2016 wt20 was the most interesting wc I ever watched .The best run chase between SA and Eng ,the 1 run win of india over Bangladesh, the two no balls that returned india home and at the end "Remember the Name".
I agree. I think the best World Cups were 2007 because it was the first and a comeback story for India, and 2016 because of it's sheer exciting moments and matches.
Exactly The worst WC ever because India didn't make it to the next round and was outclassed by their Arch rival by 10 wickets (the most humiliating defeat by India in the World Cups)?
If you don't put your efforts and rely on Past records then this will happens don't balme the conditions your team didn't fight in first two matches and give the opposition chance to win one sided victory 🙃
@@mohibgraphy999 no he's pointing for every team, didn't you see like only 1 team won the match while batting first(i.e losing the toss). This uae conditions were slow for t20 cricket. We've hardly seen any 200 runs in this tourney.
@@robotnik9552 You are right but if you see the previous record of Pakistan in Uae against NZ and Aus you will see that Pakistan defend low scoring targets. Whatever the conditions are, our team give their best which others could not. Even we lost semi final but at least we fought till end but Wade put his show brilliantly all credit to him. 🙃
@@mohibgraphy999 yeah i was happy with their super conditions. At the end, wade could have easily gotten out but after hasan ali's catch miss the tables have fully turned. I was quite sure that pakistan could have won after the wickets of marsh and warner
I simply want to apply 2 rules in cricket. 1. The size of boundaries should be within a limit. Like in MCG you get one side 80 m long and at Sharjah its 55 m. This should be within a given limits, like 65-70m or something. 2. If dew has arrived then keep changing balls after they get wet and don't give one side advantage. There should be balance in both innings.
I want to tell u that toss only decides 50% of the match result u can still win the night game after losing the toss/bat first just like Pak defeated Afg, Eng defeated SL, Ind defeated Afg, SL defeated WI, SA defeated Eng. I have counted only the night matches and excluded Nam and Sco matches. Also the two Semi Finals were never one sided before the final over Eng and Pak (both lost the toss) were favourite to win the match and something magical happened in last 1 over, even few Super 12 matches like Afg vs Pak, SA vs SL were never one sided. Agreed that second bat team have advantage to win the game but all the players are representing their country on international level and are atleast expected to tackle swing and spin. Our top order batsman failed except Kohli vs Pak. Also there are many stadiums even in India where dew plays a role and tbh in all t20Is which are played at night dew plays a role but that never means second bat team will only win.
Pakistan and England were the best contenders for this world cup. Seeing them getting knocked out due to the toss in the semis hurts a lot as a cricket fan. That was another reason for me to switch off the TV during the final.

The one who criticize Virat Kohli should understand the fact that India couldn't qualify for semifinal for 3 consecutive years until he performed extremely well in 2014 & 2016 which led india into final and semifinal respectively . In final and semifinal , india lost but he was only one to score runs there too . Also in WC 2021 , he was only one to score a fifty in against one of the two important matches .
You are right but only half way. VK is a world class batsman. So second thought about that, no one in current era can match his abilities, he is a different batsman with class batting style. But the problem is with his attitude, rather temperament and captaincy skills. Talent in batting or bowling doesn't make you a great captain. It's not that he is not fit for it, but just that it's not his cup of tea. He is carrying that burden and stressing himselfa way too much. I would love to see VK doing only a batsman duty and showing aggression as a batsman and not as a captain.
Dude, India scored 110 vs NZ. Toss isn't the only reason for such a performance. Dew or not, you can't defend 110 against any team. You have to accept the fact that India played very bad, toss advantage or not.
You are right but in new zealand match they played bad agreed but that can happen to any team in a bad day plus add the pressure of getting knocked out in the group stage itself and again adding to the stress of loosing toss . I know they played bad (not the Indian team we know the mentality) but they definitely would bounce back in 2022 T20 world cup
Certainly, against Nz, we had a bad day but you can't say the same for match against Pakistan. Our score wasn't below par and could have been defended and we had the bowling attack to defend it, didn't we ? Getting one of the openers would have given us the lead and middle order wasn't in form except Asif Ali at the back.
True, people will come up with all kinds of stupid reasons to justify an obviously pathetic performance by India. How come even after playing on these pitches for months India didn't prepare for this possibility?

BCCI don't care about what happens to indian cricket . All they want is money which they are getting from IPL, even players are understanding . They all have reserved their performance for IPL .
pretty sure had Pak batted second they would have crushed Aus instead of a close battle we saw after Aus won the toss and batted second..toss result was huge this time
I remember when Pakistan were winning their fans were saying the toss had nothing to do with it and I wrote if Pakistan lose the toss in the knockouts they will lose and that's exactly what happened
It was simple.. The group with Eng/Aus/SA saw tougher competition. Pak and NZ had it easy in the other group. And Pakistan was undefeated till then, the law of averages (or jinx) would eventually catch up..
Truly said bro Even the Aussie players weren't that excited after winning the final...the expressions on their face read as if they didn't earn it. Players like(Pat, Smith, Max, Finch)
Yeah they weren't excited to an extent but still anyway drank beer from their shoe. Even an excited sane human won't do that, wearing a shoe for 3-4 long hours with all the sweat and stuff...
Aus is a team which has celebrated victory like anything, they cheated and cheated just to win the match. This time without any much "effort" they did it so there should be much more excitement.
@Hello Bruh they've cheated before, they've led tbe spirit of cricket down before many a time. SCG test 2008, Sand paper, Steve Buckner controversy and few other umpires being biased to aus.
@Hello Bruh I'm not saying they cheated this time I'm saying that they've cheated and gone to very low levels to win a match but this time they didn't need to do that so why would they be not excited after winning the 20-20 world cup for the first time?
Yeah the performance was bad, but India had no other option. I too cursed them, Rohit sharma too, he's my fav. But then I realized, they played for a 170/80+ total, they knew, less than this will be achieved easily because of dew. So there was no difference in being all out at 80, 110 or a reaching 150 if u r trying for 180.If you see highlights, all got out for playing shots. Then I saw what happened to Pakistan n then NEW Zealand too.
That's why test cricket is the ultimate format of the game and we all should watch that format as much as we can Toss doesn't matter in test cricket The better team always wins. Not so much the case in t20s I hope this world cup teaches all of us that test cricket is the greatest and will always be the greatest format of the game 🙏 Edit: Don't get me wrong guys. I'm not saying toss doesn't matter in tests. I'm just saying it has less effect on the outcome of a game than dew in t20s
Not really...when Test matches are held in India where there are spinning wickets...toss plays a huge role...the team batting first has a big advantage
@@darkraider0477 That's the problem with India They doctor pitches and win a lot here, but that affects them especially in tournaments Also, in test cricket, you always have sufficient opportunity to win a game even on an Indian pitch. Not so much in t20 because its a much shorter match
@@ommore5417 See test cricket is also a leveller in that sense Will suit bowlers and batsmen for an equal period of time throughout the course of 5 days. And these days, very few matches even go down to day 5 So the better team always wins. And it's classical cricket unlike t20 which is all about slogging I any day prefer test cricket
This clears the air on what actually went down in this disaster of a WC. The video is so well done mate! Keep up the great work. There's no channel like yours.
It was all Indian Star Sport's fault. The matches were being played according to Indian Standard Times. If the matches were being played at 7pm or 7:30 (UAE time), the conditions would have been same for both the sides. Pakistan had played many games in UAE in the past where the starting time was 8pm (UAE time) where the conditions used to be similar for both of the teams.
The evening matches started at 6:00 PM UAE time throughout the WC. This perhaps was an issue. For teams bowling first at 6:00 pm, there wasn’t much dew around and so the bowlers could bowl well. In the second innings however the outfield was super wet and spinners could hardly grip the ball. Case in point was India vs Pakistan. Pakistan cruised to their easiest win vs India cuz the conditions got so bad for the bowlers and Shami and Varun C got punished by Babar and Rizwan with such ease. So keeping this all in mind, in hindsight starting the matches an hour later would have been a better decision. That way both sides would have to deal with the dew and it wouldnt have given such an unfair advantage to the chasing team.

Don't forget highest team score and fastest chase was also registered by India in the same tournament. Now you will argue that it was against minnows. In that case why did New Zealand and Pakistan win games against them. They should have conceded the match and still won the tournament if they were so great teams.

I do accept that toss do play a big role in this T20 world cup, but it isn't exclusive to the world cup. It's a major flaw in the T20 format itself where the side bowling first has an edge in the game and the chasing side has it easier, it's not hard to believe that the UAE situation just exacerbated this problem, it didn't just magically appear because "pitches and conditions"
@@makshay Replace the toss? The only way in my opinion. There was a good reddit post that was basically a "toss auction" where the losing captain gets a handicap in the form of extra runs. Basically you can wager to get more from other captain and intentionally give them the chance to bring it on, and it won't just make it a game of chance and balance a lot out. The side batting first starts with a score like 10-0 or 20-0 instead of say 0-0.
@@makshay I don't think anything is possible. I was just watching T10 league and realised team batting first has undue advantage as format is simply highly favouring power hitters > bowlers. As their is no to time to recover if power hitters of team 1 put a huge score of 135!+ It adds insane pressure on 2nd team that they end up blowing apart mostly. So, many of games end up being mismatched 😓 No fun!
Worst ever and one sided final i have ever seen 🤮. There was no suspense in the second innings. Even in 2014 final though india only scored 130, the wickets fell regularly during the chase to keep the match interesting.
No in 2014 Jaddu was giving slight hope. Sanga played awesome innings and won the game. Also Malinga Yorkers were just good. Had India scored 160 runs we would have won that game easily.
@@kevinshailesh2832 the toss was the deciding factor. The wicket was easier to bat on after the 1st 10 overs of NZ innings. And the domination of a team who lost their last 5-6 t20 series?
Those phenomenal shots by Wade honestly had nothing to do with the pitch. He faced either Yorkers or low full toss. And the dropped catch created the pressure for Pakistan. So I would not even consider that match in this discussion.
How stupid ? That is the prime example ! Pakistan were in the match till that last 5 overs … if you want to exclude a match then exclude Pakistan vs india where india took “0” wickets … even before the dew took affect which was normally after 10-12 overs

Australia were five down in the 90s against Pakistan's 176. How did the toss help Australia win from there? New Zealand were the same. The toss had nothing to do with the semi finals. England and Pakistan had it won and the were not good enough to nail down their advantage.
Yes... Mostly because there were 14 teams & in group stages no mjaor teams played each other. Also with the exit of india & pakistan early, the super 8 matches were also same like group stages. Another reason was the entire tournment took almost 2 months to complete & personally i didn't liked the scoreboard banners shown in the broadcast. The fonts were large with dull colours.

This is really very correct analysis by you. Toss was the only and the most crucial reason for team India's early exit from WC. I completely agree with this analysis but disagree with lot of points in the previous video!! Love your overall content and narration though👍👍
Yes, it was because of toss Indian batsmen played stupid shots in a do or die game against NZ and scored only 110. Just excuses, excuses for what was an obviously pathetic performance. This is despite playing on these pitches for months, Indians still didn't prepare for it?
The team which win matches from adverse situations, from all odds against them is called true champion. Learn from South Africa how they defended against England . It's unfortunate they didn't qualified because of NRR. But who even cares , when you get so much of money in playing a single ipl season . Completely disappointed

This is the sole reason we lost to Australia in the WC 2023 final. As a host nation with that many days in our hand, we produced the worst possible pitch a final can be played on. The pitch , the outfield was a literal graveyard for the batting team in the 1st innings, became a batting paradise in the second. The sole reason was Dew
Yeah what you say makes sense .I mean what I liked about the world cup is that there where 16 teams that played in this world cup and it had some good moments But my main problem with the world cups is that it happens too much .A world cup should be only once in 4 years not once in 2 or three years. It becomes too common and makes a world cup less unique
Putting everything on dew doesn't make sense....4 sixes by asif were not because of the dew, same applies to wade cameo....it was poor bowling, we have to accept it....
Even Wankhede and many others had the same issue, we won 2011 WC, but lost 2016 T20 SF, the IPL 2018 final where CSK we down in powerplay and then made a comeback, agree with you but can't blame this tournament just because India didn't do well
Guys, don't steep down to another level by just blaming the toss toss toss. It's sad that India did not perform well. But remember only losers search for reasons and winners always have solutions. It was neither fatigue nor work load. Because most of the best international players were Also part of IPL, but still they performed exceptionally well in WC for their respective countries. Remember KW, even said that playing IPL in UAE helped them plan the game better and they read the match conditions very well. If it was really fatigue, why not Indian players pull out of IPL? No one forced them to play it other than huge money nothing made them play IPL. It was wrong squad and poor motivation and bloody politics that ruined this WC for India, that's it. We will comeback strong, we will win.

No bro. Pak and England were the favourites going into the semifinals, they got knocked out due to the toss. And even NZ was considered favourite in the finals, given their form leading into the worldcup and the way they played in the league stage. Australia were the least favourites and won cuz their luck.

Nope, While Pakistan took full advantage of the toss in first matches, and then lost the toss in semi-final, even for me it was a dumb tournament, like I didn't even watch pak vs Australia from the start, when I saw the toss I just went to the other room when my czn came and said that there are 61 run required of 5 overs, I came to see the match but even then it was a bad play, and as player are saying about leaving the catch even if the catch was taken doing 18 of 9 balls is nothing for big teams on a dew filled ball.

Short Answer - It's Destroying Cricket and Our Cricketers. I remember a time when India playing used to be an occasion. Me, my father and brother, making our schedules around it. Now it feels like there is some or the other tournament every other day.
There was a time when it truly felt like teams were getting benefits from series matches and they were being ready for the tournaments now it feels like some sort of Forced matches which are too boring to bother with..
I love your content. The analysis and storytelling is extremely engaging. I would love if you could make a video on ODI cricket’s future. I think that the format is dead now and would be interesting to see your perspective. Thanks
When something just goes down for selfishness of a cricket board then you know what would be the end story. First time in last 20 years I didn't feel like watching an ICC event and couldn't believe that a World Cup was under way. I think many of you felt the same.
line At 10:47 is so relatable. I even felt bored while watching matches something that has never happened to me before. I litrelly started hating UAE grounds. I hope this never get repeat
The fact that Aussies said that toss was a huge advantage so many times after winning the cup shows how garbage the Dubai game was....I guarantee India would have had different results if the toss went otherwise
No one lost by 10 wickets because of the dew. There were plenty of close games, like Pak vs Aus semi final. Afghanistan almost defended their total vs Pak had it not been for a miraculous innings by Asif. Indians are just sore losers
I was an ardent cricket fan but lost interest in this game for last 4 years , I'm closely monitoring the game for last 5 years and noticed several factors decides the match winners 1. Pitch and Dew factors - Not only in UAE we seen some venues like Mumbai - Mostly favored the team batting second in evening matches, if the venue is Chennai you can see pitch slowing down in second innings and it favors the team batting first , 2. Bowling conditions - when it comes to test cricket in Indian venues spinners played a huge role in most victories for India were foreign spinners not expertise in these conditions and they struggled to take wickets. 3. Physical Advantage - Remember India's Adelaide Test match were India collapsed to 36/9 , In that match both pat cummins and Josh Hazelwood are relatively tall compared to Indian bowlers and they are abel to release the ball very much higher then Indian bowlers this made our batsman struggle.

Agree with the logic generally but then all teams played with the same limitations. Us indians complaining about toss et al just makes us feel like sour grapes. Lets except that we played poorly this tournament and move on.
Synthetic pitches give undue advantages to batsmen. The bounce doesn't change and the variations of bowlers are limited as the synthetic pitches don't misbehave subject to normal deterioration. Plus the dew makes the situation worse. the matches would become tedious & boring if both teams are scoring heavily & bowling would become a chore rather than being an art.
Thanks for explaining it clearly. My homies and friends was devastated after the loss against NZ and especially Pak. I tried to tell them about the dew and toss, but they called it an 'excuse' and now I will show them this video.
One of the worst things is that out of 6 teams, only two will qualify. Which is just terrible, unfair. There should have been 16 teams in total with a round of 8, and then Semis.
Really worst world cup even worse than 2007 50 over world cup. And also choke button of Indian cricket team was full on this time even before knockouts.
In first match against Pakistan India lost two early wickets by two brilliant bowls by Shaheen Shah Afridi and surya got out early when you loose three wickets early you could not completely play fearlessly because if you do and again loose two to three wickets playing high risk shots tu you might even get resticted to Less than 100 runs somehow virat kept his calm has made team reach respectable total. In second match there was a lot of pressure I mean a lot lot of pressure of getting knocked out in group stage itself plus terrible loss they received in previous match and add to that the stress and pressure of loosing a toss in such an important match that's the reason they looked timid in nature they are humans it can happen to any human being everyone is literally judging team india by just two bad games I agree they didn't play well but they definitely would bounce back in T20 World Cup 2022 , like they bounced back after terrible loss at at Adelaide bowled out to 36 to winning the series. 1996 cricket world cup is the most unique world cup ever played among the 19 cricket world cups till date ( including 7 T20 world cups). Below are few facts : 1. Only world cup to be won by a co-host nation. Sri Lanka won final in Lahore and not on home soil 2. Only final in which both captains were left handed batsman 3. Only final match to be held in pakistan 4. Pakistan is the only country which hosted a world cup final without hosting a semi final match !!!! 5. Only final to have a century in a success full chase. Arvinda di silva scored 107. 6. Only time world cup trophy was handed over by head of a state. Benazir bhutto the then PM of Pakistan handed over the trophy to arjuna ranatunga. 7. 1996 world cup is the only tournament in which both finalists despite being in the same group never faced each other in earlier stages of the tournament. Australia did not go to sri lanka for its pool game due to security reasons and sri lanka was given 2 default points 8. Arvinda di silva is the most productive man of match player with 107 runs 3 wickets n 2 catches 9. Sanath jayasurya is the least productive all rounder to win player of series award 10. Only world cup final among the 4 final match appearances of Glen McGrath where he went wicketless 11. Only 50 over world cup match till date in which sri lanka beat Australia 12. Only World cup when India played at Eden Gardens Calcutta in 50 over world cup !!!! 13. Only 50 over world cup in which West indies lost a semi final match 14. 1996 was the last time West indies reached semi final stage in 50 over world cup 15. Ind vs Sri Lanka semi final, only test or odi in history which was awarded due to rioting crowd !! 16. Only World Cup in sub continent when India did not host the final match. 17. Only World Cup final in which Glen McGrath and Shane warne went wicketless
Toss should be eliminated from now on. My advice is to give the chance of choosing batting or bowling to the team which won the last game played between those two teams
both the Pakistan matches mentioned is completely out of context here, those 4 and 3 sixes were the culmination of what happened before that. What if Asif Ali took the single and Shadab is facing? will there be 4 sixes? i bet not. the same, if the runout chances were taken bt Pakistan, were there any 3 sixes? NO.
Exactly bro...if hasan ali had taken the cath and even if 1 of run out chances was taken correctly and 2 No balls were not given by pakistani bowlers like Hafeez ball to warner..then it would have been a one sided match as it was looking to be in the middle of 10..15 overs

In india dew sets for both teams as the match starts at between 7-8 pm so it is not that bad for the second bowling team but yes it has more effect at second innings.
People are complaing abt that toss....I don't have any issue with the toss....in India if u play night or day night games ....u get dew from October to February.....so u have to ready to bowl with wet ball or u have score excess of 200+ to defend it If u r saying toss is a issue it's illogical for a Indian fan like me ........ Sorry bro for this say
The Toss by Itself Is not an Issue brother. You take a desert Environment, overwork it without letting it rest for 2 months, and then try to play competitive cricket on it for 2 months Straight. The toss is just a symptom. The unrelenting Schedule and poor pitch management is the Issue is the Issue
You can counter the dew factor by playing brave cricket in the first inning...make a 200+ score and then see if dew really won the match for the other team. Again you have to be brave which i think was lacking in many good teams including india.
ICC should have applied the Test format of having 2 innings in this world cup, each innings of 10 overs. This way both teams will have to bat in the first and 2nd innings, thereby reducing the advantage of only 1 team getting benefit of dew. I know it sounds absurd, but given the absurdity of toss deciding the winner, this idea of mine is less absurd ;)
Such matches were played in India's tour of NZ just before the 2003 world cup. They were really good I don't know why they didn't hold any such any more.

1st suggestion good. For the toss we should ask for close bids of runs offered opposition from both captain
For dew factor , matches should be play in four innings 10/10/10/10 both team will hv same conditions

- 2021 T20 Wc in a nutshell

@Hello Bruh I'm not saying they cheated this time I'm saying that they've cheated and gone to very low levels to win a match but this time they didn't need to do that so why would they be not excited after winning the 20-20 world cup for the first time?
Toss was major factor but India folding for 110 against Nz in crucial game had nothing to do with toss
Then I saw what happened to Pakistan n then NEW Zealand too.
even 150 is not a big target nowadays and at the pace that pak was going they could have chased 180 to 200 if given the chance

It all comes down to money in the end, the organisiers want to air matches in prime time slots in india
@@mayurmorey5661 yes you are right, since airing the matches at this prime time would also benefit advertisers and hence they could charge more.

I completely agreed
Finally a person that speaks logic and accepts

None of this would have been discussed if India had won the cup. It just feels hypocritic to call it the worst ever.
No bro. Pak and England were the favourites going into the semifinals, they got knocked out due to the toss. And even NZ was considered favourite in the finals, given their form leading into the worldcup and the way they played in the league stage. Australia were the least favourites and won cuz their luck.
@@rambalajimr3497 I agree. Pak bowled good throughout the contest, that is true but the opposition never really got a chance to defend due to dew.
Regardless, atleast the curse is broken now. Wc22 here we come!!!
Nope, While Pakistan took full advantage of the toss in first matches, and then lost the toss in semi-final, even for me it was a dumb tournament, like I didn't even watch pak vs Australia from the start, when I saw the toss I just went to the other room when my czn came and said that there are 61 run required of 5 overs, I came to see the match but even then it was a bad play, and as player are saying about leaving the catch even if the catch was taken doing 18 of 9 balls is nothing for big teams on a dew filled ball.
trashing by 10 wickets just cant be by dew lmao. we played shit cricket and they played better than us @@skysight1553
I sat here and started watching one after another of your videos and every one of them have been informative and with genuine data. Thanks for bringing the other side of the cricket closer to a lot of people who generally aren't much into the other side of the coin. Your videos simply explain that the games are not only played on the ground but the history before the game and the consequences after the game play much bigger role than what people ever try to fathom. I am glad that I have subscribed to your channel.
What's your take on the tight packed schedule . Indian team has been playing back to back matches since August and will be doing so till next ipl.
Short Answer - It's Destroying Cricket and Our Cricketers.
I remember a time when India playing used to be an occasion.
Me, my father and brother, making our schedules around it.
Now it feels like there is some or the other tournament every other day.
@@cricketraazenglish yeah I was literally yawning watching the ind vs nz series matches

You just saw the highlights but you are the spotlight of cricket info :)

It was not just UAE where the T20 world was held, group stage matches where played in Oman.
As usual when India wins its their talent, and when they lose the pitch is bad. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What a brilliantly put up video man! Something me and my friend were talking about as well.
You forgot to watch the 2007 WC ?!
the ongoing world cup is easily the most boring and least competitive.
The fact that Aussies said that toss was a huge advantage so many times after winning the cup shows how garbage the Dubai game was....I guarantee India would have had different results if the toss went otherwise

Will you do the same video with the same content if India had won the T20 world cup ??
I guess so because the others team who played well lost due to toss.
No one lost by 10 wickets because of the dew. There were plenty of close games, like Pak vs Aus semi final. Afghanistan almost defended their total vs Pak had it not been for a miraculous innings by Asif. Indians are just sore losers
Simply fantastic narration… keep going brother…
It's not Dubai, it's Dew-bai 😆
Glad my UA-cam feed is showing such this kind of intellectual and unique content.
Siraj and Ishant Sharma are also tall.
Thanks for bringing this fact in light. It hurted when I also shut down my TV on semifinals, final
9:01
As a Pakistani, please don't remind me about the catch drop which entirely could cause a huge change in the results
Wouldn’t have made a difference overall mate as Zampa dropped azam earlier in the match, so they cancel each other out
Carry on bro, You are taking cricket videos in a different level .

Agree with the logic generally but then all teams played with the same limitations. Us indians complaining about toss et al just makes us feel like sour grapes. Lets except that we played poorly this tournament and move on.
2021 : Wrost world Cup
Meanwhile 1992 world Cup : Am I a joke to you?
I'm from Chennai, If a talented Indian Team can't qualify for Semi finals, it doesn't mean that 2021 World cup is worse of all T20 World cup.
The dew factor was not managed properly and the heat as well, not to mention that the fans were limited due to Covid.
How about having synthetic pitches similar to hardcourts in US open tennis
Synthetic pitches give undue advantages to batsmen. The bounce doesn't change and the variations of bowlers are limited as the synthetic pitches don't misbehave subject to normal deterioration. Plus the dew makes the situation worse.
the matches would become tedious & boring if both teams are scoring heavily & bowling would become a chore rather than being an art.
Your analytical skills are spectacular!
True that...Was really looking forward to the WT20 2021...but it washed all our hopes!!!
HOPE THIS MISTAKE WIL NEVER BE REPEATED...!!
What can you expect something in country where everything is plastic and artificial
I hope you are an Indian cricket fan who is angry and frustrated on his team not winning but every will get fine brother things will get better 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍
Your narration is equally impressive as is the content....gr8...this video is far more impressive than the world cup itself...
1996 cricket world cup is the most unique world cup ever played among the 19 cricket world cups till date ( including 7 T20 world cups). Below are few facts :
1. Only world cup to be won by a co-host nation. Sri Lanka won final in Lahore and not on home soil
2. Only final in which both captains were left handed batsman
3. Only final match to be held in pakistan
Australia did not go to sri lanka for its pool game due to security reasons and sri lanka was given 2 default points
8. Arvinda di silva is the most productive man of match player with 107 runs 3 wickets n 2 catches
9. Sanath jayasurya is the least productive all rounder to win player of series award
10. Only world cup final among the 4 final match appearances of Glen McGrath where he went wicketless
11. Only 50 over world cup match till date in which sri lanka beat Australia
12. Only World cup when India played at Eden Gardens Calcutta in 50 over world cup !!!!
13. Only 50 over world cup in which West indies lost a semi final match
14. 1996 was the last time West indies reached semi final stage in 50 over world cup
Your analysis is great and you just talked about facts and results . Expecting more from you in future . All the best .
I think title should have been The Worst World Cup For India 😂

dont agree with this as u can clearly see how players playing. no single team batting first was thinking to score 200
We all saw this, but love the way you explains. I have become your fan and subscriber.
I am a huge fan of yours. Just watched the first 30 seconds, haven't watched the entire video yet but will complete it 11 minutes after posting this comment.
Watch the video first
Literally finding any way to refuse sheer statistics that preview otherwise LOL
@@YashMezzala I watched the entire video now and please read my comment again. 50% matches were one sided but 50% matches were interesting of which though 80% team batting first lost but still they never lost from the beginning. Definitely it is the worst WC but was never completely one sided

In india dew sets for both teams as the match starts at between 7-8 pm so it is not that bad for the second bowling team but yes it has more effect at second innings.

People are complaing abt that toss....I don't have any issue with the toss....in India if u play night or day night games ....u get dew from October to February.....so u have to ready to bowl with wet ball or u have score excess of 200+ to defend it
If u r saying toss is a issue it's illogical for a Indian fan like me ........
@@cricketraazenglish thanks for it ...I don't have much knowledge abt picthes ...but I can't blame dew
You can counter the dew factor by playing brave cricket in the first inning...make a 200+ score and then see if dew really won the match for the other team. Again you have to be brave which i think was lacking in many good teams including india.
Great Analysis brother keep it up 👍
ICC should have applied the Test format of having 2 innings in this world cup, each innings of 10 overs.
You're very much spot on,especially the last line,This world cup was boring and wasn't up to the mark as a multinational world tournament.
