One of the Cons: high frequency of crazy drivers, either super slow or zip zapping on highways.

This is a great assessment. I moved here from Virginia 26 years ago with my husband. It was a bit of a culture shock initially. We lived in Metro West then Lake Mary and now Sanford. Sanford is up and coming with craft beers and the night scene. There is a quaint downtown area, also the Sunrail stops right in Sanford. I-4 and tourists are probably my biggest pet peeve. But, Orlando and the attractions thrive on tourists...so you take the good with the bad. Oh, and Dr. Phillips in downtown Orlando, if you like the arts!

me moving from LA to Orlando and living here for almost a year now. traffic is paradise here. im so use to la traffic that this is nothing. amazing traffic never had a problem. the worse day of traffic i've been in orlando is better than the best day of traffic in LA. lol

For the record... Cocoa and Cocoa Beach are two different cities. Cocoa Beach IS the closest beach to Orlando. And we have lived beach side since 2021. Considering Orlando.

I wouldn’t want to live there permanently, but I’d love to spend a year or two in Orlando because there’s just so much to do. Such a big difference from where I’m from, all we have is one movie theater. 😅 I just don’t think I could take the weather there very long. Too hot and humid.

I get that, during the summer it’s definitely brutal. But the rest of the year it’s actually really nice weather wise

I say a year and a half max and you’ll be ready to relocate. 6 months to get settled down and a year to explore then your time will be expired because it’s nothing really here that would make you want to stay!

Hello! Thanx for your video-it was very informative. I am looking to move there next Summer. How is the transit system in Orlando? I would have to rely heavy on it.

Still deciding if I want to move to Orlando next year. 🤔 Used to live in Broward/Miami Dade and cost of living is out of hand. 🙄I think one challenge would be what area to move to. I prefer being within 15 minutes of a gym, grocery stores (preferably Publix), and food joints. And I really hope there are things to do besides the parks. Sad there’s no professional football team 😟

You can definitely be within 15 minutes of a gym, Publix, etc. Plus at the end of the day both the Bucs and Jags are not too far
