- Cane Corso Puppy Training can happen very early on. With help from our Animal Behaviorist, Tj, from Rocky Camp we have a training routine in place during feeding times to help set our puppies up for success later on by helping prevent food aggression.
This is so helpful! Thank you just had a litter of 7 cane corso puppies!
First of all you look great. Secondly, thank you so much for sharing your raw and vulnerable experiences. I have two Cane Corsos and your information has been very valuable in my learning process and adjusting training with them.
You do not look like a frump! You look exactly like everyone else does in the real world! I'm in shorts and tank top shirts at home!
You did well by your pups, and your very first litter!
And you're not abusing them!
I think you are too hard on yourself!
i think shes looking damn fine.
Thank you very much, this is the best video I've seen. We decided to buy only one puppy, we thought it would be impossible to train two and it’s hard they won’t obey us, and you have 8 or 9 of them. YOU'RE GOOD I agree with the opinions of others You don't look like a frump! You look like everyone else does in the real world. Beautiful and attractive
Thank you very much for your encouraging words, very much needed today. It is hard work but very worth it and some days are really really hard with any puppies but they grow out of most things by 2 years old.
Amazing training, great job
Thank you!
I love the swimming pool potty are idea. That is awesome. I will be adopting that method until mine can go outside. Thank you.
I thought you were good with all of them but my only comment I blurted out loud was don’t throw the puppy 😮 but then I saw it was on a bed❤
Great Video, I have a new litter of Corsos and you helped me so much and I understand your video ❤
This is a good video on how to train puppies when they get big🙂
Amazing love it
Good Job and way to be patient 👏🏽
Thank you!!!!
Great job as a breeder

Will do 👍
Lots of good info thx alot!!!!
What if I don’t have a birthing box where would I get my 5 week old puppy to wait to eat ?
That’s really good job 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏
my corso pup, he's got incredibly awful food aggression , I've been working with him since he came home. The breeder knew the pups are all this way and she didn't tell any of us. I have contacted the other pup parents, and they all have this awful food aggression. I'm wondering if its bc she was leaving all day, and left one big bowl of food for mum, pups, and her male to all eat and pups were not getting enough, apparently the male was kicking the pups off the food. I'm just now learning this. I'm incredibly upset
I wish I would have found you guys weeks ago. But I have no problem waiting until you breed again.
Well if you find any pups sooner from other breeders we would be happy to help you review the breeder to make sure you are getting a quality puppy!
That's nice. I'll appreciate that. And for that comment alone I think I'll start my base program with you guys next year. If you decide to breed. However I will be looking for a female around the same time so yes. Any assistance with choosing a quality breeder would be greatly welcomed. Thank you
Nice job!
Great video , keep going
Thanks!!!
Thank u for the information may i ask wat size do u recommend for the duration whelp I have a litter of 6 thank u and God bless
I got the largest one as it mainly has to be big enough for the mom. The puppies grow quickly too! You could probably get away with one size down but more room is better if you can afford it.
Good job!
Thanks!
Wow now I have an idea ! Thanks for the vids!
How long did it take the pups to learn to go the bathroom in the litter box? Do you find it hard to clean up with the wood chips?
I did not like the wood chips as it was hard to clean up but all the pups were very well potty trained when they went home. The outdoor smell of the wood chips help it seems! I never got the chance to have another litter but I would definitely do the puppy culture course if I do as it seems to help train them even further. It took them a week to get the basics I think but a good month to be trained fully
I've been trying to find a walk through of the Misty Method but have only seen videos of people saying they use it or showing their setup. I'm currently using a method I found from a UA-camr that seems very close to the Misty Method except my puppies want to sleep in their potty area and not in their den area... which makes very yucky puppies...
Yes! I have had the same issue! I have a video on it somewhere. But I had to do some training with them. So basically whenever I came in the room and they were sleeping they all went in the potty spot. If any were laying down they would get a little neck poke and be moved out of there. So corrections for sleeping or playing in there. Within a week they got it until I changed the litter material and had to go backwards and do some retraining after I removed it. I use cedar chips so it smells like the outdoors. Just a mess to clean up everyday!!! But puppies were all potty trained by 12 weeks so it definitely works!
@@canecorsochronicles510 All but 2 of my 3 week old puppies use the bathroom in the correct place but all but one sleep in the potty area... I suspect I have the room to warm. I haven't tried the pellet litter yet but I tried wood chips, straw, sod and disposable and washable pee pads. Aside from cost I like pee pads the most because of convenience and cleanliness of it. But I have had puppies in the past use mats, towels and other cloth items on the floor to use the bathroom on. So I might try the pellets.
You look lovely
Hi I love your video. Do you have website to your kennel? I currently have an American Bulldog and am highly considering a Cane Corso next doing a lot of research and looking for multiple breeder option.
Thanks Liyah. Yes you can check us out at www.guardiancanecorsos.com. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm expecting puppies late summer this year, hopefully ready to go home in October.
How often do you let puppies go to the toilet?
They have free access to their litter spot until they were 7 to 8 weeks old. And we took them outside as soon as they would follow us out. Then we had them outside at least 4 times a day to potty.
Hi there! I was just wondering if you can tell a difference between black puppies and black brindle puppies when they are under 4 weeks old? Or if sometimes rate all black puppies get some brindle spots after some time? Is this common? Also- sometimes are the all black puppies less jet black than others? 😊😊😊
Do you like that box I also got it I think I’m gonna buy the pen too I don’t have tons of room like that lol
I do like the box, there are some other options now too. Like the white raised garden bed pieces that I like, but you need something that protects the sides so the moms can’t squish them.
What puppy food are you feeding them, please?
I think you found our video where we share everything, if not let me know!
How do i teach my puppy to use its pads for potty
The pads come scented to promote the dog to potty on them. I would just keep bringing your dog to it and praise them when they go. I’ve also read that you can bring a 💩 they did and place it on the mat to help. I’m not a trainer though so take what I say with a grain of salt
What's inside the potty area?
Pine shavings, full video on that here ua-cam.com/video/1DTnJy4cJCk/v-deo.html
Hi, do you have your website?
Yes www.guardiancanecorsos.com
How much ?
Our puppies were $2700 but we don't have any right now.
Don't handle them so roughly..wud you like to be thrown like that...respect animals ...absolutely insane....
