not waste my money on a Paperlike! Thanks for sharing!
@@BeeJayDeL have anyone here compared supershieldz vs tech armor yet? I tried to buy tech armor after seeing this video but they are sold out everywhere for the iPad mini 6. This iPad is also very new so there aren’t many options. I saw supershieldz is still on the market, but I’m not sure how it compared to tech armor. There are like mixed reviews about it on UA-cam.
interesting. i have been using pencil to glass for years and this week finally installed a paper like and maybe it is because I have not used a tech armor but my initial impression of the paper like is a HUGE benefit to drawing. i can immediately get smoother lines than I was getting straight glass. if that other one is even better I am going to have to give it a try after I use the paper like for some time.
Update: I just bought a new ipad pro 12.9" and decided to get the Tech Armor screen protector that you linked to and this thing is awesome! I was using a different one on my regular ipad and it was good, but this Tech armor is way better.
My biggest problem with these protectors is, that after just a bit of drawing, it feels like they got very slick and the paper effect fades away. I so far was using a cheap alternative to paperlike but I have heard the same about paperlike, so 40€ seems like a big risk. I am using a Belle Mond made in Japan protector, which feels pretty thick too, so I have a hard time believing, that paperlike uses fundamentally different tech. Already thought of maybe getting one of these apple pencil tip caps instead of a screen protector.
Hey I don't know if your still having this problem with the matte protector, but I've got some advice to try. I've never used a matte protector, but that same thing happens to my matte nails. Oil starts to make it a bit slicker after a certain amount of time. To fix that, I just wipe it really good with an alcohol wipe, and it's perfectly matte once again! You could try an alcohol wipe on the screen protector
Thank you so much, I was looking for an honest review, looking for what real artists recommend for ipad drawing - I haven't done digital art in years, not since I was a teenager at least a decade ago, and really wanted to get back into it, and I'd heard of paperlike but immediately I saw the reviews on amazon complaining that it just destroys your nib and I did not want that. Thank you for mentioning the brand you use regularly and have had good long-term experience with, that's what I really needed to hear from seasoned digital artists when deciding what to get to get me started. This video was a lifesaver for my wallet and nib, lmao.
Goddammit, I ordered Paperlike because of word of mouth and I needed this video so bad 2 days ago. Ugh, definitely going to return them once they arrive alter today and buy some Tech Armour. Really appreciate the honesty and overall attitude in this video.
@@emil-9432 I believe that the lack of vibrant colors comes with any matte protector. You just gotta pick one or the other based on what you use it for. I mean if you’re only taking notes a matte one would be the obvious choice but I can se why drawing could be awful with the matte.
@@emil-9432 ''It's not my video'' My point went over your head. I was mocking you, since you came in here and hit me with LITERALLY nothing but ''This is terrible'' after a well made and thorough video. i.e. I'm making fun of how your comment is crap and isn't gonna be taken seriously 'cause it provided zero feedback to anything lol. Regardless, I got my TA and prefer it to the feel of Paperlike (tried PL first).
Thank you for the honest review. I was looking at the Paperlike but wasn't ready to pay that much. So I purchased a simple paper-style screen protector and are happy with it. I assume it is more like the Tech Armor. And yes, I saw that especially newbs grind the pencil tip to the bone, so to speak, in a month or so on the Paperlike
The ICarez Matte Screen Protector is the best I've found...looks to basically be the same as your Tech Armor. The one time I tried a Paperlike Clone, it was like drawing on rough sand paper.
I also use the iCarez Matte Screen Protector, but had to replace nib after 4.5 months of daily drawing. I had a heavier hand, but have adjusted sensitivity and learned to draw with lighter hand. No rainbow effect, nice texture, and sound. But since you have used the Tech Armor for years and nib didn’t wear down too quickly, I’m considering trying it out. Thanx for the video 😊
Just installed the Tech Armor thanks to your recommendation. The install went fine and I love the feel of it so far for drawing. Can’t beat the price! Thanks for sharing!
I have only had an ipad mini for about 2 months and I bought a paperlike screen protector thinking I would like it since I used to just draw on a sketch pad. I agree with you so much. I am going to order myself a regular one now. The paperlike almost felt like a texture on there and I can't get the hang of how much pressure I have to put on everything to write or draw. And it does have a milky color to it also. I am ordering myself the regular screen protector now.
I’ll be honest, when you got to the Paperlike review it felt like you jumped in with a preconceived opinion (maybe because the price is outrageous and you didn’t think it would be able to justify the extra $30), but the main difference I’m seeing is the drag, and the fact that you have to press harder on the paperlike when you’ve been using the other one for years (and liked it) could be the deciding point. I appreciate your honest opinion though! I started with the Paperlike and I loved it (compared to writing on glass). I’ve had it for about a year now and had to change my pen tip. I also didn’t know it was the screen protector that was making me press so hard since I naturally draw very violently, but I wanted to try something new as my Paperlike is very scratched after a year (this could be added to your Cons list). So yea! Thanks for the video!! I’ll deff give TechArmour a try
I just recently got into digital art and I've been looking at which protector to get. I was being... drawn... (No pun *originally* intended) to the Paperlike thinking it was designed for drawing, but between this video and a recommendation from family, I'll be saving quite a bit of money! Thank you!
I’ve had the Tech Armor for about 8 months, and I love it. I’ve even had friends and family tell me “it actually sounds like your drawing on paper….” And while I’ve had no tip wear yet, I honestly expect it to happen sooner or later. It is a more abrasive surface than the glass screen, so it will definitely cause wear, but I personally cannot attest to how long it will take to cause any wearing.
One of my favorite tech review channels, MobileReviewsEh, also reviewed Paperlike versus a cheap matte protector and found the Paperlike to be worse. It seems like the real opinion when it’s not a paid sponsor.
I have the matte screen protector from iCares; also from Amazon for $9, the same sp that I put on my 2020 ipad pro 11" is still on there today. My gf now uses it and she loves it. When I got the M1 Pro myself, I again used the iCares (and it was a completely flawless install, not a single air bubble or spec of dust on the screen, literally PERFECT) _sorry,_ _I_ _am_ _just_ _really_ _proud_ _of_ _my_ _impeccable_ _installation._ Again, the same sp has been on my iPad ever since. I think I replaced my nib once since getting it, I still have 2 nibs in my original 4 pack ready to go and it has been like 3 years or so..? I tired the Paperlike once and when I gave them some critical feedback on it on FB, they came back at me and explained why everything I didn't like about it was necessary. Which I get but it still didn't change the fact that I do not enjoy the experience nor the fact that I didn't think it was worth the money. With Paperlike you either love it or you hate it.
gonna take your word for it. just ordered one. see how i like it. had paperlike for 2 years. ill admit. it does have too much drag. almost a rubber feel. excited to try a new one out. draw like 14 hours a day so hopefully its a good one.
I appreciate this review so much. I just bought an iPad 8th generation and they didn’t have any matte tech armor screen protectors for it. Is there another kind of paper/matte protector you recommend? Also, is it fine to stack a matte protector over a glass one to make sure my iPad is protected from scratches?
Based on reviews I've seen onamazon, it's not recommended. it’ll affect the reactivity of you touching the screen.I have an 8th gen as well so i’m trying to find a good matte protector .
So I didn't understand which screen protector you are suggesting exactly? I would appreciate it if you could send a link to buy please. I have an iPad mini 6 that I use mainly for drawing..
Thanks for this, i was just about to order paperlike and decided to do a quick search and you popped up. $15 later (price went up i guess) and I have Tech Armor matte screen protector on my ipad 11 pro
Thank you. I just ordered a 11”and 10.2for my new iPad Pro and 9th generation iPads. I cannot stand those glass and plastic screen protectors. They add excess weight and are a bitch to put on and allow you to access the fingerprint button on the ninth generation iPad. I have a tech armor screen protector on my 2018, 9.7” iPad and have had no problems with it. The original is still on the 9.7 iPad with no scratches in it. I thought about the Paper lite ones but am not spending $44 for one, like you.
How has been your experience with the tech armor? Does it blurry to much the screen quality? I am getting an iPad an I am interested in this screen protector to draw, just curious if it's as good as it looks.
I'm thankful I came across this video before making the purchase, as I was planning on getting Paperlike as well (given the amount of promotion on UA-cam itself)
I saw this video and got some Tech Armor matte screen protectors for my iPad 6 and I like them! My mom also got some tech armor screen protectors for her new iPhone 12, and I got a matte screen for my iPhone 8+ too. I'm glad they have screen protectors for all these different devices! I'm glad I chose Tech Armor for my first dive into matte screen protectors because they're cheap and if I didn't like them it wouldn't be too bad. I do really like them though, and I think I might keep buying them when I need screen protectors. Thanks!
I haven’t used Paperlike, but the ZOEGAA brand matte screen film (I hate calling them protectors😅) I use feels plenty thick when drawing on it (and costs $13 _for two_ ). I’ll never buy a Paperlike as long as there are more economic options that feel like drawing on art paper. Yes, I have noticed wearing of the nib, but I don’t mind buying off-brand nib replacements maybe once a year when you can find a 4pk on Amazon for about $10.
Thank you for making this video! Definitely going to try your recommendation. I was so excited for my Paperlike screens to arrive and I ruined both of them almost immediately. There's no way I'm going to waste another $40 to replace the ones that got ruined. ): Looks like a $10 protector will be just fine.
does the tech armor matte screen scratch? my only hesitation with the paperlike is how horribly it scratches over time just by using the apple pencil. i have currently used a glass protector for the last year and a half
Glad to save the money!! I'm super new to iPad and digital art and I wondered if using a regular screen protector was holding me back after hearing about Paperlike but naaaah. I already have a shaky hand, I don't think this would help. Good to know, though, that looking specifically for matte ones will get a better feel, because I think the one I have may be tempered glass.
Not sure about Tech armor, but I can tell you that I've also gone through 2 apple pencil nibs in just a few months of drawing on Paperlike. It's like Sand paper...
Great Review. I tried Paperlike 2 and I did not like it at all. I think there is just too much resistance. It was more expensive but basically unusable for me and I could not even see the screen when I took it outside to read. I do find it interesting that most of the people pushing paperlike are getting affiliate money - maybe that is why it is so expensive. Regardless, I look forward to trying out the tech armor protector.
Oh wow, that’s interesting! Most Paperlike users mention the touch responsiveness (functionality) is impecable. But, considering BeeJay’s review here, it makes sense.
I got the screen protector and not thinking much other than making things easy to glide across.....until, one day, took a long stroke and a pebble stuck under the ipencil and left a scratch across the screen. Thank you screen protector
I use to use these screen protectors before but stopped because it wears down the tips on Apple Pencil very quickly. I had to replace it very quickly. The glass is much better in my opinion.
Is tech armor a brand that you like, or is it just one among the cheaper brands? I’m asking because I’ve seen a number of brands in the cheaper range (including some a little bit cheaper than tech armor) and I’m not sure if it’s worth taking a chance
I bought a cheap set of two screen protectors on Ebay (I think), a couple of years ago. I'm still using the first one and still haven't had to replace the tip of my pencil yet, either.
I have seen so many honest reviews about the paperlike today, and what am I glad you guys made these. I’m getting my iPad this october and I wanted a paperlike. But it’s an expensive joke if the paperlike really sucks. Cheaper one it is then!
I have an iPad Air and I have been trying to look for a screen protector but can’t find one and I looked online to see if they make one for the iPad Air and they don’t any suggestions on good smooth screen protectors??
I’m also really unhappy with my Paperlike. I wanted to buy the Tech Armor straight away, but unfortunately it’s not available in Germany. So if anyone has a good alternative for an iPad 10.2 inch - happy to hear! ☺️
I had the same problem with my iPad Pro 10.5 and bought one of TiMOVO. I don‘t know if it is comparabel to the TechArmour, but for me it is OK. Brad Colbow recommended Bellemond as an alternative. (Haven‘t tried yet)
@@heartofaqua1497 Update: I have a Bellemond now. The application was very easy but the feel.....it’s even more rough than the Paperlike and it “hurts” to use the Apple Pencil on it
Sorry for that! It‘s so difficult to find the right foliage. 🙈 Would love to test the TechArmour, maybe on my iPad Mini, but if can‘t get it for my Pro, it‘s useless. So as I said - my Timovo feels OK for me and I have still the same Tip on my pencil... It‘s not really expensive either. ☺️
So I picked up the TechArmor ones suggested in this video after watching to see what cheaper options still do the trick. I have been using paper like on my regular iPad for years. I just got an iPad Pro and have the TechArmor on the new iPad right next to my old iPad with paper like. While I do feel that the TechArmor is a fair product that will work well, some of your criticisms confuse me. Looking at both of my iPads side by side, the TechArmor is clearly less translucent than the paper like. The black border on the iPad Pro looks much milkier than the one on my other iPad, and the colors are more muted. Also, the pencil glides very easily, essentially the exact same feeling on both. The way paperlike was portrayed as hard to move your pencil across in this video looked strange to me as that’s never happened for me, and having them side by side I feel no difference. The one thing I haven’t checked yet is the amount of pressure difference for making marks. The TechArmor is noticeably thinner so it may have the advantage of less pressure for pencil registration. But for smoothness/gliding and opacity I have quite a different back to back comparison. All in all, I’d say the TechArmor is a great, cheaper alternative, but PaperLike is still also fantastic.
it's honestly hit or miss with paperlike...i just ordered it, and hoping its a hit. i know its going to damage the tip of my apple pencil, but im prepared to replace the tips.
hi! thanks for your video! very clear and useful!! One question.. .is there tech armor version for IPAD AIR 4??? I can't find it... any other similar??? THANKS!!!
Random question but which iPad Pro size would you recommend for the screen and storage?? I will be using it to build a portfolio, procreate and things to just improve on skills.
I have the first version if the screen protector and I have been using the same sheet since august of 2019 and I haven't needed to switch nibs and I am still far from needing it. But I also changed the pressure sensitivity to fit my needs and don't need to press hard at all. Have you other people done this when you have problems with the nib and paperlike?
I ain't got iPad yet (just waiting half May) but surely I'll get the best extras to wear on it. As you said it´s all about practical, comfort and price. I´ll be good to know about protector cases too, thanks again Jay!
Paperlike is the Raid Shadow Legends of screen protectors. It’s got a name because of all the UA-camrs that promote it. I’ve always drawn onto a glass screen protector and had no problems. I hear so many people say it’s sucks to do that I expected to hate it. I guess it’s a subjective issue. A good review for not pushing Paperlike.
I couldn't find your tech armor protector in my current country. I bought a different cheap protector though and it makes my screen glisten. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. is that normal from protectors like this? or should I try a different one? is this the grittiness you referred to that some protectors add
I have watch so many UA-cam videos about what screen protector to and I can say that tgis is the best video. Other videos focused way to much on the packaging rather than actually giving us useful information. I would like to see a comparison between tech armor and bellemond because I often see people bashing on paper like and suggesting one or the other but they never compare each other.
Nvm I just looked it up and even though this is made for an apple product I'm still just gonna slap it on my Picasso tablet as long as it's fits it will work 👌
Try the Amfilm papered glass screen protector. Ive used icarez and Bresem they were milky as you say, removed for clear display.. now got amazing display, easier to clean . The others would not stay clean .
@@Christina-tp4mo Initially, I thought it had a weird texture, but I think I got used to it as I hardly notice it anymore. I quite like it. I have no complaints so far. Perhaps I will try a cheaper matte screen protector when I have worn out my paperlike to get a sense of what else is out there.

@@joziesundstrom7660 thank u mate :o. Will definately try that! Thank so much :)
I tried the Paperlike also. I don't like it either. It's too grippy and does chew up the pencil much faster. This was a great and honest review.
Goddammit, I ordered Paperlike because of word of mouth and I needed this video so bad 2 days ago. Ugh, definitely going to return them once they arrive alter today and buy some Tech Armour. Really appreciate the honesty and overall attitude in this video.
@@emil-9432 Neat, your video review was real insightful. Oh wait....
@@emil-9432 I believe that the lack of vibrant colors comes with any matte protector. You just gotta pick one or the other based on what you use it for. I mean if you’re only taking notes a matte one would be the obvious choice but I can se why drawing could be awful with the matte.
@@emil-9432 ''It's not my video''
My point went over your head.
@@emil-9432 ''I have this it's terrible.'' isn't help, as an initial reply. Especially on a thorough video lmao.
Thank you for the honest review. I was looking at the Paperlike but wasn't ready to pay that much. So I purchased a simple paper-style screen protector and are happy with it. I assume it is more like the Tech Armor.
And yes, I saw that especially newbs grind the pencil tip to the bone, so to speak, in a month or so on the Paperlike
could you send the link pls
@@quraniclofi - I wouldn't find it... just a simple generic matt screen from Amazon
The ICarez Matte Screen Protector is the best I've found...looks to basically be the same as your Tech Armor.
The one time I tried a Paperlike Clone, it was like drawing on rough sand paper.
Haven’t tried those...I’ll have to keep them in mind too!
OK! Ordered. Thanks fella!
Tech Armor are currently out of stock of the one I need. Is there another brand you suggest?
I just recently got into digital art and I've been looking at which protector to get. I was being... drawn... (No pun *originally* intended) to the Paperlike thinking it was designed for drawing, but between this video and a recommendation from family, I'll be saving quite a bit of money! Thank you!
How's the tech armour one? Did it cause tip damage or something?
I’ve had the Tech Armor for about 8 months, and I love it. I’ve even had friends and family tell me “it actually sounds like your drawing on paper….”
And while I’ve had no tip wear yet, I honestly expect it to happen sooner or later. It is a more abrasive surface than the glass screen, so it will definitely cause wear, but I personally cannot attest to how long it will take to cause any wearing.
@@shortyman9392 tysm for responding ❤️
I have an ipad air 4th gen. 10.9 inch. any suggestions on a screen protector for that model?
I am so glad I saw this. I’ll stick to my tech armor.
👍👍👍
One of my favorite tech review channels, MobileReviewsEh, also reviewed Paperlike versus a cheap matte protector and found the Paperlike to be worse. It seems like the real opinion when it’s not a paid sponsor.
I have the matte screen protector from iCares; also from Amazon for $9, the same sp that I put on my 2020 ipad pro 11" is still on there today. My gf now uses it and she loves it. When I got the M1 Pro myself, I again used the iCares (and it was a completely flawless install, not a single air bubble or spec of dust on the screen, literally PERFECT)
_sorry,_ _I_ _am_ _just_ _really_ _proud_ _of_ _my_ _impeccable_ _installation._
Again, the same sp has been on my iPad ever since.
I had to adjust my pencil settings so I wouldn’t have to press down so hard with the papermate
Yup-that’s a fix but still doesn’t correct the pull issue
gonna take your word for it. just ordered one. see how i like it. had paperlike for 2 years. ill admit. it does have too much drag. almost a rubber feel. excited to try a new one out. draw like 14 hours a day so hopefully its a good one.
I appreciate this review so much. I just bought an iPad 8th generation and they didn’t have any matte tech armor screen protectors for it. Is there another kind of paper/matte protector you recommend? Also, is it fine to stack a matte protector over a glass one to make sure my iPad is protected from scratches?
i have exactly the same question
Based on reviews I've seen onamazon, it's not recommended. it’ll affect the reactivity of you touching the screen.I have an 8th gen as well so i’m trying to find a good matte protector .
So I didn't understand which screen protector you are suggesting exactly? I would appreciate it if you could send a link to buy please. I have an iPad mini 6 that I use mainly for drawing..
Is there one from Tech Armor for 8th gen iPad? I can’t seem to find it in the descriptions. Thanks for any advice!
Thanks for this, i was just about to order paperlike and decided to do a quick search and you popped up. $15 later (price went up i guess) and I have Tech Armor matte screen protector on my ipad 11 pro
How often to you change your screen cover and apple pencil tips? Love the review helped me alot
And what about playing some casual games on the ipad, how does that work with the matte screen protector???
I saw this video and got some Tech Armor matte screen protectors for my iPad 6 and I like them! My mom also got some tech armor screen protectors for her new iPhone 12, and I got a matte screen for my iPhone 8+ too. I'm glad they have screen protectors for all these different devices! I'm glad I chose Tech Armor for my first dive into matte screen protectors because they're cheap and if I didn't like them it wouldn't be too bad. I do really like them though, and I think I might keep buying them when I need screen protectors. Thanks!
Hey jay. I have an iPad 7th gen which is 10.2. I can’t seem to find a tech armour to fit. Do they do it for this iPad
Is this is the Paperlike 2.0 or 2.1? If you have the 2.1 version would love a review please!
I'd still use Paperlike because I like the thicker feel. Kinda like 60lb sketchbook paper vs Bristol.
Can’t really compare this to any paper I’ve ever drawn on...
@@EchoJ I hear ya. I guess the feel and price really depends on the person.
Dumb question but I have to ask could the techsrmour be used over a glass screen protector? Sorry for asking. Regards Fred
I wanted to buy the screen protector your using yet its not available anymore. Do you have any other recommendations?
Thank you sooo much! Just watching you draw was enough for me to make a decision. The ASMR was the topper. Appreciate you
I can't find which one works for an iPad Air 4. I guess the one for the iPad Pro 2018 11", right? 🤔
Looking for the same
Thank you for making this video! Definitely going to try your recommendation. I was so excited for my Paperlike screens to arrive and I ruined both of them almost immediately. There's no way I'm going to waste another $40 to replace the ones that got ruined. ): Looks like a $10 protector will be just fine.
does the tech armor matte screen scratch? my only hesitation with the paperlike is how horribly it scratches over time just by using the apple pencil. i have currently used a glass protector for the last year and a half
not sure what i look more, that hoodie or how beautiful your set looks 👊🏻
Haha! Thanks man!
Leon’s nostrils and beautiful lushous lips are such an iconic combo
I expected to see anyone but Leon, nice to see haha
wow wtf ure here. i like ur content
or just how sexy of a daddy he is 😋
Glad to save the money!!
I believe it!
I just went through two apple pencil tips within a week of using a matte screen protector (not paperlike), so im pretty sure its not just paperlike.
Thanks dude! Great review, just went and ordered myself a tech armor protector off amazon. Looking forward to seeing how it goes!
Great video! I was just, literally, looking at screen protectors so my Apple Pencil doesn’t ice skate across my tablet. 😌
Thanks! Appreciate you watching!
They don't have tech armor for iPad Air fourth gen?
Great Review. I tried Paperlike 2 and I did not like it at all. I think there is just too much resistance. It was more expensive but basically unusable for me and I could not even see the screen when I took it outside to read. I do find it interesting that most of the people pushing paperlike are getting affiliate money - maybe that is why it is so expensive. Regardless, I look forward to trying out the tech armor protector.
How is the tech armor? Do you like it better?
I'm a cheapass too lol Thanks for the video I never could justify 40 bucks for a screen protector. Glad to know I'm not missing anything.
👍 glad I could help!
nice video! this was exactly the video I was looking for. going to go with the TechArmor like you suggested. Thanks!
I'm going to get an iPad soon! So I wanted to see if paper like is actually worth it and I have decided on the ESR tempered glass screen protector
One thing I disliked about Paperlike is when using fingers/touch it lost functionality at times when swiping and tapping.
I noticed that too after the video- I went to make the thumbnail before I switched back to the other screen protector and ran into that same problem!
It’s times like that when they definitely come in handy!
Gorilla glass is very scratch resistant, I doubt it would have scratched the screen if you didn't have a protector.
I use to use these screen protectors before but stopped because it wears down the tips on Apple Pencil very quickly. I had to replace it very quickly. The glass is much better in my opinion.
The cheap matte ones in the video don’t wear them down the same...glass is just way too slick in my opinion.
@@BeeJayDeL Hmmm, I may try that brand then 😁👍🏼 It does get tedious wiping the screen over and over without one 😅 Thanks!
Luckily, I got to purchase the Tech Armor last week. Because it’s currently unavailable for the 11 inch on Amazon.
Hii, pls what is the brand name of your pencil tips protectors ????
Thanks for the honest review! I have been considering paper like but couldn’t bring myself to drop $40 on them. Giving tech armor a try
Is tech armor a brand that you like, or is it just one among the cheaper brands?
I’m asking because I’ve seen a number of brands in the cheaper range (including some a little bit cheaper than tech armor) and I’m not sure if it’s worth taking a chance
Does tech armor make this for the iPad Air 4 I can’t seem to be able to find it??
Is there any option for a 10.2 inch iPad?
Explains why I cant get the nice strokes from your videos with your Custom brushes. I have paperlike and it just shreds the tip og the Apple pencil
Yeah...it was definitely a struggle trying to use it! Felt like I was pulling through mud!
Would this fit in a 2021 iPad Pro
hi! thanks for your video! very clear and useful!! One question.. .is there tech armor version for IPAD AIR 4??? I can't find it... any other similar??? THANKS!!!
Did they make a tech armor matte screen for ipad mini gen 6? If not, any other alternatives?
Random question but which iPad Pro size would you recommend for the screen and storage?? I will be using it to build a portfolio, procreate and things to just improve on skills.
do it wear down your pencil tip?
What’s the best matte screen protector for the iPad Air 4
I have the first version if the screen protector and I have been using the same sheet since august of 2019 and I haven't needed to switch nibs and I am still far from needing it. But I also changed the pressure sensitivity to fit my needs and don't need to press hard at all. Have you other people done this when you have problems with the nib and paperlike?
From some people following up with me, it seems like the pull on the screen and the nib wear is more pronounced with the newest versions.
Do you mean the original paperlike ?
I ain't got iPad yet (just waiting half May) but surely I'll get the best extras to wear on it.
As you said it´s all about practical, comfort and price. I´ll be good to know about protector
cases too, thanks again Jay!
Good honest review which we don’t see that often nowadays
Straight and to the point! Thank you sir!
how do you know when to change your screen protector?
Paperlike is the Raid Shadow Legends of screen protectors. It’s got a name because of all the UA-camrs that promote it. I’ve always drawn onto a glass screen protector and had no problems. I hear so many people say it’s sucks to do that I expected to hate it. I guess it’s a subjective issue. A good review for not pushing Paperlike.
Loved the honest review
Totally rad video! Thanks for the shout! Great review.
Thanks again man!
Do they have one for ipad 8th gen 10.2? Thank you for the video!
I think ill follow yr advice, cos I have a light touch and pressing on the paperlike would not work for me.
I have a picasso tab does this screen protector fit on it? Or do they only work with Apple
I'm new to procreate art, I needed this video a week ago, already placed an order... sigh! P.S I like your brushes.
Sorry I couldn’t have made it sooner! And thanks!!!
How's it working out for you?? Did you end up liking it?
@@Christina-tp4mo Initially, I thought it had a weird texture, but I think I got used to it as I hardly notice it anymore. I quite like it. I have no complaints so far. Perhaps I will try a cheaper matte screen protector when I have worn out my paperlike to get a sense of what else is out there.
